Pffffft. Oh the irony, the day I buy turrets for the enclave ships in my single player game there's a patch that changes it, hahahah.
Helluva' change, too. Was already attriting down mk IV systems with a cap of mk 1 & 2 enclaves at diff 6, 7. Twice the drones, 20x the hp, and 150% damage? yesyesohyespleeaaassseee

Yeah... I know precisely nothing about the Inheritance cycle (I keep getting it mixed up with that sci-fi setting with the amusingly named AI ships, actually. Which would probably improve things in comparison, but I digress), but that fic's pretty solid, for what's been written so far. Would recommend :P

D:

Just noticed, while cooking breakfast, that apparently the grandparents had forgotten to empty the coffee maker during one of their last visits. I noticed this because, while I was cooking, I looked over and wondered what those odd white spots on the bottom of the coffee pot were. So I poked it, as I am wont to do, and discovered to my rather detached mild horror and meager disgust that the bottom moved, that wasn't the bottom, and mold had started growing on the surface of the freestanding coffee.

... it was actually in, like, the mid-low seventies (F) today. Vaguely mindblowing for this time of year.

Tomorrow, though. Back into the eighties. It'll get back to normal, soon enough.

And by normal, I mean you'll be back to being able to throw a chunk of meat out your window and have it land on the ground broiled to perfection (barring the dirt, and the fact the mosquitoes will probably grab it in mid air and run off with it.).

Export it to Florida. The one time it snowed here last year (maybe year before last, and it wasn't even what anybody would really call snow either, it was maybe a centimeter deep) it was such an astounding thing that somebody making a 10 inch tall snowman out of it was the top news story.

I'm sure some nutjob down here would buy that stuff for a mint.
It... snowed? What?

I do sorta' remember people saying it did at some point a few years ago, but I looked outside that day and there was neither jack nor shit in terms of rain bukkake on the ground. I think they were just hallucinating. It doesn't snow in Florida. Florida snow is know in other places as "cotton".

Not officially! Actually, from what I understand, things were still proceeding fairly apace for quite a while. Then the dev's creativity got highjacked by something and went off in a different direction and, welp, officially on hold. Better than not knowing, at least.

INCURSION IS ON HOLD.
So... same as it's been for the past few years, but official now?
Pretty much, yeah.

Inverse ninja, wtf.

In other news, I've been unmotivated to do anything, and not productive. :/
I don't even know whyy.
Quote from: Probably why.
I have an important test, AP Physics coming up, and I haven't reviewed sufficiently. And little progress on my personal project Dx
Sounds stressful, and stress is generally (note the generally) a demotivator par excellence. It's kind of a vicious cycle. Even odds if you managed to lose/deal with some of the stress factors, you'd find motivation and productivity increasing.

I guarantee you that nobody would click a link I posted if the linking words were "HNNNNG".
Well, it's not just a matter of it being a link. It's a matter of it being an unidentifiable imgur link. If there was something in the address giving fairly clear indication of what you're getting into, it's less of a thing. When it's just "http://imgur.com/gallery/eUI1NjV", that tells us absolutely nothing beyond "Assume the worst." That's also my default position for anything youtube related that's not expressly explained, and pretty much everything else along those lines.

The way the narrator inside my head reads HNNNNG, it's not something you emit when you see a cat.
As Grakn noted, note that space cat is a cat. Dude could just be staying in character. Doubly so when you consider the actual contents of the link.

Man, if there's ever a way to disincentivize clicking a link... that, right there, is it.

Battlefield 5: Tatooine Edition.
I'unno man, the thought of running around as a Jawa teabagging people and shouting racial slurs against the Hutt is oddly appealing.

And now for ever and ever Singapore is apparently a freaking clown car. How does it all fit!? It is a mystery to everyone! Giant asian clown orgy in a boxcar, international organizations have decided to recognize its sovereignty, news at eleven.

Kag, smurf's an experienced player who opens up a new account, generally for the express purpose of beating on folks not quite so accustomed to the game for a while. I think it DotA terms it's like a diamond or plat player (or, y'know, someone who regularly places in the top three in major tournaments or whatever) kicking open a new account so they can hammer on bronze folks/people just starting to play the game for a while. Not actually sure what the terminology for DotA (or anything, really :P) is, in regards to that, honestly.

Point gets across, I guess. Someone who starts a new account so the matchmaker will match them with folks less skilled than it normally would.

Mm... I'll have to drop out, I think. I'd have to stop around 10 CST (11 EST) anyway, and that's only about a hour away... not much time to do much in an AI War game, heh. 'Cept maybe a quick defender go, but eh.

Should be open again come somewhere around thursday or friday afternoon, depending on how the week goes. Or... well, the database whatsit on the first page is still relatively accurate, barring something unforeseen.

One day, Aklyon. One day, you too will face the wrath of the monkey trio and their tiny abacus. Prepare yourself! They actually hold up pretty well in smaller games, though. So maybe their wrath will be tiny and soft, like their itsy simian paws.

Ah, no outside help, then. Shame.

For what it's worth, just in case the teach hasn't mentioned it or you didn't notice yourself, this joint often offers a good starting point for dealing with most things philosophy related, insofar as online sources go. Hopefully you've got access to some of the actual academic journals, though. That tends to make hunting up sources much less painful.

... and if it's an ethics teacher and they didn't mention it, they should probably be bludgeoned. Lightly, of course, but still.

*eyeballs* What's the topic? There's a minor chance I might still recall something from my ethics classes and be able to suggest something :P
