Food time/family gathering/food time soon. All other issues involved aside, it's nice to have an excuse to cook what's normally six or seven days worth of food (for me alone, anyway) in one go.

*sudden realization that tanks are actually a lot like unicorns*

I mean... beast of burden with a large horn coming out the "head"? We should make some sentient tanks and see if they can identify virgins.

Hahaha, nah, a fair amount of the good stuff wrings out UST and relationship trainwrecks just as hard as more calcified media. It can be fun reading :P

Might as well be anything when you watch as much TV/anime/etc. as I do. Note: Very, very little. I sticks to manga (still not much) and fanfiction, mostly.

There's someone else who usually chimes in on this one, but Tiru... in the states, at least? The Hippocratic oath is not legally binding. Where it's even a required thing at all. It might as well not even exist, unfortunately.

Redundancy is often an administrative virtue~

Now, if it's a well handled administration, redundancy is used efficiently. There hasn't been many of those over the years, ha.

More seriously, I doubt the gov's done much to propagate that sort of thing. They don't have to. The crazies handle that for them with minimal intervention needed. And if people are drawing the wrong conclusions, well... far be it from them to attempt to clarify things. Especially when doing so has no particular benefit.

Hasn't the US Government done enough dickish things already without having to make up UFO and alien conspiracy cover-up stories?
*gratuitous pointing and laughing*

Nah. You're assuming there's some kind of upper limit to governmental dicking. There's not. If they run out of ways to be a dick, they requisition the invention and creation of new, more impressive ways to dick with people. It's like the Moore's Law of assholes.

But... but... powergaming!

I spent roughly half an hour reloading. I got it down to an art. I will be back game, odds be damned!
Yeah... look. If you're going to do this to yourself, do it right. Bust out the goddamn memory editor and just increment your max health/MP by whatever's needed to hit the max amount after you consume the potion. Same effect, roughly the same degree of scuminess (ha!), much less time.

Are you kidding? Most of them are, like, right in the middle of puberty or on the edges of it. What do you think is with these people?

S'honestly going surprisingly well considering you've given a bunch of hormone addled mostly-mentally-disturbed (to varying degrees) humans and another bunch of hormone addled psychopaths (some are getting better, though! And there's probably a better technical term for it but whatever!) incredible power beyond the kenning of mortal minds. And then threw them into the middle of an increasingly complex temporal+ paradox mindfuck. It's going well, ahahaha!

Technically there's no need to ever communicate directly with another human.
The doctor concurs.

Update seems interesting. Good to hear kinks being worked out.

What was Body of Vi, Grak?

Ooh. Homeowner's association. That... makes that post explicable. Msi's asking if there's any other DF players on homeowner association boards and if their DF tendencies extended toward it, with an eye toward potentially forming a group or discussion on ways to curb or usefully channel those urges in real life. I think, anyway.
