If they've been renting places for very long, they're probably cursing you considerably less than the ones that don't say anything and just let the place fall to shit. Money now tends to be considerably cheaper than money later, when it comes to houses. Also, knowing about incoming buggerups in advance, instead of when a wall collapses or somethin', is simply golden.

'Course, if they haven't been renting for very long, they might not have had someone stay mum followed by an explosion of some sort. Then, they would probably curse you well out of ignorance for how much worse it could be.

E: Mind you, I've only known a handful of renter folks, but they tend to think well of the people that warn them the roof is about to collapse, rather than the ones that wait until it does. Or worse, don't say anything and let the landlord find out after they leave.

Or, to put it another way, the only state in the US with a lower population density is Alaska. The next highest (montana) is pretty close, though. The one above that is close to double wyoming's.

Also jeez, freaking DC. S'apparently nearly ten bloody times the density of the next smallest area in the states. 1764.8 times the density of wyoming. Also a larger population.

Screw consoles. DF doesn't run on consoles. If it did, the sheer number and impracticality of the menus would compact into some kind of singularity anyway.

Pretty sure it could run on consoles. Iirc, they had linux running on one of the more recent playstations. You got that, plus one of those plug in keyboards, and you're good to go. Doubt it would run well, considering the hardware, but it'd probably run.
