So everything.
Gratuitous heat, massive amounts of drugs, and plenty of poor people*. It's a wonder Florida hasn't exploded in a massive drug fueled centenarian hobo blood-orgy.

*Remember: Florida has something like the forth highest GDP by state (GSP, whatever.), but around the lower 30s for per capita GSP.

My happy is that a friend recently gave me his old custom OS PSP with old console emulators on it and I learned of this crazy awesome game called Chaos Seed. :P

How the bloody hell does a W1 mage have an insta kill spell like that?
Is called alteration 6 :P

More than one of the schools open up some fairly nasty low-path stuff as you get deeper into them. Frozen heart's not even an instakill spell, just high precision AN cold damage (which yeah, if your seraph was wearing armor of virtue, is probably what caused it to twig out). There are multiple actual instakill spells, some of them -- like the mentioned magic duel, or stuff like disintegrate -- coming in as low as one or two levels in a path.

I remember in Morrowind, I could ACTUALLY jump on everything. Icarian Flight scrolls[They boost acrobatics by 10000 or something ridiculous] let me travel all the way across the continent. Good ol days...
Or just use the good ol' soultrap glitch and give yourself 10k acrobatics all the time.

Makes the game borderline unplayable but by the gods you could jump.

... or just be more reasonable and give yourself less than that, so you can jump up mountains but won't get yourself stuck in ceilings.

Is known as the Gathering of the Four and the One, in my area. The One is Chaos Seed.

...what are the other ones?
the other ones are the other ones

Currently don't give a damn which ones they are. They are the other four. Chaos Seed is one of the five.

Maybe. Just. Wild suggestion, yes. Actually try it? Is thought. Game is free. You might find actually playing it is different than... whatever assumptions you're making now. Won't know until you actually try. Is fun enough even if you don't bother with all that fiddly junk. Seriously. Just... give the thing a go.

In practice, I haven't even noticed, well, anything you're mentioning. And I'm not even level 30 yet, despite having an account and playing (very) intermittently for a couple years now. Mind you, I'm not someone that would play DotA long enough or hard enough to to get called... cyka, whatever that means, or give enough of a damn about what my team was saying to not mute each and every one of them, so maybe I'm just not noticing it. Probably not. Whatev', really. Game is free! Giving try won't hurt.

It makes me vaguely wonder how possible it is to soak that coconut confetti stuff in, say, booze and food coloring. And then throw it at people. Why are we resorting to inedible confetti? We can do better! Looks like most attempts on the market are hard candy of some variation and that's just wrong.

Admittedly I consider that coconut confetti stuff to be literally one of the most foul things on the planet -- I've ate spoiled meat that tasted better to me -- but the theory is sound. Gotta' be other stuff out there with roughly the same physical properties and lack of taste like ass.

Playin' mostly just to play for a bit, so have a look at something one or two levels from the breakpoint of becoming one of the most ridiculous builds in Incursion:
It's a very simple concept, really. Take the school with some of the most dangerous DC-related spells in the game (baleful polymorph, ohohoho), and pump that check as high as it can possibly go. Well, nearly as high, as I'm not bothering with Ash or Sabine, but... whatever. Mechanics notes: Nothing can reach a higher intelligence score than a human loremaster. It's honestly a fairly simple build, but once you start turning adult dragons into rats... it gets glorious. You can even sideline necromancy for some nice offensive abilities (the drain line, mostly) and further minions (on top of the requisite summon monster spam, of course.). The div penalty is probably the worst of the negatives, and considering there's only one really nice spell in that (Detect Monsters, the most powerful ability in the game bar none.), well... that's what scrolls are for, ohoho.

Echo that. Alt-tab is definitely working better, as is CPU usage in general. Cheers, choose!

Think... probably sometime this thursday or friday I'll set aside a few hours and burn through the spell list again for some semi-intensive testing. Know there's a few things that were particularly wonky back in H4 (Wizard lock and wall of doors comes to mind immediately, ferex, if my memory's working.), but don't quite remember what all of them were. Some 11+ depth (challenge/nightmare difficulty) testing might be a good idea, too... stuff gets a lot more likely to break down there. Less of an issue for the normal difficulty, but it's a decent stress environment.

Also need to check on narzugons again when I get around to that. Unless it's been fixed, their gaze attack is buggy in the instant-kill-you-regardless sort of way. And... buncha' other stuff.

In practice, it means I need to buy way more books/bring more books on trips/etc so it's a mixed blessing I guess.
I would be either very broke, or the local thrift stores very sparse on books (far more likely: Both.), if I didn't have the internet and fanfiction. I distinctly remember reading every sci-fi/fantasy book in the local library system... back in like 5th/6th grade. On top of everything I could manage to acquire from other sources. 100k words is somewhere in the 3-4 hour range, with distractions. Half a million or more in a week I'm being particularly frisky is... fairly normal. It doesn't slow down much when it's print or stuff more dense than pleasure reading. Just tend to re-read passages a lot with the latter, so pages covered is lower~

The fact that it still took me four weeks to finish reading Worm kinda scares me when I start recommending it to friends though.
Eeee, I checked. Sorta'. It's at least over 1.75 million words~

At two hundred words a minute, that is roughly a week straight of non-stop reading. Which I think would be non-trivially capable of killing someone from sleep deprivation? See people? If you step up your game, you might be able to survive the supervillain that won't let you sleep until you read Worm from cover to cover. I would totally be that supervillain. Read or die, eeeheeeheeheeheeeee
