General Discussion / Re: What would you do for a klondike bar?

I now wonder what would happen if you combined Pepsi and Coke...
Not much, iirc. They taste about th'same and mixing doesn't do much.

Either that or it came out tasting like children's aspirin. A lot of sodas come out tasting like children's aspirin when combined, for some ungodly reason. S'been a while since I tried it, can't recall exactly. But it's probably one of those two.

... anyway. Give it a go one of these days. Worst comes to worst, you can use the mix to clean off a car battery.

And I've suddenly become curious as to how many (male) truck drivers do their work in a dress. Anything to amuse yerself during the ride, right?

What I don't understand is why there still are so few criminals - prison seems to be preferrable to a life like this.
It's not.

Prison will also pretty much completely fuck any chance you have of a future, here in the states. Could say that there's no future anyway, but... yeah. Ex-con is locked out of a hell of a lot in this society, or at least has to deal with much higher barriers of entry.

Unless you plan on spending the rest of your life in prison and, well. For most people, in flat honesty, they'd probably be better off with lead twixt the eyes.

... burp influenced by hotdogs and rootbeer tasted of... sausage. My confusion is vague but pervasive.

It's particularly weird because it tasted nothing like sausage dipped in rootbeer. Which is pretty decent. Rootbeer makes for a surprisingly solid condiment. Sodas in general, really, for meats. Less so for potatoes. Unsure about grains, fruit, and vegetables.

Point being biology is a strange, strange thing, especially when you're somewhat sleep deprived.

... ah. Ouch. Good... good luck, Nada.

EDIT: Fuck it, it's not showing, so I'm just going to try to sleep.
It knows when you are sleeping~
It knows when you're awake.
It knows just when to crawl on you

Spoiler: That hat. (click to show/hide)
That glorious, gloriously impractical hat. How his neck doesn't snap in half I neither know nor care. I do believe. That that man is an adherent to the "Moar Dakka" school of bling.

It makes me happy. This man knows his ridiculously overtuned shinies.

Difference being the ones currently running things don't even have a facade of programming directed toward effective governance, and usually don't even have that as a tertiary goal, much less anything higher.

Baseline software suites for the current set is optimized for stuff considerably different, t'boot, so even when its members try they're doing it with a highly inefficient set of programs. S'like trying to make music using MS Paint or something.

... do kinda' wonder, though. Why is it always a single AI running things? Why not networked stuff, hrm? That'd probably make it a lot easier to deal with potential screwups, too... only have to stop or correct a portion of the system instead of the whole kit n' k'boodle. S'basically what we're doing now, just using really crappy software and hardware for the job.

They're... still moving like a human does. All the joints are working right, nothing really extra as that goes. Impressively smooth, but we've kinda' got awesome limb-things. They can do stuff like that! It's great. Try it out! Loosen up a bit, get wiggly.

The Dying Swan.

This is absolutely phenomenal.  Like, even if you're pooped out on ballet videos, watch this.  At least the first 20 seconds.
Note to self: People clap for wiggly arms.

Something much earlier, ha. I distinctly remember Link starting to ganonify. Got tusks, pig nose, etc. Wanna say it was from the comic stuff, hum.

I... I could swear Link gets a hold of the triforce of power, at least temporarily, at some point. I think... in the comics? Maybe the cartoon, dunno. S'been a while, could be misremembering.
