Untrue!

Some are never reported and/or interpreted.

If you're going for one third of people, the figure should be 33% *snort*
33.3333333333...%, actually :P The threes just keep on coming. 33% is a third of a percent less than a third, haha!

I cannae math.
No, no, this is what you do Fniff! The correct answer is, "I wasn't going for a third :P".

I... I love Indiefort? Wish I had any interest in the current bundle, heh. Hear awesomenauts is pretty good, but... don't really have the disposable income to spend on just one, hum. Even if it's a fair discount.

Still. Cheers Hemmingjay! G'luck folks!

Yeah, I was kinda' thinking that, but... unless it was two different skill checks or each act had different modifiers (which is possible, of course), you'd think the lowest that could roll up would be a 1, since the other one came up as a 20. If they were working off the same modifier and skill, it'd cap out at 19 and 0 or 20 and 1. Or 20 and some number higher than one I guess...

Unless there was more than a single d20 involved, anyway.

... how, uh. How did he score a zero?

It's definitely nostalgia. The FF7 character models were kinda' horrible. FF7 came about while gaming was still in the "3D is awesome but we have no goddamn idea how to use it" phase. Firmly in that phase.

It's like. They were better than a lot of stuff around that era and during that phase of gaming. Better does not entail good. Better does not entail not bad, either. In this case, it just meant less horrible. But still horrible. As SG says. They should have stuck with sprites for a while longer.

So should basically every bloody body else during that general time frame. Good gods, there was aesthetic monstrosities during that period. Still are in a lot of cases, where you see flat out and extreme degradation of aesthetic quality when a series goes from 2D to 3D. It gets depressing, because you see it happen time and time and time again and it's just... you'd think developers would have figured out the pattern by now, y'know?

Until someone makes a compilation post linking all the previous times this topic has popped up and people start just replying with a link to said compilation post* every time the subject comes up.

... no, no, people can use it against you still. Often without much effort, if they've got the right leverage and you conflict with 'em. They might not be able to hurt, like, your feelings or self-image or whathaveyou, but they can definitely hit you in the career, or workplace, or etc., so forth, so on.

Once you've established what you like to be the most, be aware of that, and what the costs are. Then react appropriately according to your goals. Pride isn't going to save you from career sabotage or corporate backstabbing, so that pride damn sure better be worth it if that's a consequence thereof.

Not that I'd really call what Vec did likely to result in either of those, but... yeah.

This is actually a very sophisticated drama taking place over the course of the Spartans' dinner in hell.
See, this might actually get me into the movie theater. Demonic etiquette and abyssal drama would be great. Nobody would do style like hell does style.

... except that it's grecian and grecian hell is kinda' boring. Still, the part where Sisyphus gets pissed and rolls the rock over the dinner table would be great.

... well. Horse tranquilizer is a powerful troll aphrodisiac. Suddenly I wonder what Neo's getting up to in his spare time.

... link could probably stand a NSFW warning... or not being posted... when the first image in the responses it involves is of anal beads in active use.

From the side, thank the gods, but... still.

That's an adorable little murderbeast.

Think dat's an orca, anyway. Close enough.

Yah, There Will Be Blood had... gumption. Decent amount of weight behind it. I liked that one fairly well.

And hey, there's not many other games out that there actually let you suplex trains. Nevermind charon-style path to the underworld grim reaper ghost trains. FF6 does. It's a worthy title ;D

Electronic noises actually are kind of one of my things, s'just... it didn't fit th'Stragos theme, at least not that particular incarnation of it. For me, anyway. If I had to put my finger on it, I'd say it... tore up the original bit too much, and didn't put it back together in a way that had the same oomph as the original. Broke some of the up-and-down I like so much about the theme. S'also a bit too samey, t'me. Several bits of it were a titch overused. S'like the bit at 2:25-3:02. Should have stopped at around 2:45 instead of doing another repetition of that whatsit. Stuff like that.

There's some sounds in it I like, and it's not exactly bad per se, but ahh... it doesn't capture the feel for me. S'somethin' missing to it. S'not on the level of, say, th'Sveldt.
