How do you apply Dr Pepper to a steak?
Well, in this case, you just pour the Dr Pepper on the steak at some point during the cooking process. Like. Take can. Open. Tilt can. Nothing particularly complicated or fancy.
Iirc, there was some added before the steak was put on the grill-thing, and some added after, while the meat was actively cooking -- just can't quite remember how much in each case, or
exactly when. In the end, most of a twelve ounce* can would be used between two steaks, though how much was just drank during the process I couldn't say.
*E: Wait, hell. Eight ounce? Six? Normal can size. It's been so goddamn long since I've drank something from a can I've forgotten what the normal size
