Choose your own adventure games being roll to dodge or are there actual games like that?
This was from, like... hours and hours ago, but whatever. If you want to get a glimpse (and by glimpse, I mean most all of it, online, with the original author's blessings) at one of the better CYOA series, check this thread.

It's worth noting that CYOA games, originally done in print format, are older than you are, Cryx. They're also older than me, and most people on the forum. We're talking 40s, 50s, with notable popularization starting in the 60s or thereabouts, iirc. They've been around for a while.

There's also freakish bucketloads of them online (often ran as some variation of text adventure), and we've got at least one LP that started recently.

Nothing. But counting her husband, about the usual for working middle class, I don't know the exact figure.
Thaaat might do it, bringing her over the minimum. If they've got the time and capability, your parents might consider crunching some numbers and seeing if they'd be better off filing taxes separately or somethin'. Forget if there's a way to finagle things so one or both would get off the hook for the penalty (it's been a few weeks since I last saw the numbers and process), but it's likely worth looking in to.

Still shouldn't even remotely be 2k, though. Especially not specifically against your mother, if she's filing jointly with her husband.

Yeah, "small" fine, sure. Now that the bills are coming it in it doesn't look that fucking small at all, I'm afraid. My mother, whom I was just getting to come around from a right-wing party line, is being smacked with a $2000 fine come tax day, and she makes almost nothing to begin with.
That's... odd. First year fine's just... $319, iirc (at least that's what I was informed of by the healthcare.gov folks), or thereabouts, and waived entirely for folks under a certain income level. If she makes almost nothing already -- specifically, if her income's low enough she isn't legally required to file taxes -- there's no fine. Or shouldn't be, anyway.

If it's 2k, either something else is going on or things are substantially different in NC.

Though a 2k fine is still cheaper than the monthly costs of most insurance policies they're offering down here in FL, bleh.

Sometimes rubbing against wizard dong is the price you pay for freedom, Arx. Carpe scrotum.

I don't know if it'll ever be resolved, but he claimed he could get all but one of us out of the room using only the portable hole he pretended was his handkerchief. I still don't know how...
... stuff everyone in the portable hole, have a familiar take it and jump into the dragon's mouth, hope digestion occurs outside of lair?

What I don't get is the obsession with unhaired bodies.
That? Signifier of youth, mostly (let's not get into how vaguely creepy that can get, sometimes.). Aesthetics and texture, to a lesser degree. Hygiene is a mildly distant third. Think that about covers all the bases. It's pretty understandable and mostly straightforward why the general opinion of non-top-of-head hair leans towards negative.

S'also fairly common in RTS games with female units :-\

Already forgotten which they were, but there was something like three different RTSes I ended up muting in the last year specifically because of that. It's gotten so I'm not terribly enthralled by a fight that sounds like a bad remix of Daijiru.

... mooost that involve female deaths. The death cries of women in games are, uh. Things. It's only been in the last year or two I've started actually noticing it, myself, but it's more than a little offputting once that happens and it's basically freaking everywhere.

It... looks like you can play the first bit online? Yeah, can -- the website linked in the OP has it somewhere on there.

Now excuse me while I eat a puppy. E:

Eh, you'd turn it into pics and then into an .html/.cbr (depending on how you go about it) file, apparently. It'd take a lil' bit of effort if there isn't some program out there that automates the process, but meh.

3. Omniharem route get! Wait, no, let's not get weird. Er. Weirder than the game itself does, anyway.
because I was honestly not expecting a CYOA to give that option.
Let's go with that.

Looks like the current best method is to convert the .pdf into something readable by Vita's comic book viewer app, at least without getting into fancier mucking about.

There might just be browsers for the vita, too? If so, conversion into .html and uploading somewhere or somethin' would probably work, too... 'course, if you've got a browser on the thing there's always online junk.

... probably six. Most of the time megaman games improve (gameplay wise, anyway) as they get newer, imo, at least until you hit the PS2+ era.

Then, uh. From what I understand, they still do, there's just the usual hiccups from changing art styles and whatnot. I just haven't really played those ones. Or many of the actual megaman ones to completion... was always more of an X-series fellow.

E: Ohey, they actually got around to officially localizing rockman and forte. Maybe get that instead :P

Or 7. Honestly, I was never terribly enthralled by the pre-SNES or gameboy ones :-\

... so it's like every other modern news site in the existence? I've yet to see one of those that didn't look like someone decapitated a web designer, shat down their neck, buried the corpse in a dung pile, waited for toad to lay an egg in the mess, and then put whatever came out the egg through a blender and willfully de-optimized the results.

Damned things usually crash the goddamn browser if javascript and plug-ins aren't disabled. Half of them crash 'em anyway, the diseased shitspawns. *mumbles something about litany of journalistic hate*
