I wonder if eating one meal a day is a good way to lose weight without terribu side effects .-.
It's actually a good way to gain weight. Kicks your body into starvation mode and causes you to start building up fat deposits or somethin' along those lines, iirc. You can pretty easily lose a number of pounds by eating more and smaller meals over the course of a day, if you've been eating one meal a day for a bit.

... there's not really a healthy way to effect weight loss via dietary change, unfortunately. Pretty much literally your only option is increased activity. Everything else either won't manage it, won't maintain it, or do terrible things to you in the process. Or all of the above.

Jeb was florida's governor (read: He had significant administrative influence over the state I live in), and one of the primary motivating forces behind the complete fucking of our education system over the last number of years. Among other bullshit. I'd give not unfavorable odds to the bet that setting the country on fire would do less damage to it than putting that bugger in charge.

Hilary... heart of a republican, flesh suit of a democrat remains a disturbingly good descriptor of her. Troubling history regarding civil rights and foreign adventurism, among other things I'm too dizzy and feverish to remember. Would not want to vote for either. Would only even consider voting for hillary if there was a notable chance of jeb actually winning. Would be entirely too tempted to burn down every polling booth in a thirty mile radius if the POTUS vote was between the two of them.

... y'know, it'd be really rather nice if neither of them ran at all. It would significantly reduce the urge to burn down the local polling buildings.

... when did this turn into the Ukraine thread, again? Am I hallucinating and FJ actually changed the title at some point?

Except instead of asking, the mother drew up an OFFICAL ASS LOOKING INVOICE, incluiding invoice number, and told the other parents that she'll take them to small claims court because they're refusing to pay...
Taking your personal accounting seriously isn't a vice, imo. There'd be a lot fewer court cases if people actually had invoices and whatnot on hand.

I think only most of it is. There's still bits that are alright among the sprawling urban ruin, apparently?

I'unno, detroit's a long way from florida.

General Discussion / Re: Religion Questions Thread

Wait, arguing isn't allowed here, is it?
Arguing really isn't the point, yes. Questions for clarification of positions are alright, but actual pushing of positions and whatnot is... not the original idea, s'far as the OP seems to go.

... really, the idea is just to present and clarify positions and whatnot. Answer questions, not push ideology or interrogate people, y'know? Is why it's the religion questions thread, not the religion discussion thread. Here to learn, not push agendas.

NO I'LL NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER LINUX IS
Of course you won't. Much like the young men fondling themselves in the street, Linux users constantly have to check to make sure it's still there and hasn't crawled into a programming hole and segfaulted or something.

Do you really think Fubuki Does Not Have Enough Star Chips To Challenge Maximilian Pegasus and Loses would be a real episode?
It'd be pretty great if it was...

... that requires actually turning off the computer, though. I've only got two more days before the current uptime reaches a full 30 day month!

I mean, it's irrelevant in my case 'cause I turned off autoupdate ages ago, after the last update attempt near completely borked the computer and forced a rollback, but still. Shut down is for scrubs.

... most pathetic victories I've achieved have all been through Vengeance of the Dead. There's nothing quite like winning a fight through auto-rout after doing zero damage to the enemy.

... yeah, love me some grey goo I do, but looking at the TB videos linked this is just generic RTS X^50. Uninspired and uninteresting, unfortunately. I've played enough copy-paste RTS clones over the decades to not really want another one :-\

Maybe, just maybe, folks stop trying to intentionally antagonize a forum member?

DAMMIT, FOMM! BE MORE CLEAR!

 >:(
Isn't there a log file or something buried somewhere that details the process a bit better? Pretty sure some of the TES games have that, anyway...

The hell you can't. Unplug the machine.
