A dating sim you say.
... don't we have a thread for that? Least that's more or less where the aquatic cargo hauling ended up, and that's pretty close to the same thing.

There's the warhammer stuff, I guess. Anything before Dawn of War 2, I'd say -- it's considerably more infantry focused, in general. Don't recall if the older one that actually had gargants and whatnot normally was an RTS or TBS, though... still, there was a couple of those pre-DoW ones that were fairly neat, from what I recall.

Mind also consider... Warwind? Yeah, that's it. The second one, particularly. It has tanks and mechs and whatnot. Also base building. Mind you, said tanks and mechs and whatnot are kinda' flimsy, from what I recall, but eh. Interface is a bit clunky but it was pretty interesting.

As for tanks, guessing you're aware of Warzone 2100. If not, well... there you go.

It's a testament to humanity in general that we're brave enough to take our only chance of salvation and nail him to a cross.
More like testament to our gullibility that so many of us bought the line that some random dude was our only chance of salvation :P

This may be slightly immoral.
Pretty vicious invasion of privacy, yes, and shows an absolute lack of respect for the owner. So not so much "slightly" as "entirely". Had a friendship pretty much killed by someone doing something similar to me (though not so much journal as rummaging around my computer without permission). Is definitely something the person in question would be justified in kicking the shit out of you and your roommate for doing.

So yeah. Not cool, etc.

... not really. Artillery and tanks still require crews and supplies (which themselves requires drivers and such), which are perfectly vulnerable to bullets. Definitely not useless against tanks and artillery, bullets. Don't have to blow up the tank, just have to kill the crew or stop the fuel or ammo from reaching it.

You think people Read? in this day and age.
Nah, people would much rather have it all up in the face in 1080p
You joke, poorly. People read constantly in this day and age. Just, like. Cellphone texts and facebook and twitter.

Actually. Someone should go about converting classics into a format compatible with such mediums. The Odyssey done via reaction image and sexting? That... that sounds amazing.

Love my dream brain ;_;

Already forgetting most of it, and don't intend to try and keep a memory of it, but today it decided it was going to hit me with the setup for an entire sci-fi series that could basically be summed up as "incredibly british star trek in a viciously wrecked galaxy". Ship design was somewhere between a much brick-ier ST and Babylon 5, I think, and partially AI controlled. It was pretty awesome. Ship flew into some kind of space gas cloud and partially exploded, ahaha! 'Cause the ship's systems couldn't process the gas after it got into its "stomach" (some kind of fuel production method or another, apparently) and it turned out to be volatile. Engineer dude was straight chill, very impressive -- buncha' crap caught fire around 'im, 'e just whipped out the spacey fire extinguisher and put it all out, went back to work. Good stuff.

No idea what I've done in my life to get my subconscious to love me back, but I'm very glad I did... whatever it was I did. Good dreams all day erry day~

It's actually making me wonder if a straight school life sim without the H bits would actually be an interesting game.
Preeetty sure there's actually a few of those running around, with varying degrees of the concept being played straight. No clue how well done and/or interesting they are, though.

Appears to be level 43. At least on the vault -- I could almost swear someone managed lower, maybe even sub 40. I can definitely testify that the last bosses drop just ludicrous amounts of XP, though. Makes ending with a low level difficult even if you walk into last peak pretty far down there, heh.

You and I both know that if milotic bones could be obtained by breeding and influenced IVs or something, pokemon players would be breeding the bloody fuck (horrific pun entirely intended) out of them for milotic bones.
