Not to mention THOUSANDS of enemy ships again and again and again. Later on, they weren't just MK1 or MK2 pipsqueaks, they were MK3, 4, and 5.It's... not as bad as you'd think, really. Give a few defender runs a go to get a feel for it
Also, we would have needed a TON of turrets to hold that off and protected the station extremely well. All of us would have needed to invest in that singular system. And even then, that wave was just so brutal that I don't think we could have held them off.

Not that the outcome would have likely been different with me there, ha.
Half the enemy HP (minus a little extra), double the number, and get rid of the freaking speed/range penalties (or at least the speed ones) and that'd probably go a long way towards making them more enjoyable. Then you'd just have to make the reward ships and the reward stations do something actually interesting and you'd be pretty golden.

It's no worse than most other fan-translations. Hell, I've seen worse official translations*Surreptitiously glances toward Capcom, lapses into a coughing fit that sounds suspiciously like "Breath of Fire"*
Lower back is killing me. Feels like someone is gouging my spine with a dull knife made of pain.Oh hey, I think I know that one. Might want to see someone about it, at least enough to pick up the exercise set they run you through to help mitigate the problems with that stuff in between the vertebrates starting to go tits up. Which, get, do, probably get better, if it's the same thing (and dull knife made of pain sounds like it might be!).
Fuck you, back. Get with the program.
Interesting concept, but it would probably never get approved for airing in the USA. Half the people would claim it's sacrilegious and the other half would claim it's shoving religion down their throats. And it's entirely possible there'd be overlap between the two
