Joke's on them if they did. Can't get a retroactive charge like that to stick in civil court, if it came down to the brass tacks of it. Just shy of 100% sure of that, unless they actually had you sign some sort of contract beforehand (or cali law is pretty radically different from FL law. Which it almost certainly is, but this is federal/interstate level contract law stuff.). So... if it came to that, and the bridges are ready for burning, you'd be able to lawyer up and walk out. Probably have to drop the current school if it weren't yet done, but...

If, uh. If that's any comfort. The knowledge has helped me out a couple times, emotionally.

They've been making Zaku-chans since before the Zaku was even around, I do believe. It is a long and storied tradition. Anthropomorphize all the things!

Iiiiifff I remember correctly, you conquer liberate provinces until you run into the other race critters (don't attack! Talk it out.), then do stuff for them until they join up, at which point you get to recruit them. Probably need some diplomacy to make it happen. Something along those lines, anyway. Assuming my memory's not borked, it's been a bit.

Sister Siru, it's not so much forgetting as th'fact that no one wanted to bring oil and enlarging spells into this conversation >_<
You got a dirty mind, Frump?

Texas has oilfields. And everything is bigger in Texas (so they say). Therefore oilmancy and enlarging spells.
There can be but one thing linked.

Kick it int'overdrive. Go with ants.

Alternately, bed bugs, so that they become smart enough to know why we kill the bastards. It might be interesting to have another sentient species around that we humans would actually unite together in attempt to genocide, and those are one of the handful of species the chances of us finding common ground are pretty much nil.

Haha, seriously though just go with chimps and get it over with. And then teach them how we did it and pass the buck down.
wait shit no

There was a small thread, over here. Looks like it doesn't say terribly much about the post-release version, though.

"I spent the last 30 years living on a 1000 trillion metric ton rock, hurtling through space at roughly 1000 miles per hour. I have lived my life on the rock that falls and causes everyone to die. Your arguments are invalid. My existence has been defined by awesome."
That said Frump, anyone else on this particular ball of rock can say the exact same thing (assuming they're smart enough to know what you're talking about :P )
All the better. Awesome shared is awesome multiplied. Being awesome with one another is one of the better ways to be awesome to one another.

Also texas magic would include the hillbilly treant-things and we probably don't really want that.

Pretty alright, as rabbits go.

Just... keep it away from active lawnmowers ;_;

... huh. That first one... looks suspiciously similar to "a lunatic" I see it's more "a |unitec", but... still.

I forgot that La Mulana's quicksaves don't persist between game launches. Shit. I probably just killed the game for me - as much as I like the sense of achievement and exploration, a lot of the gameplay so far just isn't very fun in itself, and the thought of doing over all that time is just... no. I can't.
Yeah... usually find, when that happens, best practice is to stop for a while. Least a few days, maybe couple weeks, maybe a month or two. Let it sit, come back to the game refreshed and ready, instead of the memory of all that lost time fresh on the mind.

... and for what it's worth, I've lost multiple hour blocks of la mulana more than once (usually due to some sort of dead end, with last!save hours past), already, despite only getting to... what, maybe two bosses? Savestates would be really nice for that game :-\

Re: Other discussion, hasn't Flyme already said "No" to petty vengeance multiple times already? Not something that's going to help the situation at all, really...
