And this is why step 1 of using a computer not my own (and often my own, as well) for Frumple is muting the sound.

I do it even when the system in question, like, doesn't have speakers. Sound does no good, ever, on computers outside the one firmly ensconced in one's own domicile. Sometimes not even then. Mute all the things!

As for what happened. Sounds like someone changed the starting sound. You can do that! Fun can be had. Though yeah, it'd kick up before you could mute the thing, which. Ha ha. Sticking headphones into the system, just in case, can work, too.

I was thinking to myself the other day that if any country could afford to be isolationist, it would be the USA. Would you gentlemen agree with that assessment?
... in the sense that "No country can afford to be isolationist anymore", I guess. It would take a cultural shift more radical and sudden than pretty much anything we've seen in the history of mankind, and the economic/industrial/logistic shift that it would require would either take decades or completely collapse the country (there's not really a third option, there.), but the states are kinda' theoretically more capable than most countries of completely cutting off contact. In the sense that it'd still basically destroy the nation (unless the change was gradual over several decades, I guess.), but a century or so from now when the dust cleared, assuming no one walked in and walked over everything in the confusion, whatever was left would be able to start rebuilding using only resources within the border. Maybe.

Which is to say, if any country could afford to go isolationist, the US would be among those. And it can't. The isolationism ship has sailed.

Or, more precisely, you usually only see them when you reach the end of the search results. They're fairly common on a lot of more popular stuff (especially if it's something that can be pirated), they're just, y'know, at the end of several (hundred) thousand results. So you usually don't end up seeing them because you don't actually chew through several (hundred) thousand results trying to find whatever you're looking for. Google's search engine does a lot of de-facto censoring by just shoving some stuff to the bottom of the results.

Desert half flattened, glowshroom farm started up! Many deaths were had. Poor CD got melted, repeatedly. Was a nice few hours, ah ha.

Soli, they've been doing that one in particular for literally years. I think at least two or three at minimum, possibly longer. S'been around for a while now.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing something beyond concept art, yeah.

Especially some of the other characters. That particular style of doing eyes just... does it for me. So to speak.

Ehn. Weakness in the sense that it's other people effecting you, it seems t'me. When other people control (intentionally or not) your emotional state, then they are in a position of strength over you, at least in the emotional arena. Would be a way of looking at it. Weakness comes from a lack of control. S'basically what weakness is. The thing in question having their state of being being dictated by outside forces, and said thing's ability to resist that. When the state of others dictates your emotional state, then it could, indeed, been seen as comparatively weak in some way.

Thing is, weakness isn't necessarily a negative trait. Lack of control is lack of control. Whether that lack is a bad or good thing depends on other variables. Sometimes a thing breaking under stress, so to speak (since it's not really breaking inasmuch as attaching or whathaveyou, in the case presented), is a good thing. Vec's probably better aware of whether it is or isn't a good thing than the rest of us, heh. And even if it is a good thing, ceding that kind of control (or, perhaps worse, having it taken, as V seems to be distressed by) can indeed be unpleasant, in and of itself. Even if the results thereof are net positive, and doubly so when they're not.

Sooo... don't do that? Or just... sell them or something. You'd be losing gold or whatever, sure, but that's better than uselessly feeding the enemy, right? If what you're doing/have done doesn't work, do something else. If you can't run carry riki past a certain point in the game, then. Don't?

... use smoke screen from the edge of team fights (so you're not completely useless) and transition to invisible ward/aura monkey?

The annoying thing is when you ask yourself that question and nothing actually pops out. Plenty of things I like more than other things, but... actually like? Never entirely sure if I've ever felt that. Always been too tired to really go over the threshold in to what seems to be enjoyment. Bloody genetics.

Bright side, I guess. It's hard to settle for something less when most things are on the same level!

... you... didn't know the name of what you were watching?

Like. Some kind of strange shuffle option on whatever you're viewing stuff with? Some sort of drinking game? Channel surfing? How did that happen?

because you still get more enjoyment out of having helped them than if you had not helped them, don't need to be "aw yes I helped them", just not wanting the regret of not helping.
It... it's sometimes, like. Physically impossible. Not to help. For me. At least if directly confronted with something. Even when I don't want to. Even when not helping would make me feel a lot better. Even when helping makes me feel terrible, for whatever reason.

Conditioning is a hell of a drug.

Nah, teemo's doesn't stack. It just hurts like the begeesus. Maxed out, his E gives a hefty 50+30% AP scale on every attack, disregarding the DoT it inflicts. Fits bloody perfectly with nashor's (On hit becomes 65+45% AP scale. Add spellsword... 65+50% AP. Is a little wonderful, hoho.), among other things.

Extra hits before the DoT wears off does refresh the duration, though. Hitting more often doesn't exactly hurt.
