I thought some of the pokemon could talk, kind of weird that they used dumb ones for their gods.
Many of the legendaries are capable of direct communication with humans, far as I can recall, and it's enough of a pattern you're pretty safe assuming they all can, even if they don't for whatever reason. Arceus can, any of the psychic ones can (and I think ghost and dark, too, at a minimum?), fairly certainly more I've not personally seen.

The material in general is pretty explicit that more or less all pokemon are at-least human level (though often not human, so they might have odd or apparently compulsive behaviors relative to that fact) intelligences and capable of understanding spoken language. Very few of them are dumber than a young child at the worst.

It generally means someone that did something considered clever that backfired somehow or another -- the old lie about the space pen comes to mind*. Intelligent in an annoying or malfunctioning way, etc. Figuring out how to get through a locked door that had a long fall on the other side would be another example. Exactly what that entails is a moving target that varies based on occasion and audience, though.

*There's this thing that's circulated for decades about NASA (wasn't them) spending millions (one guy spent somewhat over a single million) to develop a pen that worked in space (not mentioned, a bunch of other extreme conditions) instead of just using a pencil (which had their own problems for space use, like catching fire), which was inaccurate on basically every level but draws from the same sort of concept as too clever by half.

If it gives you an excuse to go talk to the turtle pope, it's a good thing! One of the best things in the game, that.

Far as I can tell there's no restriction about prepping, really. Under certain circumstances (feeding the needy, elderly, or infirm, ferex, which has a specific carve out in the traditions involved) it'd even be expected. You're not supposed to ingest during the daylight hours and that's most of the behavioral restrictions.

The apparent believer seemed fine with it, so trust it was okay with whatever belief tradition they follow :V

I am puzzled now. I thought it was Ramadan?
My Turkish neighbor lady just brought me two (delicious) lamachun.

Perhaps her headscarf and saying 'inshallah' are not religious, but cultural.
That... should be okay? Ramadan doesn't have unusual dietary restrictions, mostly just the no-eat-during-day thing, and there's nothing there about giving food to someone else regardless. There's also exceptions as a general thing for some people. What's the problem?

That... is not what happened, and I'm not sure where you got the idea from.

Must be why the US falls behind on every reasonable metric over any first world socialist country.  Education, life expectancy, literacy, infant mortality...
... dude, none of these are actually true once you disaggregate. Do you really know so little about statistics? Pick just about any nationality you like, people from that nationality do better in the US than outside it.
That's a wildly shit metric to use, though, and I'm not sure why the blazes you'd turn to it. Of course people able and willing to move to another country are largely going to do better than their less capable or fortunate peers, the same results probably comes regardless as to what country they move to. You're saying fuckall about the relevant national capabilities and everything about the capabilities of a specific demographic that manages international travel ::)

But I'd say half way through the game and haven't had much an issue with anything
heeheehee

I mean, there's ways to mitigate a lot of the difficulty (summons are a big one, co-op in general really), but difficulty wise... from what I've seen of chatter by folks more familiar with actually playing, ER's got the hardest RL1 run of any fromsoft game to date. The curve is very different and there's a lot more tools to compensate, but especially later on the game will cheerfully throw some pretty impressively nasty stuff at you. So... keep on truckin', you'll get to see some mean junk eventually :P

This is apparently after russian military started rounding up and murdering non-combatants, though? Nevermind the urban shelling, the deliberate mining of evacuation routes, etc.

They're getting involved whether they want to or not, at that point might as well fight back somehow :-\

dream ended with going to some reletive's funeral, was supposed to have sone kind of space launch as a backdrop

eulogies start or whatever with the launch in the background, but. Problem part way up. It came crashing back down. Landed near the funeral, came straight at it (relatively slowly) as people were like, okay, time to evac. started moving away, crashed whatever is managed to just barely be redirected away from the gathering... but in the process it hits the casket, and shoves it off into the distance. space launch vehicle crashes to the ground then absconds with the casket+dead person

organizing next of kin kinda' defeated sounding just say, "alright, pack it up, we're done here. I can't top this. just go on home"

haha holy shit just saw lobo's bow only sister stabby arm fight

Apparently the bow just destroys the rot lady -- jump shot basically natively headshots her second form, and she largely just doesn't dodge it in the first form, too, so. It's wildly easier than melee, apparently. Took him like two tries, when his first run attempt took like 15 hours and the RL1 one took 3-4.

Ranged, especially bow ranged, definitely can lead to an extremely different experience in some of this game's boss fights, wow.

Slavery is illegal. And unethical.
But good points up into the end.
Slavery has an explicit carveout in the US for certain sorts of it, actually. So not entirely illegal stateside, nor in other places.

Definitely unethical, though :V

Coconut flakes are quite possibly my least favorite food texture, like, flat out. Out of everything. All of it. I'd rather chew on grass I plucked from the dirt. I've managed to avoid eating it so far, but I'm pretty sure literal shit would be an upgrade from coconut flakes, too.

Also largely dislike the flavor of coconut, so. There's no allergy, just copious hate for The Worst Mouthfeel.

the chocolate egg was not a peanut butter egg

it had coconut flakes in it

there were coconut flakes in my mouth

the taste is still there

the texture isn't wanting to come out

;_;
