Tell them to stop, mostly. Just say, y'know, no, it's not like that, and the constant suggestions are beginning to annoy me. Please stop.

Alternately, get a little yippy dog with a penchant for either biting or humping, and every time one of them brings it up, shove the dog in their face. Pavlovian conditioning will set in eventually.

This situation includes people who had never heard of Christianity before and people who were just to ignorant to pay attention to it until death bed
I would probably posit that credible -- genuine -- faith is not something that can be fostered in that sort of time frame. By simple necessity of what is involved in cultivating and adhering (a great deal of time, and many challenges) to genuine faith, sudden, short term conversion is simply impossible. Maybe last minute conversion would knock a few years off purgatory or hell (if your denomination is one that holds that souls eventually leave hell, anyway) as a sort of, "Well, you tried, I guess." sort of thing, but it being sufficient for salvation is something I would call incredibly unlikely. Also something of a insult to those who actually have spent much of their lives as faithful, to the extent that would matter.

Good lie doctrine for the church to foster, though. They get in on more wills and near-death donations like that.

*coughs*

Does the bible actually say the soul is one indivisible being? Doesn't seem to say it isn't, either, but a quick search for verses containing the word soul seems to not say either way. Usually talked about like it's singular, but... that's not exactly explicit.

Oh, whoops.

... yeah, sorry, I've been calling you that in my head since you changed your name, FJ.

I actually have no fucking idea how to go about even looking for scholarships, let alone applying to them. :/
Step one is to check with the financial aid department of the school you're applying to, as FD ninja'd.

This is also steps two through ten. Also check with high school counselors and whatnot if you're going in for the first time (which, I don't think you are, but someone else might be) -- even if they don't specifically know, there's good odds they know who does. I would also probably recommend the local adult education facilities, if you have some in your area -- sometimes they have connections with the local colleges and whatnot, and even if you're not a student with them they may be willing to point you in the right direction.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it. Meat is much trickier, and some sorts are just bugger-off no this isn't working, but most things that aren't meat nuke passably.

Stuff advertised as microwave meals and whatnot are pretty universally terrible, though, yeah, with a few exceptions.

What's apparently pepsi's new slogan.

"Live for now"

It's like. Wow. Ominous, much? Did no one in your marketing department notice how that can be read? Or I guess they've decided people want a dose of fatalism to go with their bucketload of sugar and excess caffeine?

... maybe they've added apple levels of cyanide?

... yeah, FD kinda' got it.

In regards to the actual scholarship question, there's only been one bit of advice that was actually meaningful, and that was check. Your local and personal situation is going to be drastically different from anyone else that has been talking to you, unless they're actually in the same area you are (and pretty damn possibly not even then).

Personally, despite being basically a straight up WASP whose family made too much money to qualify for much from that angle, I got a 75% scholarship for my four year basically without trying, with a GPA of something like 3.6 and pretty much zero extra-circulars. A slightly higher (something like 3.7 or 3.8) GPA would have nabbed a straight up 100% tuition and books. It lapsed due to reasons I've forgotten at this point part way through, but... yeah. And I almost certainly qualified for a bunch of stuff I never applied for. So check, apply to everything, and see what happens. You very much literally won't know until then, because the on the ground stuff varies ridiculously.

My laptop's lasts <1 second. This is why we plug it into wall, yes.

... and yeah, it generally means it's time to replace, but computer batteries are kinda' expensive so :V

Dnmmdhstpjfrtotf is not a word, nor can it be reasonably sounded out. You have failed on all points that can be failed. Also please do not rage about what is ostensibly forum drama.

... just remembered to ask. Has the system requirements for custom games gone down yet?

Something like that, yes. The US's internet infrastructure is usually kinda' terrible, comparatively.

Probably skelliespam, particularly with the D randoms. Stick a skellie amulet on them and have 'em go to town -- starting off with a longdead's going to help any assassin, and the ones that can't spam the 2D undead creators will benefit from using the item spell, iirc.

As C'tis (and EA, from the 4.04 game that just recently finished) can testify, an assassin with death is kinda' ridiculous. Skelliespam vs. off script anything has an entirely too good of a chance of wrecking face.

Gets even better if you can get some N casters and the handful of acorns. Any critter-producing item, really. Also probably couldn't hurt to stick a spirit helm on 'em, if you have some to spare.

Oh, late game is still micromanagement hell, just... not as bad. Repeat recruitment alone does a lot to help out there, among other things, like monthly forging commands.

Is actually one of those points where disciple mode kinda' shines -- instead of one person controlling a massive, map wide empire, you've got that same space split up between multiple people. Means there's not quite as much micro on any one person playing, which is pretty darn nice.

... yeah, that. I just double checked and it's there just fine with DotA 2, on my end, anyway.
