They didn't (still don't, I guess?) have standards in regards to sexual orientation, and plenty of discrimination happens in regards to that. Which would be why they're putting in new standards, presumably. Or trying to, anyway.

Also the standards were needed before. Craploads of discrimination happened before folks pulled their heads out their nethers and brought down the law hammer. Bigots spend an inordinate amount of time trying to wiggle through loopholes, Sheb, and blanket, general language has a nasty habit of not holding up in court (or being twisted into horrific things *shrug*).

Well I instantly know from looking that it's, say, 11:30, but it takes me a sec to figure the last digit. I don't know if that's normal but I always feel slow if I can't know the precise time right away.

I don't like having stuff on my wrist.
Pocket waaatttccchhh. I never use them, and have more-or-less misplaced them (I know what house they're in, but nothing more than that >_>), but I own a couple of nice wind-up pocket watches. Neat things, I should probably actually use them :V

This is basically an instruction to any government agency that issues contracts to private companies to only issue such contracts to companies that don't discriminate in this way, or at least have policies in place that are viewed as sufficient to prevent such discrimination. So whatever standards of proof they usually use for such contractual requirements.
And yeah... I've never known anything resembling specifics as to what they look for, but from what I've picked up from folks working in regards to that (on both sides of the equation -- business and regulation*) the requirements aren't exactly monumentally strenuous. If you can't even manage to meet government regs for stuff like that, my initial suspicion would be that something is sincerely fucked up in your company.

*Primarily through a grant-writing parent, who has managed to bring a few hundred thousand dollars worth of state/federal money into the local school system over the years. This is the same area where one of the major towns has an african american population that's singular. Also some interaction with auditors and business owners and whatnot over the recent year or two. Shit ain't hard.

The sound would probably be incredible, though. If I could find shelter (and maybe hearing protection), I don't think I'd mind being in a storm with raindrops moving like musketshot.

Sounds like it'd be fairly amusing. Can't help but wonder if it'd be a good idea to just go directly at the source and adjust costs instead of finagling with custom sites, though. That would let you be a lot more versatile about where/who is, well, where and doing what.

How would you deal with the freespawn nations, though? Mod in low cost or costless recruitment for 'em? Units with dom or active summoning? Just disable the sad buggers? And those poor underwater nations... give everything amphibious, maybe, and just sprinkle water provinces around? Also maybe some caves. Somewhere.

Also, flying/teleporting/offensive ritual spells/etc. Honor system, mod out, let the shenanigans flow free, something else? Gods know one of my first thoughts with a blood nation would be to take my massive income, hire up a crapton of toad rain capable casters, and blanket everyone else's provinces with crippling income penalties :P

Similarly, anything with ready access to pop killing spells would just be, like, "Allz y'all get rekt, lololololol" and then walk into the center after everyone else has lost their entire income base.

E: Though in immediate retrospect, that might be a good argument in favor of cost adjustment instead of anything province based. Less room for chicanery.

Not particularly. About the most extra you can do is stealth a bit, barring burning some feats (or going halfling or something) and trying a bit of diplomacy. Conceptually, you could burn a feat (or go human) to pick up use magic, if you managed to get a useful perk wand, but... monks are kinda' punchy.

You've got a little ranged capability via chakram, but it's not exactly much.

I think this fits here rather well:
A TAS of the NES Mario games...all at the same time, using the same button inputs.
O_O barely covers it.
They did something similar with some of the final fantasy games, iirc. I think only two at once, but it was a full playthrough and, well...

Strong emotion = energy, and if emotionally disciplined, this can be done without altering control over actions.
Sweet monkey jesus I wish that was true. Strong emotion (except barring, maybe, certain sorts of happiness) has never done anything but bloody exhaust me.

Except you're talking more about breaking into someone's house to stop a spousal dispute than, y'know, calling the law or something. That's generally seen as something like breaking and entering, really. Offering help is one thing, but that's generally not what the bloody states have been doing. And frankly, as a critter from the states, I'm damned tired of it. We've been more or less at war, or at least bleeding money to fight other people's fights, for most of my goddamn life. Let. Someone. Else. Deal with it. If they need help, fine, they can ask for goddamn help and everyone can chip in, but it's not something we should be trying to shoulder the entire bloody burden of, constantly.

People's faces, on the other hand...
Bodies and movement/behavioral patterns, for me. And voices, I guess. I'm terrible with names because they're mostly useless for actual personal interaction, and terrible with faces because eye contact gives me headache so I tend to not.

... are they in any way related to a hypothetical kefkaburger?

Sounds like it's time to bust out the spreadsheets and/or compiler, then.

Plus, hasn't he been muted several times already? That seems like plenty of extra chances.
This. Critter was muted multiple times and probably warned more than that, with apparently no effect. From what I've seen in the moderation logs, there's been more chances given than normally are. GWG chose to use those chances to continue making the bed they're now laying in, and that's pretty much that.
