...that used to just be "released", and maybe if you were lucky it might be patched later, or an expansion might fix things. But just as likely not. Personally kinda' prefer the new loose nomenclature over the old loose nomenclature, heh.

Gods damn it. Don't refer to other threads in the rage thread.

The store, siru. Not the actual bundles.

General Discussion / Re: Zoegate, AKA the fall of Video Game Media.

Is it even incredibly salacious, though? I mean, salacious, sure, but incredibly? Maybe for video game media, I'unno, but the overviews I've seen in passing so far have been more than a little underwhelming insofar as pinging the salaciometer goes. Like, not even a tuesday in comparison to your average politician getting their whores and booze on.

Admittedly, that's probably because there's a hell of a lot more money being thrown at political blackjack and hookers, but still.

Dat arena fight. More than a little drawn out, but kinda' amazing.

E: Ah, in other news, I'm getting wisdom teeth pulled day after tomorrow -- 21st. Having never gone through the process before, but having somewhat of a history of not reacting too well to painkillers, I have no idea how lucid I'm going to be afterwards. M'hoping I'll be cogent enough to deal, but if not, it might worth it for someone to puppet me for a turn or so. I'd say extend if it's coming up on the deadline and it looks like I'm not going to make it, but I'd kinda' rather keep things jumping as much as possible...

I just discovered that Cenotaph has a sequel in progress.
Mentioning the name is probably a good idea *coughworkingtitlecough*

In personal happies, one of the kittens/young cats outside seems to have finally been converted to the wonder and awe of fingers. Really likes getting her neck/back of head scratched, apparently.

Now we just need to get around to getting a nice sized cage or covert a room or something so we can kidnap her from outside and make her an inside cat. Along with her siblings, but they've been easier to wololo.

Fair enough.

... how is a magazine not a sort of book? Cover, back, writey stuff in the middle, maybe some pictures or whatev'. At least as much book as your average children's book.

The number of games these days with no gameplay whatsoever is horrifying perfectly normal.
There we go. Though I guess you get inured to it over the years or something.

Eh... fortress mode, maybe. Or, more specifically, fortress mode without some kind of ridiculous speed boost going on.* Advn. mode or arena is pretty easy to just pop open every once in a bit for a little fun.

*I actually haven't played the new version(s) in fort mode for more than a few minutes because I haven't gotten around to seeing if there's still a speed:0 equivalent. Playing normally is so slooooooooow >_<

Plus you need more dwarves to get much done in anything approaching a timely manner, and my poor computer's CPU would rather not.

Not surprising you hadn't heard of livingston, MC. Looks like it has a population of around 200.

Well, by that, I mean we mostly sound like Americans or Brits. Sometimes a bit different. But noone has ever non-ironically said the word....'Aboot'.
... which americans? Or which brits, I guess. Not as familiar with UK's spread, but there's something like five or six major accents in the US, and bunches of more localized ones.

Or do canadians do that freaky multi-vocal choral effect whatsit? All accents at once. Y'all should probably look into that if so. Can't be a good sign. Canada confirmed possessed by demon of politeness?

... what? Everyone has accents. Not being able to tell it's there doesn't make it magically vanish into the nether.

... neither capitalization nor punctuation. Full sentence, that is not.

LSP's actually fully capable of writing in an easily comprehensible manner -- they've used full grammar and all that nice stuff in the past, a few times. Just doesn't.

That doesn't make me look forward to college :l

I like sleep. How can people go out knowing they are only going to get 4 hours of sleep after?
Money to blow on energy drinks, from what I've seen. Also not really giving a damn about passing and whatnot. Or attending class after a hard party. Etc., so forth, so on.

You'll find there's less of those folks around after a bit, from what I've seen. By the time you hit the 2-3rd year equivalent of a four-year (Y'know, 2000+ level stuff, at least in the states), most of those have flamed out and got kicked out, one way or another, or buckled down and found something closer to a balance.

Freshman/general A(A/S) stuff, I'd probably recommend avoiding major universities if it's an option, especially if you can commute from home to a local community college or somethin' -- go onto a larger campus taking the higher level courses (and, hopefully, rooming with similar folks) and you (can, if you want to) avoid a fair amount of the partying silliness.
