The problem with Q farming in utter safety is, y'know, you fall behind. Kinda' badly. Same thing happens with dudes like Mundo -- awesome Q for farming, but still not fast enough. You get outpaced, and by the time you can get lichbane, any enemy worth a damn (and like 50% of those not) will be at the point they can just lolroll all over your face and then proceed to gut your team with their four buddies. Or just spends the whole game on your side of the minions forcing you to either waste Qs on someone that's going to dodge or get smacked in the face. And if you do the first, get smacked in the face anyway.

And that's assuming the jungler doesn't notice the tasty slow farming piece of meat laying around. S'just bad times all around. Wouldn't recommend. Land Qs normally or play someone else.

... more like it's four servings, and from what I've seen those servings are designed to be something like a side dish -- part of a larger meal, not a meal in itself. Half a box will definitely feed the average person for a good few hours without much trouble, energy wise, from what I've seen.

I can eat a full box (Given that a full box is 7.25 oz. Yes, I know the standard mac'n'cheese box weight by memory. Know the cost per oz for the two cheapest edible local brands, too, roughly. Both are around 6 cent an ounce.) without much problem, though it has gotten where I feel a little overstuffed afterwards. Usually I'll stick something else in with it, and eat like half of whatever results and shove the rest in the fridge for the next day's breakfast or somethin'.

If you have Windows 7, you can also choose "additional clocks" and set it up for specific timeframes you would want to keep track of. Very useful.
Vista can too, apparently. Just tried it, heh. Wouldn't be surprised if XP had the functionality as well, but I don't have access to XP, ha.

Hrg. The problem with karthus is that he's basically shit if you can't land the dot mines, at least the last time I tried the guy.

... I can't land the dot mines. I actually refunded karthus after I bought 'em. Had a good freeplay go, was like yay DoT AoE! + global KS ult! -- but then I actually sat down and tried and it just fell to pieces. Ridiculously Q dependent in practice. M'bloody terrible with the guy.

If you're interested in 'im, I'd say wait for a free week and spend the entire thing seeing you can land the Qs worth a damn. If you can't, just don't bother.

Oh sure there are different varieties. I hate Red Delicious apples because they're acrid and the skin is thick and gross, and prefer Cripps Pink, Fuji, or Gala. But apples grown in California are just as good as apples grown in Washington.
If the soil conditions and growing methods and whatnot are the same. It's kinda' like saying that tupelo honey collected in washington is the same as tupelo honey collected in the appalach' valley. Note: The former is bloody close to impossible, since the required trees to make the stuff only grows in about three (southern) states, and the taste is pretty distinct.

I know I can't tell the difference between a specific potato variety that was grown in Oregon vs. the same variety grown in Washington.
If they're grown in the same way, anyway. I actually have had a few cases in the past where I've noticed the same sort of potato grown in different areas tasting differently. Soil matters! So can how they're cultivated.

Though yeah, if methodology and conditions are identical then product will be identical. It's just, y'know, conditions in different geological regions are different, barring specialty green houses and a great deal of effort. It can have an effect. Moreso with some products than others, but...

Man, as much as I'd like to say that's all there is to idaho potatoes, they're definitely not just potatoes. I've had a lot of freaking potatoes in my life, of many sorts from home grown to from other bloody continents, and there is definitely a level of quality and type difference between idaho and "just" potatoes. Mind you, there's other potatoes just as good (new potatoes are a food of the gods), and there's nothing really stopping local stuff from matching it (beyond quality control and methodology, anyway) and -- no doubt -- you get idaho potatoes that aren't very impressive. But they definitely trend toward a particular sort of spud, that's notably different from other sorts of spud.

As much as I often joke that cheese is cheese is cheese, the reality of the matter is there is very different sorts of cheese. There are also many varieties of potato.

Why would we force 'em out when it'd be much cheaper to just let Russia choke on a destabilized region?

S'mostly EU's problem, anyway. Let them deal with it. Folks over there want help, they can ask (though the Ukrainian government may have, already. Don't recall.). We should probably let someone else do some lifting for once, really. We got problems enough at home. No point t'going off and screwing around in places the locals don't want us.

I've seen TF used pretty often in the high level stuff I've watched. The whole near-global teleport and on-demand stun is pretty serious stuff, plus he apparently hits pretty hard. I've never actually played the guy, though.

Which is probably for the best. My map awareness is freaking terrible, and you kinda' need it to be pretty decent to rock TF.

He actually does decently enough top lane or support too, from what I understand. Did at some point, anyway.

Mm... if you're on windows, you can click on your little clock thing in the bottom right and select change time and date. You'll see your time zone, then, and what GMT value it is (I'm -6, ferex. EST is -5, if you're lazy :P), which would help people sync up with you. Also plenty of stuff online within range of a simple google search, heh.

Honestly, it'd probably come out to something like the UTAN -- United Trans-Atlantic Nations -- if there was a serious merger of that nature. Kinda' be surprised if there's not something along those lines either proposed or in use, actually. That acronym looks familiar. Maybe something regarding hemispheres if russia and co' got ate at some point. Then eventually you've got the terran hegemony and wheeee.

Divine matron of fornication, quickbooks just managed to somehow create a werfault instance that flatlined both my CPU cores at 100%. Looks like it's friday again, hahaha! This one's going to be fun. And by fun, I mean yet again my enmity for Intuit has increased!

+1 hatred, would salt the earth again.

Though @ nenjin, how the hell do you even manage to stretch a meal over two hours? After the first 20-30 minutes, whatever it is you're doing, it's not food.

Maybe it's because as the "Old world", we had the time to develop way more culinary traditions than you guys, and we feel the need to protect them.
... wouldn't the best way to protect a culinary tradition be to spread it as far as possible, though? That way if rocks fall and all the breweries squish in the home country, there's still plenty of stuff being made.

... insofar as I'm aware, there is precisely one place you would use two periods (command line stuff, backing up to next folder up in the hierarchy... or is that one period?), and it pretty much never actually comes up in proper writing. Which... I guess is where you run into the problem?

Yeah, yeah, I'm aware of that, but part of said family that gives it the okay consists of full-blown Southern Cooking Marms (and other opposite gender equivalents). These people know their cobbler, and have at times created/helped create cobbler for entire communities (many dozens of people, basically). They've got the credentials for proper evaluation :P

And yeah, I'd expect bad cobbler to be a hell of a black mark on a buffet's reputation around here. People love that stuff. So there might be different levels of selection pressure re: cobbler quality, I'unno. That'd be my guess.
