Then I shall recline further into my infinitely comfortable bedding throne* and call you a fool, fool.

*Lesser bedding throne, actually. I'm away from home, so it's only made of about four pillows, a blanket, and one of those giant pillows with arms on them. The other giant pillow (which is something like 3/5ths the size of me, purple, and wonderful) and second blanket forms the foot recline further down the bed. Normal bedding throne adds another couple of blankets and about five more pillows. On top of what the actual bed comes with. I may be a poor something or other, but I lounge like a greek god.

Those... things. The thin not!blankets. Bed coverings? Usually goes above the mattress, below the main blanket. Something. I dunno, they're all blankets to me. Might work better than a towel, if you've got one with a fairly loose weave. Similarly, window curtains, if you've got particularly light ones. Towels are actually fairly warm, in my experience.

can't you people just rest under a single blanket like regular nerdlords

That would be as asinine as only having one pillow. Instead of no less than a half dozen.

I've finally found someone else who sleeps with the covers pulled completely over them, head and all. I thought I was the only one...anyone else out there? If so, you should stand and be recognized in pride, for this is truly the superior way to sleep.
I have, occasionally. Fallen asleep like that, anyway. It doesn't last long, because within an hour or two I wake up barely able to breath and badly overheating :-\

Now, if it actually cools off I will bury every part of myself except a space to breath out of in pillows and/or blankets and/or miscellaneous other cloth objects, like some kind of strange mix between a patchwork hobo, the local clothing store, and a pillbug. Snug as a bug under a half dozen rugs and three normal homes worth of pillows. Also their towels and probably a week's worth of wardrobe. If I had a way to get air under the cloth mound (a snorkel, perhaps, if I could sleep with one in), I would totally close the breathing hole. But I don't so air.

Though mind, I don't pull covers up. I pull a second (or third, or fifth, or...) set of covers down. Like one of those hijab whatsits. Very comfy, much warm.

E: Though, as per Janet, this is able to happen like maybe two days in a year. Normally it is no blankets, because it is too ruddy hot.

No, no, it's good, it's good. I was just gonna' offer up a list that made the poor guy a gigolo anyway.

Though the questions are kinda' important, at least early in the game*. Even beyond, in the case of the stat changes and alignment decisions involved. Not that it's likely we could cooperate to min-max them to any meaningful degree, so... name, yes.

Don't know CK2 well enough to comment on actions, but I will say I would like to see Paragon of Virtue as an ambition (if not necessarily the immediate one -- getting hooked up would be fine for the near future) -- we should totally be trying to increase the moral authority of the crazy man cult.

First come first serve for the questions, eh... well, alright.

I wish to submit that we name this man Jill. Date of birth: March 20th, the day of the spring equinox.

Vehicle headlamps are the devil.

I'm entirely unsure at this point whether my low-light vision is terrible or too good. Either way, getting tiny flashlights shined in it every few seconds goddamn sucks. Equal suck is being functionally barred (at least if I don't want to be pushing extra risk on myself and everyone else on the road*) from driving near or after sunset, because I spend half the time nearly freaking blind. I mean, I can stay on the road and in the correct lane, but I have trouble picking out important cues, like blinkers and distance.

Other sad bit is something like half of the problem's just my windshield. Ruddy thing doubles or trebles glare compared to other vehicles I've been in the last while. Don't even know who I'd bug to get that fixed, and couldn't afford it anyway. Bleh.

*Which, unlike many bastards around here (/everywhere), I don't.

Adding milk makes anything drinkable, really.
Factually untrue in the most horrifying ways. Some things sincerely and violently disagree with the taste of milk.

As per the ninja, "some things" include many carbonated drinks. The main-line sodas around here -- coke, pepsi, etc. -- are absolutely vile in milk. Yes, I've tried it. It is horrible.

Showers with actual water pressure are the best things. You can scratch while you scourge scrum. So clean, and no itches, for the time being.

Jeez... awakening wasn't that hard... was it? It had a few parts that were pretty nasty, but it overall wasn't that bad, from what I recall.

Tactics Ogre is best ogre.
Eeeehhhh... it's great. It really is. But... I have to admit. I like Ogre Battle better. It's just... its battle system is my favorite thing ever, that basically bloody nobody has bothered to copy or improve upon over the years. Both the SNES(/PSX, I guess) and the N64 ones were wonderful. I really wish someone would get around to translating that one that never made it over here. Was on... some handheld system or another.

Did anyone ever beat any Zelda topdown without using a wiki? It's damned well impossible I say! D:
They didn't have wikis when I beat LttP for the first time :P On the actual SNES. It took a while.

Or link's awakening. I think they may have had them by the time I got around to playing the seasons ones (gamefaqs was definitely around by that point, at least), but don't remember if I availed myself or not. Can't recall how far I got through minish cap, though... have played it, but it was a while back.

Tactics ooogggreeee.

Though it's worth noting the original SNES Tactics Ogre game, or the PSX or PSP remakes, are probably better than the GBA game (The PSP one in particular seems to be a bit of a culmination of the game. Definite improvement, imo.). GBA one's still fairly solid, but it's definitely different. Also a bit smaller and more contained, though, which might be a better thing for a LP...

Agreed. Necromaniacal sounds like an interesting way to run a country.

I think some people actually do things during the hell time besides hide inside the air conditioned shadows. For some reason.

Also wrong. The two millionth post was Toady's. Even if it wasn't.
