« on: October 20, 2013, 11:24:21 am »Pasteurized milk actually lasts pretty long, at least until you open it, and I bought the last 3 gallons of milk almost exactly a month ago - I went through all but two cartons by now.... you folks must be using a different method of pasteurization than they have in my area, then. Even unopened and cooled a thing of milk lasting over a month, maybe a month in a half, is a pretty serious anomaly.
EDIT: I just checked, the batch I bought right now isn't supposed to go bad until April (again, if it's opened it's probably less).
Personally, I can't even manage to drink a half gallon before it goes bad. I've pretty much just stopped drinking the stuff because of that

Not without hunting up a recipe or whatev', no. I'm not terribly fond of it (I mean, it's alright, but... not something I'd go out of my way to cook.), so I haven't gone out of my way to learn how.

Skimming through video game novelizations, hum. Gives a bit of a list. A fair number of the major RPGs or whatnot of yesteryear (Various final fantasies, breath of fire, zelda... there's more, of course) have gotten the novelization treatment at some point or another. C&C has. It's not a terribly uncommon thing to happen among fanworks, transferring a game's plot to prose. Some of 'em are even pretty solid works, heh.

... eggs do pretty well cooked into a lot of other things. Eggs and rice, ferex. S'other stuff, too, but that's the only one I know how to proper cook, as opposed to cooking the eggs separately and stirring them in.

... yeah, I admit. I kinda' want to see what an ARAM game looks like with a maxed CDR thresh in it. How's it go again? Q ends up with a CD of 7.2 seconds, with 3 of those shaved off if it hits something. That's gotta' be beautiful to observe. From a distance. All hook, all the time.
