... fairly sure we do that pretty regularly, actually. Just for only the (very) recently dead :P

The technique is yet limited!

I just realized.

It the teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles did NOT wear masks, we wouldn't be able to tell who they are.
Actually... from what I recall, there's a number of the comics (particularly the later/(more involved/mature) ones) that had notable physical differences between the turtles. You could tell the four apart just by silhouette, and they were recognizable even without the colored accoutrements. Still looked fairly similar (they are, after all, supposed to be brothers), but they could be differentiated.

... particularly considering there's at least one set of comics out there where Raph loses an eye.

Nooo... I'm staying consistent. Went with papa last time, too. Getting some confirmation that disposable regent meatshield daddy's on our side is a good idea, methinks.

E: We should totes make it a goal to try and set the dude up for a rebound with our pet witch, at least once we've learned her ways and can prevent any unfortunate replacement heirs from appearing. He's already confirmed to like witches, so I figure, why not?

Perhaps not so much. He's a non-Southern Baptist.
Ooh. Yeah, you might have better luck with that. I roomed with a fairly devout fellow from Michigan (homeschooled, even!) during one of my semesters and... it was pretty decent. Alright dude, would room again. Don't recall what denomination he was, though.

Talk to papa. Dude actually seems somewhat concerned for us, and probably needs to know about an assassination attempt regardless. Plus I don't think he has anything to gain by offing us. Probably.

It's... unfortunate, but a super-devout baptist in the area MSH is in generally wouldn't be a proper test for such things. It's not an absolute thing, but as a general rule they're... not what you'd call theologically inclined? You usually don't get much in the watch of discussion. Just yelling and whatnot.

Savagery or barbarism would seem to fit the <word> in that blurb the best, t'me.

I'd probably recommend going out and reading through all the Conan stuff. Might be something in there, heh.

... there's about a half dozen alternate campaigns planned, actually. You can scrum through some of the various development ideas still lurking around here, albeit somewhat unorganized. Though don't ask me where anything is in it, ha. Still, beyond the orcs, spiders, trolls, the tentacley dudes, naga, and I think one or two more have been mentioned at one point or another as possible campaigns to be explored after the base Maj'Eyal one is complete, assuming they're all still on the table.

Incidentally, the git's also a good thing to RSS if you want to see if any work's being done. Even when there's not a major update push, it's not uncommon for stuff to pop up on the git.

... does make me suddenly wonder if there's, like, a (preferably kept up to date) list somewhere that has all the feats of magic and miracles of human myth, lore, and religious belief, like... checked off. Giving sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, letting the crippled walk again... walking on water? Pretty sure we've got shoes for that, don't we? Could probably manage insect plagues like it ain't no thing. Too tired to make a humorously long list of science accomplishments that match supernatural ones, but... it'd have to be a hilarious list to look at. All that myth, wonder, and awe, now the realm of science fact and open to most anyone with a big enough pocketbook. Homo sapiens nothin'. We's homo wizardicus now. Or something. Science wizards.

Play With Your Buddies / Re: Expendable Princess [Weekend 2: Royal Rights]

I also had the most horrible Idea a cross over between this game and Candy Crush Saga called Expandable Princess where you start with a Anime Princess and the goal is to get her as Fat as possible...
You don't want to go down that path. On it lays parts of the internet no sane human would wish to have seen.

It's not paranoia if things actually fall out of the cracks in the wall when you whack the ceiling.

Does mean giving up all those other spells, though. Like wither. And wither. That speedy run spell.

... and wither.

Did I mention wither's pretty great? Tangle and/or petrify's nice, too, if you've got the cash for it, but wither's cheap and incredibly crippling. Great spell. Cheap, too. And no need for upgrades to get it.

I guess a map wide buff's pretty nice, too.

... my vote goes to talkin' to Papa. Our witch will be around, but given that one parent's already gone and you've got at least two things current in residence that's probably interested in regicide, well... might need to get the time in while it's still an option.
