Hey, any excuse to shout MARS, BRINGER OF WAR into a public space is a good excuse, right?

That takes me back...
... y'know, reading past that a bit and... I think it's just the hair, but... is it just me, or does Xykon kinda' look a bit like Tarquin and family?

Ok so... it's a 3 way moba?
Ok that's something new (as opposed to everyone just taking the map from DotA with barely any changes).
Nooo... that's not even remotely new. There's been three (and more!) way AoS maps* since at least WC3 days (though I forget if they gave it a shot back with starcraft or not. Probably.). It's a fairly old thing.

The apparently outside-battle bought items are an interesting twist on the current commercial stagnation, though. LoL's runes kicked up a notch, eyeballing it.

Kinda' AoS'd out at the moment, but anyone and anything introducing more of the older variety into the commercial scene is a good thing, methinks.

*Which all these things are until they do something to actually differentiate themselves from Starcraft/Warcraft 3 custom maps, s'far as I'm concerned :P

Which some have! Awesomenauts, at the least. It's nice when it happens.

Skeletons totally bang when they're keeping a beat. They're like drumsticks, only deceased and funky.

Yeah, not too sure what to get out of that. The transhumanist movement is... going to propel our species to become like unto YHWH itself, a pinnacle of creation nigh onto capable of toppling the very heavens? And... this is a bad thing? What?

Sounds to me like this Gillette fellow is a xenoloving traitor. Throwing in with some kind of extra-physical alien entity instead of helping their people fight against the abhuman. Shameful.

I've always kinda' wanted to see that, honestly. As I think I've stated before, North Florida would go absolutely bugnuts if it suddenly went that low and started snowing.

It'd be great to watch. From a distance. Away from the road.

There's just something exceptionally creepy, but very refined, about their products.
I know, right? That website was slick. Excellent sense of aesthetics, obviously very aware of exactly what makes their market tick. At least tentatively, that company would be an example I'd point to on how to exploit a niche market. Contingent on them actually making bank, at least :P

... okay, the Umbuster is kinda' awesome. Just... throwing that out there.

Wonder who first had the thought, "You know what? This knuckleduster needs an umbrella." though.

E: I'd also love to look at their financial statements. What kind of profit margin are those folks running?

E2: Wow, so that is what capitalism feels like. "Coat made from skin of stillborn lambs" leading to "I wonder what the profit outlay on those things are..."

That's hardly obscure at all.
*deadpan* Row row, fight... something. The merry stream, sure. Fight it gently. Damned cheerful water getting all up in my grill.

... huh. Apparently there's been a time limit added to the demo, instead of just an upper tech level boundary. Somewhat annoying.

Game remains... neat enough, insofar as the demo goes. Not something I'd buy at 20 USD, but alright.

... while true, they're still more reliable than third parties, who only get their information from witnesses (anyone who's played a quick game of "telephone" in school or whatev' knows how that goes). Barring direct audio/visual recording of the event, they're going to be your best bet insofar as reliability goes.

Naturally, though, you want several, preferably ones who haven't been in contact (even secondary/tertiary/etc., of possible) with each other.

Well... okay. Claiming the krypta temple when it comes up. Name it "Unmatched Carpets". I swear I'm going to get a Frumple reference in here sooner or later. Might as well add some layers to it in the process.

My work will no longer allow you to be absent for medical or court-related (outside of jury duty) reasons.
... huh. Are... you in the states? And how many people do they have working for them? Because I'm fairly sure if it's over 50, they're legally required in the US to give at most 12 weeks of unpaid medical leave per year (for folks that worked more than... somewhere around 1.2k hours? The year previous, anyway.) and can get into fairly serious shit if they fire people because of it.

If it's a small company, though, they're probably in the legal clear. Still. Non-zero chance that's not legal. If you care enough, there might be a local (/state/etc.) group that does stuff about crap like that. Fairly sure there's a federal organization or two that's supposed to look into stuff like that, as well.
