Glancing at G-Reco now.

Only thing I really have to say at this point is that those walker things are quite possibly the deadliest forms of personal transportation I've seen in anime.

It's really telling that within two episodes of the show, one person has been thrown out of one of the things and another walker-critter has had its front crushed during what amounted to regular operation. Operator safety is apparently not a priority in Reco-land.

E: Sweet zeus, they call those things shanks? Seriously?

I guess the colloquial term for a car wreck in reco-land is "hobo knife fight".

E2: Ohey, polka. Frumple approves.

E3: ... the hell. The seat is... also a toilet. That's a bit of worldbuilding I was not expecting.

E4: Poor kitty. Poor snake ;_;

E5: Well, my impression by the end of episode 4 is that this is going to end up as a stealthy aesop about a young man's struggle with his hair fetish. Hidden title: "Gundam Reconguista in G: Problems With Paraphilia."

Side characters are the young lady's previously forbidden lust for a now-dead much older man, and a younger lady's evident infatuation with electra complex for a giant humanoid war machine. I can only assume the other pink haired one has something going on with the haro.

"P... please, miss Monday. Don't... don't do that to the gundam."

"Papa! Papa!"

"Oh god."

Ha ha ha.

... Kamui gundam? Apparently?

Latest BF-Try. It is a thing.

FakeE: Continuing to watch. Kawaguchi's pulling a char DX

No, meijin, no! Don't go down the path of abducting teenagers ;_;

Oh gods, the vague terror in the voice of that kid in the store. It keeps getting worse. Why!? What the hell have you been doing over the last few years, man?!

Personally I find everybody who takes longer than five minutes to finish a meal to be a freak.
That's actually one of the reasons eating is seen as a social activity -- the talking makes the folks involved eat slower.

Which is... generally a good thing. Better for digestion, folks eating are usually less likely to overeat, etc. There's actually an argument that communal eating is an evolved trait of some sort for precisely such reasons, iirc. It's a completely bullshit argument because it's entirely untestable, but it's there :V

Obvlivion?
Oblivion is... Meh.
Oblivion has nehrim, and nehrim is pretty awesome.

... that said, this is the morrowind thread, and the OP notes kindly to avoid, y'know, arguments and such. So we should probably nix discussion of those other ones. Down that path lies yet another locked elder scrolls thread.

Please refrain from buggering tiger mosquitoes in the future, MSH.

FakeE: Though by the end of typing that, I realized it could be construed as a rather disparaging comment towards someone's personal endowment. Hrm. Eh. Roll with it.

Nonexistent, just like a samurai's combat effectiveness.

Dear Happy Diary:

Today it rained. As it, it started raining at sunrise and now, something like... 15 hours later... it is still raining. And it hasn't stopped.

Completely unsurprisingly, the area is currently under a flood warning :V

But rain! Huzzah!

As to that christmas on odd days thing -- personal family (or a branch of it, anyway) celebrated two days ago 'cause one of 'em isn't able to get off work on christmas/christmas eve. S'not like the precise day really matters, anyway, unless you're actually aiming for the solstice.

Christmas shall henceforth be known as International Family-Obligated Consumerism Day!
... was the acronym coming out as IFOCD intentional?

Wasn't Adam made first, though? Adam was made in the image of God, then Eve was just sorta made 'cause Adam was lonesome.
Only in one of the biblical creation stories.

There's two, and one of them have male and female made more or less at the same.

... and, of course, that 5 fatigue/turn is considerably less of an issue to mitigate. Extra gem cost on that (probably, anyway), but still...

Also makes the amulets really nice on just about anything sacred (not just assassins) if you've got an earth bless and they've got nothing better to do. Or just anything, if you've got the bless and are willing to make the gem outlay 5d5s :P

Or some variation of... other stuff. Minor reinvig's fairly common, and even two points of it nearly doubles the amount of skeletons an amulet can put out. Those amulets are really sexy :3

Hrm. Anyone here actually played Star Wolves 3? The first two are pretty alright, iirc (it's been a while since I dipped into 'em, but they twing a fond memory string), but I can't recall anything on the third, so it'd be nice to have a... well, first opinion. All three are going for like 7.50 USD total over on amazon at the moment.

... SC2 is garbage in comparison to SC1. On its own, it's an alright RTS -- not exactly stellar, but not as deserving of scorn as its reputation would suggest.

That said, bully is generally considered the better of the two in overall quality. Probably the better vote.

gweeble

Had nested dream. Been long time since that happened. Wake up from reading episodic magazine articles I've already forgotten the content of, intending to pop into wtf thread to note that apparently going to sleep after/while reading things vastly increases chance of dream-reading, but doing so with magazines also makes them, well, episodic (and you know what seriously blows? Dream-reading something awesome, getting to the end of a multi-part piece, and not having the next part on hand.). And then I wake up again.

At least I woke up in the right bed this time.
