First we'd have to get rid of that homo sapiens infestation... probably replace it with computers or something. Then those can get to fixing that whole "solar expansion" and "heat death" problem.

Step one: Omnicide.

Step two: Computer overlords.

Step three: ???

Step four: Glorious post-human utopia.

Voluntary cancellations are probably an improvement!

Yeah, being dictated to by another country's dictator about what is and isn't permissible freedom of expression [guaranteed by our own constitution in fact] is a pretty big improvement over the status quo
Hey, it's better than what we've been doing. Few years ago they might have instead decided to shove a glove up the arse of everyone that wanted to see the show and still canceled it. And then invaded some other country to sooth the collective ego and probably just outright abolished the 4th amendment or somethin'. Voluntary cancellation, no military adverturism, no legislative bumfuckery, and people are actually getting a little incensed instead of just rolling over for the Nth time? Pretty big improvement over the last decade and change's status quo.

After all, wasn't it our motto "Not to negotiate with terrorists"? America, have some balls.
C'mon man, pay attention. America hasn't had balls in over a decade. Apparently movies get people jumpin', but you never hear complaints about similar action in the face of bomb threats, shooting threats, etc., etc., etc. This is par for the course -- arguably even braver than usual, since we don't seem to be intending to slap someone with our military dong to try to fake confidence or violate constitutional rights to try to fake safety. Voluntary cancellations are probably an improvement! You should be proud, it looks like the nation might actually be starting down the path of getting some neurosis under control.

There's actually already daily realms, heh. They're part of the shrine upgrades.

As for stagger, there's a description of all (79 of) the status effects in the library. Can't recall what it does, though.

The damage difference on the iron golem probably is due to defense and attack and whatnot, at least if you're not attacking the same critter each time. There's type advantages, as well as stat variation and whatnot.

Amount of enemy critters are sorta' random. Even with a full six party you'll occasionally run into four or five critter groups... sometimes even three. But the normal amount does seem to scale up with level, so by the time you've got access to six critters, you can expect to be fighting six critters fairly often. Which can occasionally make things annoying as you're leveling up, if you're aiming for a specific critter instead of just filling your party as you're able.

There are. It's just that the "rebounce" is actually the colossus flexing its glorious bronze muscles and popping the dent back out.

That would require a North America based company to meaningfully acknowledge South America exists, though... you may be asking too much >_>

That's pretty shoddy reasoning, but it is rare. About one percent, IIRC.
... 1% isn't really rare. Like, at all. That would mean there's places in, say, New York, where there's possibly something nearing 600 per square mile on the upper end of things, and an average of nearly 300/mi2 if the 1% thing holds steady.

Popping in to snipe, there's actually a really simple response to that, too. The original hebrew that got eventually mangled by later translations into Lucifer was hêlêl (or heylel) :P

Lucy's not really ol' scratch's name, anyway. Iirc, it was never actually explicitly stated in the biblical texts.

... also, there's a fair handful of not!-el angels.... sorta'. Apparently only two angels period (michael and gabriel) are actually mentioned by name in the hebrew bible. Everything else is extra-biblical. But in all that extra stuff, you've got critters like sandalphon, metatron, yesod... there's a bunch of th'buggers, depending on where you draw from. But the convention kinda' isn't one -- there's only two angels mentioned by name at all in the actual texts, and beyond that the naming patterns falls apart.

And the amazing cognitive taste of realizing that this being what brings out calls of cowardice when we've been more or less actively violating our constitutional rights because of effectively the same sort of threat just hit me. Apparently the dander only gets up when you interfere with american media. Drag the 4th out behind the barn and riddle it with bullets? Eh. Shove a collective glove up the sphincters of thousands? Nothing. Cancel a movie? RAGEMODE ACTIVATED. Amazing.

There's something somehow beautiful about this. Something like a decade of nation wide paranoia and hilariously excessive levels of civil right eroding cowardice and the media equivalent of evacuating a school because of a bomb threat is what sets folks off. I think I need a nap to be able to better comprehend this.

Though on the bright side, maybe we're actually starting to pull our heads out of our collective hindquarters regarding that whole liberty vs. safety thing. That would be kinda' great.

Well, that was neat. Level 1 brim smith hit a level 20-something enemy for around 250 damage. Stick a nice raw-attack artifact into one of those things and ouch.

16167
... seriously? Are we actually going to be trying to frame this as some sort of national-level insult or sign of cowardice or... what? This, over a freaking sony movie? Really? This is what my countryfolk are reduced to? What the hell? Why is this even a blip on anyone's radar? Isn't there something, anything, more important to be giving a shit about?

Apparently the US's ego has transmuted itself into fragile glass or something while I wasn't looking.

Significance? How is having a celebration on the shortest day of the year anything to do with astrology?
Echo that: Longest night of the year's a better reason to party than many even without bringing in half-arsed divination.

A kobold just two-stabbed a giant to death with an iron two-hander.

I think I need to tone down the power of stabs. Just a tad.
Or stop kobolds from being so big they an summon meteors :P
Look, it's considered polite not to mention Penpen's multiracial cousin. The other double P doesn't like the spotlight.

Ah, insanity. Gotcha'.

Someone should probably tell them overt pressure tends to be more likely to cause a negative effect on grades than a positive, ha. Few things help grades as much as being chill about 'em.
