I like sleep. How can people go out knowing they are only going to get 4 hours of sleep after?
Money to blow on energy drinks, from what I've seen. Also not really giving a damn about passing and whatnot. Or attending class after a hard party. Etc., so forth, so on.
You'll find there's less of those folks around after a bit, from what I've seen. By the time you hit the 2-3rd year equivalent of a four-year (Y'know, 2000+ level stuff, at least in the states), most of those have flamed out and got kicked out, one way or another, or buckled down and found something closer to a balance.
Freshman/general A(A/S) stuff, I'd probably recommend avoiding major universities if it's an option, especially if you can commute from home to a local community college or somethin' -- go onto a larger campus taking the higher level courses (and, hopefully, rooming with similar folks) and you (can, if you want to) avoid a fair amount of the partying silliness.
