So far, best part about amateur orange picking: Your basically everything ends up smelling of orange.

E: On the unfortunate side of things, they don't seem to taste nearly as good as they smell. Ah well.

E2: Also, I reiterate an earlier point: Orange trees apparently produce a lot of freaking oranges. I mostly counted this time -- lost count around 50-ish with at least a dozen to go. Picked somewhere between 60 and 75 oranges (and one (1) lemon). Was... probably less than a quarter to a third of the remaining oranges, and a bit over half the oranges have already been picked. I'm now guessing there was somewhere between 250 and 300 oranges on that flipping tree. Citrus *fist shake*

Also really wish I had a camera. The orange pile sitting on my living room table is kinda' neat.

... Kayle's pretty capable of pushing like crazy safely, though, isn't she? Especially once she hits 6? MS boost, a slow, and the E, plus the invincibility...

I'unno, definitely one of my problems playing the game "well" is because the concept of not saying "damn the guns" is hard to really grok, especially when you've got a character basically built for it. I mean... why not? Burn the waves down, knock out the tower down, keep the pressure going. Get your jungler on the ball to keep ganks off if that's a problem (or have the jungler helping out another lane and letting something that snowballs better get kills in). Then start in on the other lanes. Especially if your hero's actually good at pushing, well. Push, damnit! The sooner everything is dead, the better, yes? Sure, maybe keep it in the metaphorical pants until you've got a few levels in you, but once you hit five or six or so start turning up the heat, yeah?

Or, well, when confronted with conflicting opinions in a game like LoL, try both a few times and see which works better for you. Probably the way to go, that.

For what it's worth, I've got a extra key for Starvoid I know I can throw in. There'll probably be some bundle leftovers/extra stuff beyond that by the time things are all said and done, too.

Yes, yes, I was aware of that. What I didn't know is that apparently the conditions thereto have been codified into a glorious pentagonal manifestation of explosive geometric immolation. Wondrous pythagorean pyromania! It is pleasing to my sensibilities. But I was totally not expecting it.

Today I learned of the Dust Explosion Pentagon. I did not know such a thing existed. It is as glorious as it was unexpected.

... Perhaps you're pregnant Frumple? .o

Squeezing the juice too much?
If so, I probably need to either call the pope or check the local hospitals/fertility clinics to see if I was admitted without my knowledge/memory, because the immediate physical situation would preclude such things.

Or perhaps aliens, I'unno. When the impossible happens, you stop calling it impossible and find out what caused it.

E: Though considering what's got me down is probably some some kind of stomach virus/etc., I guess I technically am sorta' pregnant? Just with a different species offspring. And their parents, who are using me as a breeding ground.

Thinking on it, virology/bacteriology is kinda' strange.

He means that even if he could be pregnant he's feeling sick all the time. Not just some in the morning or early afternoon. Since actual constant nausea in pregnancy is pretty rare.
Oooh. Yeah, that's considerably more clear. Half thought something along those lines, but I'm illness muddled and having difficulty parsing some things.

Also even if hypothetically my biology would permit being pregnant, it would be all the time.
... what?

Yup. Roughly analogous to the average baseball card.

Mm... beautification through vulgarity. The aesthetics of swearing. There's actually more to it than just meaning -- the feel and flow of the sound itself can get involved, and the imagery and combination of concepts being mixed about (above and beyond the meaning, mind -- the skill set involved in the creation and communication of such). The creativity of mixing harsh language in such a way that fits and flows well within the structure of the normal linguistic patterns of the region. There's a lot of fairly interesting -- indeed, I would even call beautiful -- combinations that are both commonly and uncommonly used. It can actually be pretty interesting, especially given how fluid a lot of swear words are in meaning and grammatical usage.

I'm not quite at the point where I could write a book on the usages of vulgarity in modern languages, but gods know some excellent and interesting ones could be written. It's an honestly fascinating subject. I'd rate it right up there with "religious" language, m'self, s'far as intriguing linguistic topics go.

I'unno, for the uninitiated/unaccustomed... maybe try listening to someone swearing up a blue streak in a language you don't understand. Don't look up a translation or anything -- just listen. Attend the sound's aesthetic merit sans meaning and then apply the thus formulated heuristic for appreciation to sound with meaning understood. Might be an possible way to gain insight on the appeal, if such insight is actually desired (and... why not? The more methods of communication available, the better, yes?). S'basically how I brought myself to be less annoyed by the practice. It used to be fairly offputting for me, when I was younger. Horizons have broadened, since, and appreciation has adjusted appropriately.

... this discussion could almost certainly stand it's own thread, really. Has... has there been one, before?

Less, actually, if you can drum up three chums to split a four pack between. Bit more than a tenner, that way.

Which is still like a week's worth of food but eehh...

Though, that said, some folks might not have the means to purchase online, or face too much trouble to bother with it. Which is fair.

That. That.
It.
It's fifteen minutes long.
And the loop, is, like.
Less than a minute.
That is insane.

Also disturbing catchy for something that is completely incomprehensible.

No, no, it's Warhammer elves. We're down with those, I think. Most of them don't really care about trees, iirc. Too busy killing people.
