Hammers, lucky hits... are y'all sure you're running PCs? You've got a bunch of drunks and apparently copious amounts of alcohol. If this scenario doesn't call for arson and immolation I'm not sure what does. Sure, it might be only, what, 1d4 per round or some nonsense, but if they're already spontaneously failing reflex saves just to stand up, I don't think them getting out will be an issue.

And if it is, well, then you bring out the hammer. Gotta' be some penalties to trying to dodge a hit while on fire, at least for level 1 drunks.

Level 1 drunks only have like...15 hit points, tops. My kid with a hammer could do that much damage.
... By Pelor, what do you feed your kid! Even a warhammer only deals 1d8 damage. That's a hell of a Strength bonus.
Could be some kind of odd racial/class feat. Extra damage to larger size creatures.

... I hope you keep treats or something around, just in case. That sort of dedication may merit some degree of reward.

Bump for heimer update.

All I know is in my initial bot go, I was not unimpressed. Also those new(?) circle thingies make figuring out where to drop the 'rets just outside of tower range a lot easier. And... I, like. Never used the ult. New rockets are surprisingly painful, speed upgrade (it felt like, anyway) on grenade toss was nice. Rets seem to wreck waves a lot easier (plus three out right off the bat? Damn.). Just... a lot of good stuff, it feels like to me. Rets do seem a bit flimsier, though.

Still. Heimer got some love. All praise the dinging.

E: It also kinda' feels like the 'ret damage's scaling, if not base, has increased somewhat. Either that or those lasers are seriously doing some work. The 'rets feel like a much bigger threat against champs than they used to be, especially if you walk into a fully charged three stack and don't manage to juke.

Came out alright, anyway. Vocals kinda' reminded me of that fifth element opera thing, if not quite as impressive. Which is a good thing.

Did make me realize I apparently have no bloody idea what dubsteb is. That just sounded like techno to me :-\

That said. I'd totally dig dubstep rehash of Copland's Rodeo, especially the hoedown.

"None at all" would still make most people I'm aware of somewhat concerned. It's one of those things not oft talked about, but when it's missing (so to speak) people look on in askance.

You'll be fine with this if you have nothing to hide.
There's a lot of stuff where it's not so much having something to hide, as it is having things that are no damn body else's business.

Alternately, I might be comfortable with mutual spying so long as it also comes with a mandate making it legal to gouge the eyes out of anyone you catch doing it.

Haha, and if you weren't aware, AGTP did a translation. Great game, it is.

Mm... sometimes you have to improvise, heh. Couple desperate situations in ol' Incursion I managed to survive ghost (shadows, etc.) attacks by beating them to death with an enchanted shield. Other times I'd get through a desperate straight by going fisticuffs (with no unarmed training, etc.) vs. something that was immune to all the other sources of weapons I had access to (since invulnerability didn't work against natural attacks in Inc, hohoho). Don't recall if you could do that in the BG games.

Stuff like that is part of what makes the better D&D knockoff video games so great, really. We need more stuff like that. Always.

E: Though in retrospect, I kinda' wonder if all those poor wizards were embarrassed by it, the ones that survived. Infinite arcane power, reduced to beating incorporeal undead to re-death with an oversized magical dinner plate. Bet that didn't end up in the bard songs. Not the polite ones, anyway.

Pet iguana for a bit, pet boa constrictor for a fair while longer (both died to someone foolish getting control of taking care of them :-\). Had someone in the family that kept a very young alligator (fairly sure the statute of limitations is over for that one >_> S'been well over a decade.*) for... a few months, I think? Until it started getting too big. They're really cute when they're young and don't really try to eat you. Turtles of various sorts all throughout the years.

Reptiles make pretty neat pets, in my experience. Definitely less trouble maintenance wise than most mammals or birds (worst of it was temperature control, iirc), if less fuzzy. Still an awesome tactile experience, but definitely a different one.

*And if not, well. It wasn't me, and I'm not entirely sure how many tears I'd shed over the one that it was going to jail again.

just found a slug that was over 3 inches long (without me having to stretch it) crawling on the kitchen counter. Where are they coming from?!?!
Can't stuff come in through th'pipes occasionally?

The goddess of hookers may partake of the form those those she blows. The effect lingers, and persists across incarnations. By recalling the appropriate memories, Sirus may, indeed, become a T-Rex.

He doesn't, though. That would mean remembering exactly what the goddess of hookers was getting up to back in the Cretaceous period.

My Nanowrimo prospects is looking terrible if I can't even do basic grammar.
That has stopped very few Nanowrimo writers, from what I've seen :P

EDIT: So apparently the university in question has a rolling admissions system, November 1 is just the early action deadline. Even if I get it in a bit after, I can still beat a lot of the crowds. That's comforting news.
Not to, uh, worry you too much, but if the university you're applying to is anything like the colleges I've been in, well. Especially for more important (key pre-reqs, etc.) classes, it's not uncommon for the bloody things to be filled to the brim on day 1, depending on area of study. Sometimes within a couple hours of the courses opening. Doesn't necessarily mean you might not be able to get it anyway (people drop, etc.), but you might end up having to bug more advisors or whathaveyou in the process. Have 'em put you on notice or whatev'.

I'm... relatively certain they occasional do (/have done) stuff like that last bit? Hearing of someone that has to travel an hour or more to find someone that their insurance is willing to work with (/are willing to work with their insurance) -- when there's plenty of medical care providers closer -- is something I hear about... not exactly regularly, but often enough it triggers commiseration instead of befuddlement, both with me and anyone else who might be involved in the conversation.

E:I'm not sure, but what seems to be that might be a fundamental flaw in your reasoning is the apparent assumption (which I may definitely be misreading, it's late and I'm tired) that the hospitals and insurance companies actually give a shit about the non-fiscal outcomes of their decisions. Some of the ground workers may, but the ones pulling the strings... that stuff only matters strictly to the extent it impacts their profit margins, by and large. If they can pull out an extra 1% on the net by starving a rural county or five out of medical care for a few years, they will. If it means putting hundreds or thousands out of medical care or local medical care... too damn bad. Health care's not what either of the string pullers on either side are there to do, y'know? That just happens to be how they go about doing what they do, in this particular market.

And they've got spin doctors that put the Red Tornado to shame, both groups. These are people that fairly regularly completely wreck families and homes and come out smelling like daisies. Something as minor as starving a city or a few counties of service is basically penny ante crap for the medical and insurance industries.

... highlight the cells with the data, insert -> Desired graph?
Ha ha, good joke. No, everything is fucked. My time measurements are assuming the place of the enzyme variables, and that's just the most obvious problem.
Hrn... swap data axis whatsits? Input the desired data ranges manually instead of via highlighting (and then assign series names and whatnot manually)? Push comes to shove, rearrange the data itself so it plays nice.

It would be too late then anyway.
If you're truly desperate and willing to try a monstrosity, see if libreoffice (or whatev') will generate the graph for you and then open the results in excel. Maybe conversion won't slaughter it.

I mean, there's some annoying bits with how excel works with graphs but unless you're trying to do something rather fancy it's... usually not that bad?

... hell, push comes to shove, if you're still having trouble with it tomorrow, upload it to google or something. If I'm on campus, I could check the file and walk y'through it, more than likely. Or someone with actual home excel access could.
