Jeez. Everything is unique + infinite 500 is apparently "Die the Death, the Game". Admittedly the forge knights I'm trying to get off the ground in the infinite dungeon are a bit of a slow start, but there's been like three (out of something like 10 critters I haven't gotten off the first floor, so far) that literally died one turn after starting the game, due to some random'd up critter insta-murdering me from the darkness. It's pretty crazy. None of m'critters have reached character level two yet, nevermind dungeon. Only one has even seen the stairs down (died roughly two turns later to a random unique). This is freakin' brutal.

E: Okay, yeah, time to switch over to an adventurer with the neat parts of the forge knight's kit and, like, flame or something. I think that'll go better, just as soon as the game stops generating uniques in the starting room and direct LoS of my character, which has now happened four five goddamn times in a row.

E2: Ahaha, made it to level two! Flame saved the day!

... until level two also generated a unique fire dragon hatchling. Damnit all.

E3: Okay, yeah, I'm not sufficiently masochistic for this shit. I'll just... leave the infinidungeon alone for a while.

E4: Sweet zeus that XP gain bug with the uniques mod is ridiculous. Walked into the dark crypt at level 26 (which, by the by, I hit before even entering OF, just by doing the 2/3rds of the tier 1 dungeons and the trapped quest), walked out at level 49. In gives-no-damns mode, so I don't really care, but freaking still. That's just silly.

E5: Gained 31 levels clearing out old forest. Character is now level 80. I... I think I'm done for the night.

Wouldn't chemical interactions necessarily involve acceleration on a minute scale, though? Stuff's getting from one spot to another. Really tiny stuff, but still.

Candidate's a candidate. VS counts as much as anyone else running with no actual intent to get elected.

I'm still only part of the way through Dragonball so forgive me if Lunch ends up dead or something equally bad like married.
If google's image search is to be trusted, she appears to have something going on with T-man Three-eyes. If you're going into the realm of crossover fanfiction, though, don't let that stop you. Considering the whole robin thing, B-man could probably be written into an OT3.

... of course, considering the robin thing it might be that Chiaotzu has more to worry about on that front :V

E: uh well

ignore that last bit

it appears chiaotzu is in a committed relationship with an inanimate object

what the hell

Now learn how to make cream cheese icing.
Done. Thank you, based google.

Seriously though, look at that freaking recipe. It's literally take a bit of powdered sugar and whatever other junk you want in it and stir. That's it. It's amazing ;_;

... I had not quite realized how easy it is to make icing.

It is really easy to make icing.

Icing is delicious ;_;

There is now a pound cake type thing in the fridge well covered in cinnamon icing. It's good~

But wow, the effort involved in that was, like. Nil. Took maybe three minutes, most of which was finding where the ingredients were hidden, to make a solid cake's worth of delicious cinnamon icing. Now to clean the mixing bowl into my stomach :3

Hey, watch that last bit. The books are actually somewhat interesting. A few of them, anyway. Ones I've read have been fairly solid, not "unadulterated filth."

If I wanted to encourage people to sit up and start thinking about their economy I'd simply show them information about average income, average savings, expenditures and so on, adjusted for inflation of course, compared to several periods in the past and contrasted with the same figures for the highest earners in their country across the same period.
I guess the thing you're missing is that people are doing just that -- have been doing that, for literal decades now -- and it's not working. Great swathes of the american public are exposed to that information regularly. It's barely influencing them. As SG notes, there's a difference between having the data and actually caring to do something about it (even if that "something" is just acknowledging there's a problem), and just the data, no matter how troublesome, is only rarely enough to motivate the latter.

Though, uh. If you've got a friend in the states or somethin', you might want to see about trading some cash to them for the game, or something along those lines. Looks like GG's not bothering with exchange rates on that one. Might be able to shave a little off the price, heh.

And when the rock is a celestial object or the piece of metal is a low orbit tungsten lightpole, you have your WMD.

... so is that one step removed from the one* where the only thing stopping the world from being destroyed is the protag's physical chastity, or...?

E:* Actually, I think there's more than one of those, it's just fairly rare (?) said protag is male instead of female. And it's not just porn.

The extent I want to watch reality TV about becoming a movie star, animated or not, cast of supernatural beings or not, is the exact extent I want to shove an icepick into my eye socket. Note: This is incredibly little. I like my eyeballs, and their sockets, unperforated.

There probably would be a pretty hefty viewer base for something like that, though. S'just definitely not a base I'd want anything to do with.

plenty of people would rather break into their own house than call a locksmith.
This, at least, is because it's frankly often cheaper to just outright break the door down and replace it than call in a locksmith, nevermind just breaking in which can be trivially easy (one house I lived in a bit back actually had a decent sized knife holding one of the back windows closed specifically so there'd be something on hand to jimmy the door open if needed. Took like five seconds.). Lock openin' folks can get pretty ruddy expensive.

Fairly sure people die before they reach that state, if something screws up and physical development doesn't manage to continue. Often vaguely horrifying to some degree, too. Various sorts of arrested development are, like, one of those things people point to as proof that the divine must be at least somewhat malicious. Nasty stuff, hellish life for what little those sorts of folks tend to last.

There's some pretty wonky cosmetic surgery out there, though.
