S'good you're somewhat self-aware, Kris. Need more folks like that on both sides :-\

But nah, going by rough calculations y'all only have another 20-25 years or so on the outside before gaza's just gone. Knock over 8+% (percent of the population displaced the last time I saw a number. Probably rising, ha!) of the population's housing every time Israel invades, do it once every two years, contribute to preventing reconstruction efforts one way or another... eventually all there will be is rubble and graves. Total fiscal cost to the Israeli government: 25 billion or so, if cost is in line with current estimates and stays steady. Even be able to calculate the estimated cost in lives whenever Israel decides to stop this particular invasion, with helpful breakdowns in case you happen to not care about the lives of one side or another. Be interesting to see comparison numbers for maintaining the cycle of invasion vs... well, not. Wonder if the israeli government/IDF has actually crunched the numbers... conceptually, as the ostensible rational actors in this case (yes... yes, the rest of you can stop laughing), I'd expect it, even if they're not choosing the path of least cost.

*I believe it is far less extreme than Islam, but have no intention to start that discussion here
Then you probably shouldn't have started up the discussion at all. The modify button is in the top right if you want to cut back the islamophobia and actually attempt to nix the derail in the bud.

No... no, I'm sorry. Alcohol loses in the face of zombie murdering milk. Regardless of why they changed, it is now the best change and should stay. If this is what censorship results in, it is an improvement.

Y'know, following that around a bit led me to the bamboo zombie one, which...

... the panda critters. It. It's actually milk. Like. Not booze. Actually, literally milk. It's not censorship, it's wakfu being bugnuts.

Never. I don't even know the person.

... beyond that, I think the only time I've heard the plant used in cooking is with tea. Usually it's, like. Smelly stuff? I guess.

On one hand, that really probably wasn't something that should be linked to, given forum guidelines and whatnot.

On the other hand, that shredder bit was amazing. Dude could satisfy an entire electronics store, simultaneously.

... so Israel isn't attempting to reconcile continued offensive ground operations with the concept of a truce. Just... continuing to occupy another nation's land and blowing parts of it up and calling that a truce. Bit depressing, that. Not that there's much about this whole situation that's not, but eh.

Wonder how many more Palestinian civilians the IDF's going to kill during this "truce" :-\

Speaking of that, actually, what sort of numbers re: civilian casualties are the IDF putting out so far? Wikipedia page on the conflict seems to be suggesting some pretty wildly varying numbers being accounted for by different groups.

How the hell do you reconcile continued offensive ground operations with the concept of a truce?

This is so touching. Alright, will do.
You know, you could set up one of those rotating avatar whatsits. The new one was nice, too.

Elves actually live in trees now. I have no more complaints against our cannibalistic neighbors, just a hearty "Don't eat me earbro" in greeting.

Also, I really hope EarthScorpion isn't dead or something. I mean, last update was in April, so it's not that bad, but he usually spits out tons of fic.
No worries: ES's last activity over on Sufficient Velocity was... today, with the last update to Imago being in May. Seems to be distracted (?) by forum game stuff, heh.

Thread already exists, except from an actual forum member and not coming off as quite so spammy :-\

Sounds like fairly normal reality TV, to me. Someone would probably buy it.

More kosher, legality wise, would be a show about getting kids out of abusive homes, probably via extensive off-camera bribes. Folks would probably eat that shit up. Bonus points for kids that are sufficiently underage and can't object to being on camera, haha!

Hrrgg... sorta'. Part way through something or other happened that ended up with me losing a few turns worth of accounting, after which I just let it lapse. Upside to that, there wasn't actually too much killed in the later few turns. Scouts, mostly, with the occasional thaum or mound king of whathaveyou. Definitely broke 100 killed and probably at least 6.5k, but eh. Also, entirely too lazy to go back and reconstruct :P

Still, I do still have the first eight turns and part of the ninth marked down. Can throw those up, I suppose...

Of note: Everything's in a gold cost/number killed/total gold cost format. Gem costs are not tracked, ha, and no distinction was made as to whether what was killed was a commander or not -- everything was included, bodyguards as well. You can get the actual spreadsheet here, in .ods format.
