The untranslated name is "Gate - Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri". Google will provide anything else you might need, really. There's definitely a fair amount of the manga fan-tranz'd, though I couldn't say if all of it has been, yet, as well as a little bit of the novel and LN.

That's really fun with LNs, actually.

Oddly enough, I've found it's not that bad when it goes from actual translation to edited machine translation -- most of the meaning still gets through, and if you're going from a previously solid base some of the sketchier bits make better sense.

... though sometimes it actually improves the experience, too. The ham begins to flow~

... you totes can stumble across creepy shit that way, too. Just... less creepy. And less often. And significantly less explicit but ANYWAY moving on

I'unno FD, jynx is pretty stacked, and there's a lot of different head sizes to choose from in that particular anime. The 'mons probably qualify somewhere in there.

Horse takes a sip a lot easier when there's no obstacle course in the way and they don't have to walk half a day to get there, though... time and availability might not, strictly speaking, generate interest, but it does make it a lot easier for that interest to spark. It'd take relatively little effort to knock down some walls between the voter and the ballot.

15157
Do remember that with mandatory voting, you're entirely allowed to just turn in a blank ballot, if you don't want to vote for whoever.

Still, making voting day a holiday and a saner day, along with a bit better on the social pressure to vote, would likely help a fair amount. S'fairly doubtful we'd see such at the moment, though... GOP, at the very least, has been pushing the voter suppression thing pretty hard the last handful of years. Lot of people in power really don't want more people voting :-\

They could have genderflipped that character and kept exactly the same costume :<
But the cleavage-window and the thighs, vec D:

Think of the market! And I guess the animators -- that second outfit is a lot less detailed.

... or don't. It would have been better if they hadn't, but. Oh well...

The fuck is up with those shoes.
I kinda' want to see them in real life, if only to see if it's actually possible to walk in them >_>

15159
Yeah... shifting the day (monday or friday would probably be significantly better, if not the weekend outright) and making voting day a national holiday would probably help a fair bit. Whoever thought setting it on a tuesday and not giving people a legally mandated excuse to get off work for it was a good idea was an idiot at best. That'd be a nice and easy first step, in any case. Wish I could remember why we're still, well... not doing that.

... its worth noting re: the article FJ posted that obama didn't actually suggest mandatory voting, though. Just more or less said it'd be pretty neat. Transformative, I think the exact word was?

That was interesting. I didn't know you could run into sashy twice in one run. I now have two crowns of burning pain >_>

E: Welp! Hounds just mostly cleared the armory death room by their lonesome. I helped a little with arrow echoes and spamming blink to keep the numbers up, but. Yeah. They did most of the work.

Seriously, decent damage + seven turns of invulnerability + unending supply = faceroll. Those hounds are kinda' ridiculous.

E2: Did it sub-40, too (if barely -- the last of 'em got me up to 40 :P) and mostly t4 items. Critter hasn't even gone back west yet~

E3: And now they've solo'd all the backup guardians -- most my warden did was the occasional blink command to get them in place, or catch 'em back to a teleporter. Don't think the damage output can keep up with higher difficulties, but insofar as trivializing normal, the hounds seem to manage that without much effort. Eesh.

Well, uh. Huh. Turns out that not only can the hounds solo a dream horror, they can one round a dream horror, with the blink buff going. That's... that's beautiful ;_;

E: Ha! Apparently someone's already won on insane with a 1.3 wyrmic. Turns out someone wasn't paying the most attention to Ice Wall's numbers :V

Actually, I think the best part is what blanket acceptance of non-canon texts would mean for groups like the mormons. They'd suddenly have solid grounds for claiming theological weight more or less equal to the bible itself.

It'd be great :V

15163
Enoch was penned some time in the second century BCE. Or, about 200ish years before christ.  At the time christ was traipsing about Jerusalem, it was considered sacred, and part of the religious tradition.

It cannot be simply handwaved off when reviewing the religion's historic roots. The current bible's form is the result of revisionism by scribes some 300 years AFTER christ, in an effort to standardize the faith's practice.
All I can really say is it would be (even more) amazing(ly silly) if we held theologians to the early non-biblical texts, too.

I'd be for it. Would be fun to watch.

15164
... according to extra-biblical sources, mostly, whereas all the references in the bible itself may not even be talking about the same thing. Lucifer itself is almost certainly not a reference to the Adversary, for one... especially considering the word that would be corrupted into it showed up precisely once, talking about something else.

People put so much random cruft on that critter. I get that the fanfiction felt the need for some extra spice, but still :-\

The pride, the hatred, the rebellion... buncha' other stuff. More or less none of it supported by canon. It's faintly irritating some days, y'know? Whatever happened to that no-false-witness thing? *grumbles*
