forecast showing a high in the 80s tomorrow

go away florida i want my meager winter back ;_;
Perhaps you’d like to swap your 80s for my below freezing and possibly 13” of overnight snow?
Yes, yes I would. Gib your below freezing and 13" of snow. Get on top of your house with a big fan and flap it all towards florida.

which is mildly interesting, what little chatter I've seen has praised the casting and basically nothing else, heh

That seems unusual...  I've eaten similar things with my fingers rather than stay hungry, but I found it gross at the time.  Having to grasp gooey slick pasta with fingers?
Like, if you really want to do it by hand and the slickness bothers you either cook them a bit more to dry em out somewhat (bake or microwave or whatever, don't boil), or serve with a generous amount of somethin' like parmesan cheese. Lightly bread the noodles, functionally.

If you're okay with slurping them up, just tilt the bowl/plate appropriately, maybe nudge a bit with fingers (or better, breadsticks or crackers or something) as needed. If it works with ramen it works with spaghetti, you just gotta' adjust things a little.

... the closer to realistic scenario is to just stop being silly and put the bloody forks in the plates instead of sitting on that nasty ass table causing confusion (synch yo' shit up, pastadawg).

Six years after :P

Deck Z was published 2012, the cod with zombies on the titanic appears to be 2018.

It just makes me remember you're perfectly able to eat pasta without silverware, tbh. Easier with a bowl, but still doable with a plate and you're entirely able to make that mess finger food if you're really hungry.

... not gon' lie, I can't remember the last time I ate pasta of any sort with a fork at all. It's been spoons for a long while now on that front.

It's definitely one of the highest quality postal services ad I've ever seen :P

It was pretty great for its time, aye. Remember playing, uh. Everything except humans quite a lot. Might have ended up playing around with mods after a while, I'unno. Looks like it's going for two USD over on steam...

Nah... swamp tea would be soda tea made from a combination of half blueberry minute maid, quarter pepsi, quarter dr pepper. If you make a drink with that combination, it will come out swamp water green and delicious. Best soda mix I ever made. Also the worst looking!

... never made tea with it, though. They basically stopped selling the minute maid in question around here at some point before it occured to me to make tea with soda, sadly.

Uh, anyway, today's wtf was that someone donated this to my library. What if the Titanic, but zombies!? YA book, ha.

if someone wants to keep going they're going to have to boil their miscellaneous liquids themselves

That's almost as good as a master's in paddleboating! Hopefully it'll be a weight off the shoulders, heh, like a kayak slipped into a stream.

... AcaPro? I didn't know you were pursuing a degree in kayaking, but it's nice to hear :P

*raises finger*

... y'know what, we got some decaf peppermint tea around here. Gimme like 5-10 minutes.

e: steeping has begun, can at least confirm it smells 110% like mint chocolate

e2: Also tastes like mint chocolate, so, uh. Its okay? Grandmother didn't like it, says it's too "something". Needs to cool a bit before proper drinking, but it seems to at least be passable.

e3: Yeah, this is pretty alright. Both components were pretty low tier quality wise, tastes better than either alone... which isn't saying that much, but my urge is to drink it instead of let it sit inside a covered cup for several weeks like I did the last time I tried chocotea, so.

Probably will make it again in the future, see if some visiting family likes it, etc.

Boil your lemonaid to make tea. The mechanics of soda tea expands well beyond carbonated masses of caffeine and sugar! Any liquid you can boil and drink without dying can be made into tea! Escape the shackles of hot water! Steep your tea in everything.

e: except maybe hot chocolate

green tea steeped in hot chocolate tastes remarkably terrible, just a fyi

maybe other teas? don't try green unless you want to taste something nasty
