So wait.
Australia is really a peaceful land full of creatures that hug and love you?
Well, yes. But only after a few drinks.

There... are some online transcript things, but several of the colleges around this state don't do them. You're legally required to have a signature in order to get an official transcript sent, which means that it's either fax time (<5 minute drive) or in person (>60 minute drive). Usually you have to send in a signed request to the college in question and then the transcript transfer between campuses are handled by the schools, either electronically or via fax.

Actually, neither of the schools I was dealing with today, either the one I'm going to be enrolling in or the one I was getting a transcript from, accepts in-person transcripts at all. You can't get a copy and then give it to 'em in person. Or, well. You can and then have the transcript thrown out *vague shrug*.

But yeah, you can print out a transcript request -- that's what I did. But then that had to be signed and sent to the college the transcript was coming from. Problem was the signature, not getting the request itself.

I could, uh. Maybe join? My computer's not terribly happy with the game once it starts rolling but it's not entirely unplayable. I've kinda' not even gone through the whole tutorial yet, though >_>

 Expansion thingies needed?

E: Or... not, I guess. I'm kinda' sick and barely conscious. If there's a go coming up with a bit more warning I'd be happy to throw in an extra body, though.

WTF of the day: Campus I'm enrolling in sometime next week does not have a single outward facing fax machine (i.e. one that students can use for, say, transcript requests >_>). Neither does the public library in the town I'm in. Which is kinda' amazing, because the library in the town I'm from does and it's, like, 1/73rd the size. 500 vs 36k and a bit. So color me a little surprised. This day is fairly loaded with surprises.

Made in Japan, so, uh. Probably not :P

Or at least the top is, I'unno. That's the only origin country thingy on the pen I've got. Might be something more specific on an actual pack or somethin', dunno.

22659
Combination happy and fairly thorough WTF: Needed pen. Last resort before giving up and either bumming one off the place I'm headed soon or going out and buying one was checking the car. Now, the thing to note? Any pens still in that car would have been in there for... a couple years. At least. In Florida weather. In an enclosed space. So yeah. The first pen I checked didn't really work. Not a surprise.

The second? The second was frakking flawless. Despite years of melting and probably a variable amount of insect nibbling. S'just... damn. Color me surprised and somewhat relieved.

So, yeah. I'm sure there's better pens out there than these things, but. I've never used better ones, at least for my handwriting. Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball, Extra Fine. I've turned entire notepads worth of paper into zen tangles with these things, and I can now tentatively identify them as somewhat immune to thermal/atmospheric damage. And inedible, insofar as ants, spiders, and lizards are concerned. Yay?

E: These things, though I have no idea why they're charging twenty bucks for what appears to be one of them. just suffered catastrophic reading failure and twenty for a twelve pack is about right, though that's fairly major overkill unless you lose them regularly. Four was getting me through about two semesters of college note taking.

Uh. Wow. Yeah, someone just failed their Knowledge (History) check. I think that was a natural one with a major penalty ???

Hehe. Told'ja to just keep at it, and glad to hear it!

I take back what I said about the turkeys though.
Dem turkeys! I always miss the baste stuff. You so crazy, B12.
FTF me. Now my tentative headcanon has the guy having a fetish for turkey basters.

... I kinda' wish I knew what the things looked like, after typing that. Could google, but... eh.

Oh... yeah. There's several Warhammer mods for Dominions 3. Skaven, Ogres, those toad things... few others. Several are pretty well done.

Yeah, just wait for it. The whole thing will end with the ultimate Jack-off of Destiny. It will be stabilicious. All the Jacks offing each other in a beautiful mosaic of Jacking. Truly the perfect capstone to media this masturbatory.
