I'm not sure whether to be flattered or disturbed.
Draw your own conclusions.

... think that worked, anyway. Fifty-eighth second.

E: Though, being clear, it was intent neutral. I just remembered that ending because that's what I associate excessive chest hair with, now.

And then Max had a chest-fro that he could detach and use as pom-poms because I totally need to go watch that season ending of Nochi Guu with the trombone cat againbut it's late so I won't even though it is the best of things.

We're getting too fat, quick, start the CCCP back up again!
I thought the CCCP was still doing its thing, though...

So... ramp up FOSS development and support? That stuff's basically communism insofar as a lot of folks are concerned, right? Free software makes you slim!

One of these days I'm gonna sneak into some place and create a mystery.
Gods my mind just went horrible places. There is no way that can end well. Just... just don't. And if you do, stay away from medical records. Official paperwork in general.

Welp. C'ya cript. I'll miss the skeleton thingy avatar (not that I've seen it in forever but still, I think of it when I see your posts.), which I long forgot where originated. Have fun wherever.

E:And El Criptfeind, of course. Put a sombrero on something in memorandum, maybe.

Built in functionality such that it uses the anti-matter stream to etch a little smiley face into whatever you're aiming at. Then it explodes in the newly created face.

Finicky. I've only done one thing, and it was kind of a random one (Pilgrim's Eye) that I suspect was pitched to troll me with an explicit reference to Land card mechanics. Obviously, more mechanics than not need to be represented by something that produces a similar feel of play and has similar fluff, rather than something directly analogous (for instance, you can't have Draw A Card effects produce extra spell slots, but you could have Mill effects inflict mental ability damage and cause spell slot loss). Next, Platinum Angel.
Draw a card... why not have it return a spell level or let you free cast one of your current ones, something along those lines? Drawing lands would give you a day-length ability to tap the land for an appropriate effect*. Drawing other stuff would open up things specific to the draw... creature could be a random summon of level = mana cost of card or whatev'. Somewhat less hostile wonder effect :P

*Tap X mountains translating into freely casting X levels of fire/evocation spells sounds like it might fit well enough. Stuff like that. Non-casters could get a random typed spell effect (maybe at a penalty), casters draw from their known stuff.

Now I'm just kinda' wondering if/where the PnP MtG translations are. Should probably go hunting at some point... card game itself aside, the fluff work for MtG is pretty awesome, in my opinion. Liked some of the books, I did, and it's got a lot of room for good paper conversion...

23093
Huh. What's the conversion process like?

... also now I can't get the thought of squee exalting out of my head and I don't know if it's a good or bad thing halp

Yeeaah. I've been seeing colors-that-aren't-there in my visual field 24/7 for as far back as I can remember. If there's a better word than hallucination for them, the doctors I've talked to about it didn't know the word (though wikipedia maybe suggests pseudohallucination). Knowing it's happening definitely isn't an off switch, heh.

... nothing is an off switch in my case, honestly. 'Cept death, I guess, or memory loss. Couldn't report it in either case.

E: Though worry not, OP. I couldn't give any additions related to what it's called that someone else hasn't, but I have the same thing happen fairly often. It's very nice, and I wish I had a bit more control over it. Better than a music player, it is, for however long it lasts.

Sony plans to monitor a game's loading time to check wherether or not it's pirated. There's no way this can go wrong.
Ooh. For consoles. Yeah, that makes it slightly less hilariously stupid.

... only slightly. I... I don't think I've seen a cracked game that had a faster loading time, of all things. Now I'm wondering if that's become common in recent years or somethin'.

Someone told me to toast PB&J sandwiches. I have come here to tell everyone that this is a great idea.
Second only to using waffles instead of bread.

E: Well, in the realm of PB&J creations, anyway.

23097
Why? Oh why? Why me?
Sometimes it's not anything you've done, y'know? Folks of the sort you're describing have a tendency to take out their problems on other people.

Keep the eyes on the prize, DP. Only so much longer before you can walk out the door, disown them, maybe change your name, and never look back. They're only a temporary obstacle and resource, there to be used until you can stand on your own and then left in the dust. You've already long paid whatever dues you had for the good things they've done, if that's how they're treating you.

Though I don't suppose there's a 'net capable public library anywhere near, is there? Could always shrug the shoulders and use the internet there for anything sensitive.

Browsing the forums on an android netbook while I wait for my new lappy to arrive on thursday. I miss having a proper keyboard.  Is it too geekey to have chosen a new lappy based on the fact it had a numberpad, thus making DF easier to play on it?
Not even remotely too geeky. Numpad's pretty darn useful for a lot of things, not just DF.

Why the hell does everybody have cats these days?
Studies show they're generally good for blood pressure or somethin'. Purring does things to human physiology that's somehow beneficial.

Mind you, that's probably not the reason. The actual reason is that they're small, fuzzy, cute, and generally lower maintenance than dogs. And people like pets, for varying reasons.

... is iphone Safari as ungodly terrible as ipad Safari?

23100
Don't think so, but it's rather irrelevant in the face of Qwillin. Qwillin's too terrible to not use.
