Well... s'good to see you're still kickin' True, even if life's been kicking back pretty hard. Can't really think of anything in particular to say to that apparently rolling clusterfuck you've gone through, but welcome back.

Barring stuff that pops up as other things gets fixed, so far as I'm personally aware the only major ones left is... well, basically the diplomacy/alignment/hostility system. It's a mess that someone really needs to sit down and document how it all breaks. I'm... not quite where I can work on it, quite yet. It'd be really nice if someone preempted me filling the bitbucket tracker with issues related to it :P

Generally, no. At least not from what I've seen of a strong majority of feminists and feminist writing. It's someone that's working towards gender equality, for everyone. The whole female focus has just been because things are more unequal on that end *shrug*

Yes, the name isn't as straightforward as it could be, but institutional momentum, etc., etc.

How do you apply Dr Pepper to a steak?
Well, in this case, you just pour the Dr Pepper on the steak at some point during the cooking process. Like. Take can. Open. Tilt can. Nothing particularly complicated or fancy.

Iirc, there was some added before the steak was put on the grill-thing, and some added after, while the meat was actively cooking -- just can't quite remember how much in each case, or exactly when. In the end, most of a twelve ounce* can would be used between two steaks, though how much was just drank during the process I couldn't say.

*E: Wait, hell. Eight ounce? Six? Normal can size. It's been so goddamn long since I've drank something from a can I've forgotten what the normal size is :-\

Sodas in general seem to make pretty killer meat tenderizer/flavoring, if you can get the proportions down right. The not-so-secret ingredient the best steaks I have ever ate -- in over twenty years of steak eating, from cheap-as-can-be to fairly high class, 20-30 dollar steaks and everything in between -- was Dr Pepper. Cooked on one of those metal lattice thingies held up by a couple bricks, outside in the yard. It has consistently demolished the best efforts of every other chef, in every kitchen and on every grill, with a significant portion of every seasoning under the sun, I have to date encountered. Vaguely ridiculous, to be honest. Those were freakishly good steaks.

They were, to be honest, perhaps the sole and singular virtue my father possessed, those steaks. Probably drunk the method of cooking them out of his brain by now, but eh.

The urge to go "Eh. Why not?" and throw random things together to see what they taste like is often too strong to ignore. If you've not reached the point where you take two (or more) things you like have on hand and combine them to discover the results, you have room for improvement.

To date, the tastiest thing I've ever drank looked like algae-choked swamp water. It did not actually have any swamp water in it, but it looked like it. Quarter Dr Pepper, quarter pepsi, half blueberry minute maid. If you've done it right, it will be a deep green and delicious.

Also that bright orange sauce they have in american chinese places is delicious on cinnamon rolls and cheesecake, natch. Not so good with anything chocolate, though.

Had to scroll down several hundred images to hit one of a topless blue titlizard.

Then I made the mistake of actually scrolling down until I found something troubling. Whoops.

... yeah, there was the whole LP thing over in OG/PWYB, as noted. It... the hentai in it is kinda' subpar, but the game itself was pretty good. I would totally play more games like that. Alt-history/fantasy Romance of the Three Kingdom-style games are disturbingly enthralling in concept.

Steampunk warring kingdoms sign me the hell up.

I don't even remember if there are other planets in pokemon world, m'self. I would expect it likely that if they've got all that and no colonization, it's either a legendary screwing with things or some species of jackass pokemon. Maybe that's what gengars get up to in the spare time. Ruining space travel.

... can I just say I have a small place in my heart that will forever remember Fraggle Rock? Those things were great, too, though.

You have the internet, mr. wizz. The internet has all the ready-things ;_;

Well. Most of them. Many. Something like a plurality, I'unno, it's a lot.

... in personal happies, it looks like I'll have an IDE hard drive dock within a week or two. Finally able to strip my old laptop hard drives of their infinite treasures. Hopefully. I only half know how these things work.

It generally only progresses when you sleep, so far as I can recall. Might be a hunger trap, but that's about it. Hunger in Inc is less a clock than it is a resource you spend to rest.

Well... I enjoy single player, at least. The AI's not the smartest thing in the world, but it's not entirely braindead. Their tendency to just hurl hoards at you makes for some fun times knocking said hoards back down -- and they can still grind you down, they're just not nearly as tricky as a human can be.

As for MP, it's either PBEM (play by e-mail, if you're not familiar with the term) or hotseat, iirc, the latter of which is only helpful if you've got someone in person to game with.

Exploitable weakness being... well, if I'm guessing right, no less than S3 on your pretender, unless you've got easy-access S3 nationals. Otherwise, mind hunt* will be used to violently murder it. Seriously, on a pretender, if you go astral, no less than 3. Ever. Unless it's a very, very disposable pretender, because it's going to be disposed of. Immortal chassis, maybe? Well... maybe two, if you get a cap quicklike, but better not to risk it.

*40% chance to prevent per level, apparently. S3 or higher is guaranteed protection for the province that caster is in. Incidentally -- if you know S3 or better is in the province in question, don't mind hunt.
