That... sounds like it was a good thing to do, then. If several champions were completely reliant on access to a single item like that to be playable, I'd say there was a problem that needed to be dealt with.

@ True (I'd quote, but...): You did the right thing straight through. Poor salve for the sting of the unappreciative, but... you did what you should have. Helped to the extent you should have. That others acted the way they did and paid for it... know it probably doesn't help much, but that's on them, not you. Hopefully the rest of the people involved figure that out at some point :-\

For one person who is happy in life, there's probably at least 50 more who aren't.
Mankind should stop being so selfish and die off.
You see what you look for, a lot of the time. Everything I've seen points to more people getting by fairly well, even in pretty troubled areas and whatnot, than not. People trend toward fairly happy/content when they're not, y'know, depressive. We would have died off a long time ago if that weren't true.

My brother has begun applying YOLO as a descriptive adjective.
Time to bust out the salacious pictures of octopi. As a good brother, you should support and enable his newfound love of cephalopods. Explicitly and continuously, until he dreams of octopi always, instead of only on the good nights.

Because the 20% one probably takes less effort, so you can go ahead and do that while you're messing around with the 60% one. Or the 21-59% ones. Continuous incremental improvement! It's a major business practice nowadays, might as well apply it. It can get stuff done. And in the mean time, stuff is better off.

I am not the person to answer. I don't know what the person meant... what am I psychic?
That... N- Neo. Sky was talking to you. Responding to the statement you made. Noting it wasn't an answer to her question. I... you, uh. I don't think a person has to be psychic to know what they, personally, meant. I hope not, anyway.

Unless... are you actually two people sharing an account? Did I miss something and the other poster was actually Noenivek or along those lines? Do we have a Neo impostor stalking the forums?

It's called a typo, Neo. It happens. Some folks either type out the bbcode or accidentally delete part of it while they're formatting and whatnot.

Hexyz... game, why. Why? You don't name a character Bigabu Beaze and then specifically draw attention to it. I mean, considering the character design thus far I guess it's not really out of place, but. But. This is the giant wolf man that gives out the game's equivalent of achievements.

Though now I'm wondering what the original pun was in japanese, hrm...

Idle curiosity regarding the state of RPGs on the PSP has led me to find out that... damn, but japan really kept them to themselves, this time. Haven't really wrote down the numbers but it's been looking like a 5:1 or better (probably better) ratio of non-english PSP RPG games to english ones. Which is just... I don't remember it being that bad on the SNES, PSX, etc. And most of the ones that did make it into english are, like. Re-hashes. Old games ported on to a new system. I guess the PSP didn't do well with the english market or... something.

... expiration dates are sometimes more of a suggestion than anything meaningful. They apparently tasted well enough to consume an entire jumbo bag worth, so...

Though re: Dinner: Just cook it up and shove it in the fridge or whathaveyou. It can be warmed tomorrow! That's the miracle of modern cooking. If you're already full, don't force yourself to eat more, as a rule.

Assuming that picture is representative of the situation, I'm considerably more concerned by the fact they're letting presumably on-duty police offices wear heels. Because, y'know. Short skirt's easy to run in, if you're not too concerned about dignity. Heels, less so.

Keep in mind though, that any system which makes it feasible for Greens to win seats is also liable to make it feasible for far-right parties to win seats.
Honestly, that's fine. I might think most of them are absolute nutjobs and a great deal should probably be in jail for some of what they propose (mostly the bigotry and disenfranchisement/corruption stuff they like to pull, off the top of my head), but if we're going to do this democracy thing they should get due representation -- their vote and representation shouldn't be buried under FPTP bullshit any more than mine should.

As is, when a left candidate in their area gets elected, they lose representation and have their vote effectively stolen from them just the same as a leftie does when a right-wing candidate wins their area. It would be really goddamn nice if that weren't so. Changing from the FPTP system might not be a silver bullet, but it would damn sure be a nice 9mm to the knee or something.

It'd be really nice. I'd love to be able to cast a vote for someone besides evildee and evildum knowing it wasn't going to make things easier for whichever the (apparent) worse of them is to win. Also be nice to have it so not having majority didn't mean my vote meant not only jack-nothing, but was in fact being shanghai'd to support the person I didn't vote for. It would give me a vaguely fuzzy feeling, right in the cockles. I don't even think humans have cockles, but such a change would generate them and make them somewhat fuzzy anyway.

Though I would think having a small fuzzy clam attempting to displace one of my inner organs would be rather painful. Eh.

One letter away from a final fantasy character. That person needs to change the first letter of their name to R. And then maybe the last name too, sure.

As for the rest of you, kinda funny that you all assume my political party is completely contrary to what I stated before in this thread, and , for that matter, implied that very post I stated.
Culise, no one said you were republican. The reason people were referencing republican policy in response to you is because the bit from RedKing you quoted as villainizing your position was specifically in relation to the republican party. Which means you were, perhaps unintentionally, specifically aligning your views on the subject in question with theirs, regardless as to if you're a member of the party or not. Which is why Mict and RK responded as they did.
