Why fold it half, though, MZ? If you cut it into thirds, you can toast one of the pieces and have miniature toast sammiches made out of one piece of bread.

... though yeah, folded bread is really good for a lot of things. Cheese, meat, whatever isn't really big enough for two pieces of bread. Wrap it around an apple slice and add some syrup or honey or somethin'. All sorts of stuff. Bread is bread, but sometimes the logistics of the situation doesn't really favor a two-piece sandwich.

Y'know, in retrospect, I'm kinda' surprised there hasn't been an official announcement for Half-life 4 today.

At this point, that's totally what they should do. Just outright skip over a number. Never release HL3, just jump right on to HL4 and keep going.

wait, a Western RPG made in Japan ? does that even exist ?
Any of the things like etrian odyssey would probably count -- they're very much in the mode of classic stuff like M&M. Hell, the Wizardry series still has parts that never got localized into english, iirc. There's also a good handful of your average isometric party crawlers and junk. Pretty much anything you'd consider to be an iconic western/CRPG has a rough equivalent that was japan based (and probably never translated >_>).

I was reading about the health benefits of earwax, and now I'm a little paranoid.  I've never had earwax in my life.  I clean them every day and there is nothing ever on the q-tip.  I wonder how common that is...
At least accordin' to the doc I went to when I had an ear infection, q-tips are actually more or less pretty bad for your ears. Cleaning like that can cause abnormally high wax production due to irritation and whatnot, as well as having a chance to cause physical damage to the inside bitsies. There's probably a warning on your q-tip box whatsit about that, actually -- the one we've got here pretty specifically says to not stick the thing in your ear. If you're not really seeing thing after a shower or whatev', it's likely you've just washed it out during rather than there not actually being wax production going on... though if there isn't, y'might want to check with a doc or somethin'.

Along with that, the wax is kinda' there for a reason, annoying as it often is. I've forgotten what the reason was, but *shrugs*

Non-guaranteed quest drops are the worst thing ;_;

Why won't you drop your skull, flying hammerhead shark. I need it for jink ;_;

E: ... this game actually has a quest that is straight up to go beat the crap out of platypus and steal their glasses. That. That's...

Honestly, just that thing looks bad enough as is. It's like nurgle got a hold of a copy machine. Disease ridden (shit is glowing chernobyl blue), malformed, dead, staring, eyes in strange places, shape twisted horribly, and babbling to you about love and stuff. Someone warp cancered the printer, right there.

There is some.

From what I understand, as a general thing what's involved is fairly painless as modding goes. You're still coding, with all that entails, but the engine is fairly powerful and comparatively easy enough to muck with, and the IRC active enough you can usually get a question answered sooner or later if you don't want to mess with the forums.

Key thing there is as modding goes, of course, but it is what it is. LUA's still coding, but it's not as bad as it could be, and there's a lot of examples of various stuff in the game and mod-stuff already to crib code from.

I think they have those, but the bread on the outside is in fact made of plastic and steel. Not the most edible of constructions. Also generally has power running through it and probably bits of significantly heated metal. Biting not advised unless someone you seriously dislike and are maybe trying to off for money.

Why are you thinking high school kids with a truck and copious amounts of duct tape are thinking?

So if orks are as clever as ants it's not cleverness but the law of large numbers that leads to their successes.
I'll say it again: The deal with the orkz isn't a matter of cleverness but radically different paradigm. Reality literally doesn't work the same way for them as it does everything else. Orkz are clever about being orky, and some of them are that plus more. Thinkin' an ork is stupid is a quick way to get a choppa' stuck in yer gob. They just fundamentally think differently than other sentients.

Well, at least the sentient ones do. The squig-forms actually are pretty stupid, assuming one of the more tinker-minded boys hasn't done something odd to it.

Mind you, that can actually manifest as behavior like those ants displayed -- if orkyness was about getting stuck in tape, they'd all get stuck in tape, forever, and the weight of their desire would warp the firmament of reality to make sure they have a sustainable tape-sticking situation, forever. It would seem stupid by the human perspective, but... you can't really call it stupid if the metaphorical ants are getting exactly what they want (a mighty struggle followed by death, repeating into eternity for their entire species). You can call the goal stupid, but their methodology is solid as hell based on their characteristics.

They do have hella' large numbers, though. Ork biospheres and biological matter probably make up a fairly substantial portion of the 40k galaxy's organics by raw weight.

Deaderboats :V

E: Though I guess with someone sky-named over there, in the guild or not, something like DeadZeppelin would be good, too. Also rock themed and a even more oblique DF reference.

On the one hand, I was expecting volcaria to be a fire themed f.fighter, looking at the icon.

On the other hand, those 40k damage meteors are, uh.

Uh.

... yeah. Professions, man. Gives a level 38 exo an add that hurls around 40k damage aoe bombs. Constantly. It's a thing. Kinda' expensive, but bloody hell.

E: Though going from medium to hard seems to have dropped the damage from 40k to about 12k, which is slightly crazy. Volcy was still more or less able to solo the giant shark boss thing. Freaking meteor spam ;_;

E2: Also aky, couldn't figure out an easy way to throw money at you, so I just dropped 50k into the guild thingy :V

I'm more curious about the apparent implication that zangi is breeding with their sister.

I am now picturing an entire book written as sheet music. What tense is ♫ again?
