Pretty sure Sky Island in the manga had this one page that made up for any other shortcomings it may have had.

Or... maybe not. It might have been earlier in the series. It's been, like. Multiple years since I've read any 1P. You'd know it by the buggeroff huge ship falling from the sky, in any case. Pretty sure it was upside down, and had an inspirational quote.

... strangest thing buggered up about m'self is the phobia of boats, I think. No problem with water, mind. Love swimming, though it's been a while, and flying over it is fine. It's specifically boats. Ruddy childhood trauma.

Other than that, it's the relatively normal stuff. Mild paranoiac -- though I'd half-heartedly argue it's not paranoia when you are, in fact, surrounded by bigots, of which a minority actually are willing to turn violent when encountering a non-bigot -- and prooobably a genetic depressive (thanks, parents!) if the eternal exhaustion and related symptoms have been anything to go by. Don't get out much barring school/work/etc., but I think that's less some sort of neurological dysfunction than it is just not being interested in much that a computer+internet can't offer *shrugs vaguely*

Fuck you and your peristalsing penis.

...oh god the mental image getitouttamyheadaaaack. Medic! Medic!
If it helps any, I'm fairly sure we've got artificial stuff that does more or less just that. If we don't, it's one custom job away.

Also think I read something like that in one of Piers Anthony's books, once. Pornucopia was more amusing than anything, but it had its moments. And a sequel. That I probably sorta' wish I could forget. Both of those. I never even finished the first book.

E: Also, yeah, snakes aren't slimy at all once they've grown up. The texture of a living, moving snake is honestly kinda' awesome. They feel really neat.

Putting in insulation and drywall was not on my schedule today.

On the bright side...

* Frumple has gained +1 construction! Skills gained: Basic Insulation, Basic Drywall.

I should be able to be there, assuming construction doesn't get in the way. Multiworld would be fine.

I like the horror helmet if I can get my hands on one. Fear is good to have, though many such pretenders already have innate fear. I'm not sure if it's worth it to stack it, but I do it anyway.
It's totes worth it to stack fear, and even against stuff that's immune (dead stuff, etc.) the horror hat is actually a pretty decent helmet in and of itself. The extra head protection probably isn't going to hurt. It's a good item on pretty much anyone that's going to be seeing melee, if you've got the death gems for it.

Maaaaaaan. You know what D4's missing?

Gattai. How awesome would it be to summon up a fire elemental, summon up an air elemental, and then watch as they slam into each other and turn into a Raging Sirocco? Trigger for adjacent enemy of a particular ID, probably a battlefield one, too. Maybe even a check flag for surrounding abilities -- demon dog that turns into frothing doomtitan when near mindless enemies? Yessss...

I've been eyeing quite a few nations lately, not sure which will get some good MP time next. Monkeys of all ages look fun with their cheap plentiful S mages and strong sacreds. LA Midgård, T'ien Ch'i and Gath all look very appealing too.
LA Mid has a delicious early game, iirc. Skinshifters steamroll a great deal of things until mage support really starts rolling in, and by that point you've got your own leverages. I... I'll admit I'm kinda' terrible with them past that point, though.

Mild sedatives whenever sexual desire arises and counseling to curb destructive impulses, and I quote.
If you're actually acting on destructive impulses, counseling may actually be useful, yes! But BDSM is pretty much definitely not an expression of destructive impulses unless someone is doing something incredibly wrong.

Sedatives to counteract sexual desires sounds like a recipe for a goddamn disaster, though, and I would be looking at a shrink with incredible askance if they suggested something like that.

Quite possibly followed by a civil suit for malpractice because that's old time insane asylum shit (read: Both ineffective and massively harmful to the patient). Especially considering prescribing a sedative instead of an actual anaphrodisiac for something like that is just... what the hell is that critter thinking?

I like my stuff in one piece. I like other people's stuff in one piece, too. No throwing.

I won't.

Actually, I'll be wishing it would hit negatives, but I'll be content with below 40F. Which will happen like, two days. Ruddy swamp.

I've noticed that when someone online get sick, the other people there seem to start getting sick as well.
Conspiracy?
Clearly illnesses can travel through the internet.

I mean, Obviously.
Or the whole season change thing. Allergies and whatnot. Somewhat similar environmental changes over a wide geographic area. Especially for those of us coming up onto spring, season of gratuitous plant bukkake, bringer of reproductive material assaulted immune systems.

E: P.S. To hell with Spring. And summer, and most of fall.

Hmm...? That's more or less my mondays and wednesday, except it's 07:30-16:00, though the last four hours is spent tutoring other students. If there are no nice chairs, consider bringing one. Or a pillow or something. Get y'self comfy. Also probably bring food. You've got plenty of time until noon to cook something.
