That means I can tell you what to do, right?

Put that away. That's terribly unhygenic.

Chainmail bikini's are so last season. Any self respecting warrior male or female wear chaimail thongs.
One of these days, a game is actually going to put a guy into a chainmail thong, right down to the arse hairs getting stuck in the links.

I will cheer, that day.

Also, there'll be an entire plotline revolving around the quest for magial nair. The trigger is to wear a chainmail thong, which is immediately cursed and will grant minor penalties until the quest is compete.

Mashed potatoes are a food that you can insert any other smaller bits of food into and enjoy. Except fruits. Haven't had a mash with fruits in it. That probably wouldn't be good. But otherwise, mashed potatoes+thing=better

Also, frumple confirmed for canadienn
Would probably be better off if I was, but eh.

And with mashed 'tatoes, it's not just smaller bits of food! Bigger bits, too. Several times in my life I have chopped up a pizza and shoved it into a bowl of mashed potatoes, stirred it around a lot and ate. Nummy, it was. Not as nummy as doing the same thing with mac and cheese instead of potatoes (or, better, a M&C/mashed potatoes mix, which is disturbingly amazing), but still A++ edible, would microwave again.

Is even better cooked on stove, even! Good stuff.

But yeah, throw it in some mashed potatoes/throw some mashed potatoes in it is one of my go-to culinary variations. I also haven't tried fruit, though. Well. I think apple sauce, once, but I do believe that was a horrifying experience I would not recommend. Apple sauce is verra' good on its own, but it doesn't play too well with other substances.

Baked potatoes plain are bland as hell. Needs liberal amounts of toppings to make palatable
I just add ketchup.
Ah, even better. One of the miracle condiments: Mix ketchup with roughly equal amounts of syrup. Maple or cane, it barely matters. One of the best flavorings for sausage in particular I have ever consumed, but it goes amazingly with lotsa stuff, including baked potatoes.

To be fair KUF wasn't ever a not-skimpy universe.
[snip]
Something about Xbox 1 and having women be virtually unclothed, I assume.
Fair enough. I'd actually never seen pics of the games before looking for this one, so if the earlier ones were decent maybe the devs involved are actually capable of walking the tightrope between breasts everywhere and a quality game. S'not impossible, just that quite a few that go down that path have trouble with it, heh.

17631
So, optimally it would be inverted, with a fat-looking armor?
Something like that. M'not exactly an armorer, but simple things like "don't redirect force towards the heart" is pretty obvious :P

Though yeah, from what I understand of the historic stuff, you did get kinda' chubby looking critters out of it. Want stabby/crushy things pushed away from vital points, et al.

17632
Booze is a hell of a drug, Siru. As are all the other drugs. And people that never cooked for themselves, ever. There are way more of those than you'd think plausible.

17633
The only concerns I have is that KUF 2 seems to be a free-to-play MMO. That raises a couple of flags in the anti-hype part of my brain, but it still looks like it'll be pretty damn cool. Here's hoping it lives up to its predecessors.
Immediate concern I had about it, when doing a cursory google search, was that something like 80-90% of the images that popped up was elf tit. That's... generally kind of a warning flag re: quality and whatnot.

17634
I'unno... the half-clothed ones actually give you helpful targets to aim for. In a certain sense, that's even better than nothing at all -- there's stuff in the way, sure, but in exchange you get all the weak spots highlighted for you. It's nice to have an opponent that's got "stab here" effectively tattooed in all the most effective places.

Hell, that's one of the problems with well-endowed chest plates, from what I recall -- they actually make it easier to shank someone since they redirect attacks to more sensitive areas. Would that all people trying to kill you be so considerate.

NO.

Gravy is for cooked potatoes ONLY.

This is important.
Wait, wait. What? How are mashed potatoes not cooked potatoes?

17636
Happy thread was here first :P

In any case, what is this game and why should we care about it? Also, what's with the half-clothed elf fixation?

Soy or teriyaki sauce is my preference. Whatever your favorite sauce of that sort is, really. Don't eat much butter these days, personally, and liquid sodium is better at getting in all the nooks and crannies.

This is also partially a WTF. Shit's 6 dollars each, yo. Better value-for-time than going to the movies, but I got mount and blade for the same cost per-book and that's been 100 hours.
Several hours back, but still. Thrift stores, P. Thrift stores. Used book stores, too. I think the most expensive discworld book I've bought so far (only two or three, but eh) cost like a quarter. Sometimes you really luck out and nab 'em for around a dime.

I USED to love baked potatoes. Now I can't stand them. Far too bland for me, and fillings don't last that long since they're only in the middle and can ooze out easily.
The trick with seasoning is to basically cut irrigation into the potato. Slice it in half, then do a kind of grid pattern along the open sides, just deep enough to not cut through the skin. Then apply seasoning, especially if it's less solid (meltable, as with cheese, works as well). The taste suffuses the entire potato, and all things are wonder and glory.

Mind you, I tend to treat baked potatoes as finger food these days, but that's neither here nor there.

... you have either never actually tasted moist chalk, or have been eating some ruddy terrible baked potatoes.
