The netherlands are dead to me.

Fries go with many things, but not mayo.

... didn't toast it this time, but next time, sure. No grilled cheese maker, though.

And while I don't have any dark chocolate, I was planning on adding chocolate syrup for the next go. So yes.

I've... played quite a few of them, but what one calls "fun" varies, and all that. I liked the mind/pheonix knights (which are/were hilariously overpowered and probably not working in the current version :V), ferex, and the blood knight critter that's actually being updated, but I also like melee mindslayers and yeah. The glutton was glorious(ly silly), especially before it got toned back a bit. Also probably not working in the current version, haha!

Dunno when it was last updated, but the spell...sword? Blade? The arcane blade rework done by H-something. Was pretty solid. Honestly a bit of a shame it never got integrated with the main game.

Mostly I'd just recommend... trying them. All. Just to see if there's anything interesting going on with 'em. Which can be time consuming but eeeeeh.

It means exchange rate. How you'd live would depend on where you're at and the relative cost of things over there, which is a considerably more complicated formula.

... cost of living, in other words. Which is kinda' divorced from currency... nigh on entirely? Same <currency unit> goes different lengths in the same country/economic block, never mind other markets.

But no, currency exchange rates aren't really based on staple goods conversion or whatever, last time I bothered paying attention. Think it's supposed to be, or at least strongly influenced by, but I think the primary determining factor is... other stuff, these days.

As usually, the doctor can help.

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. I'm not joking. Disney's making a live action movie based off it.
Wow. That... that kinda' makes me want to kill someone. Whoever is responsible. Or at least maim to the point they can't attempt to do it again.

I... I guess I'll hold off incandescent murderrage until after it's done and people can cast clear headed judgment, but... damn. Right in the protective-of-childhood part of the brain. Watching people gearing up to utterly desecrate one's younger years is... it's a thing. Hope... hopefully it'll actually turn out pretty decently? Or at least not be a god-awful travesty? Might watch it a few years after it's released, I'unno.

Though if it does do well, I guess, what, tale spin's next? Line up the corpse train?

Yeah. This... this is why copyright needs to die after about five years. Maybe ten. Hopefully cut down on the whole drag-dead-memories-from-the-ground-and-put-them-through-a-cash-juicer thing.

... it does some interesting enough stuff, anyway. Warlock mod-thingy based off it is kinda' neat.

Still need to get around to playing something of Putnam's besides the DBZ thing, heh :P

It wasn't veiled at all, no. Which would probably mean any discussion that may follow should mosey its way to PMs or another thread, yes, as should generally happen when folks start targeting other people specifically.

Most of the hysteria around them I would suspect comes from stupid fears about Matrix-style "robots kill the humans and take over the world" scenarios.
Nah, from what I've seen most of the concern comes from fear of disassociation (i.e. it gets too easy to kill, what with the separation between act of killing and the one pulling the trigger), fear of inaccuracy (which may or may not be misplaced currently, and certainly will be misplaced going forward, but expect it to linger), a fear of lack of someone to lay responsibility on for excesses (lot easier for "programming errors" or whathaveyou to cause war crimes that can't really be pinned on a direct human agent), and the perennial fear of it providing tyrants or whatever an easier avenue to do their thing, since you basically need capital instead of manpower (or at least it further skews the ratio) to run drones, so it's easier for a small, high resource, group to do more damage. And yeah, the latter is something inherent to most military advances, just kicked up yet another notch.

Robots taking over is more of an AI research thing than drone tech.

There was an animated series done back in '08. Which is news to me and I want to know no more of it.

I believe it's a remake?
Yeah, apparently. Looks like it's already hit europe and a couple other places. Hits stateside on the 12th.

Mostly, just... why? Why robocop, of all things?

And what's next? FAKEDIT: I was going to say Lone Ranger, and then I actually looked and it turns out hollywood violated that particular corpse last year. Bloody media necrophiliacs.
