The only thing that worries me is the 1 meal a day. As long as you're getting your daily calories you're fine, but the implications is that it really isn't. Also maybe add some poultry or fish to that diet. And more fruits. Your body is your temple and so on :P
Vitamin supplement's probably cheaper, and poultry or fish tends to... not last long. Same for fruits and... free floating? Unpreserved, though whatever means. Veggies. Frozen et al lasts longer, but yeah. Gimme dem nonperishables, I can buy those in bulk (for much less per unit) and eat for months.

But yeah, I've been running of a similar diet, t'be honest. Eat something cheap for the calories, take vitamins to keep from keeling over from malnutrition. It's way, way less expensive than balancing a diet through actual food. Unfortunately.

That is above and beyond the bare minimum of friendliness and teamwork, though :-\

Maybe I've been online too long or somethin', I'unno. Simple civility is generally something I'm pretty content with saying "Keep doing that" towards.

Yeah, definitely looking forward to initial magic implementation. I got a pretty heavy Masters of Magic vibe from the spell school descriptions you had on the blog, which... I can dig it. Dig it pretty hard, heh.

Hit the crash again, but didn't notice the command line thing to keep the window around, so I'm giving it another go. It's only happening after I get a skinning knife, so I'm guessing that's the cause. Hopefully I'll manage to catch the error this time :-\

That said, any thought on possibly starting the critter off with basic kit, possibly skill based? I'm stubborn enough to keep at it 'till I manage it, but it's regularly taking 10+ characters before I can even manage to get a bloody skinning knife. S'a titch frustrating, y'know?

Currently my critters are usually taking karate, hardiness, and skinning, to start. The former two seem no-brainer starting choices, due to the simple fact that you don't start with weapons or armor, nor are you likely to be able to drum up enough cash to buy either before you get kicked out of the starting town, so combat skills that don't require either seem pretty obvious. I might be better off going pathfinding, serendipity, or mercantilism for the third, though...

E: Geh. Running through command line apparently didn't work. Damn this bloody OS :-\

Pattern's holding, though. Consistent crash a few fights after getting a skinning knife.

Madness interactive, or something along those lines, I think. Fairly sure there's numerous of the little buggers and a bucketload of spinoffs, so which one it is in particular, blazes if I know.

23272
So, uh. How do you go back to town after you leave it? When I stop and leave, the initial starting area is always grayed out and I can't seem to go  back to it. E2: To clarify, even when I leave the place under my own power.

E: Also, skinning looks like it might still not be working? Does it need specific tools? I'm fairly sure I got the latest version... Ah, you do. Still need to figure out if it's doing anything, but I found one in the shop so alright. Bit more testing, though I did just have a crash :-\

... my new happy is that I didn't notice that connection until you three hammered it in a bit.

... Genji, huh. You realize you have to name the next female pokemon you catch Murasaki, right? Or just one of the varying appropriate names, I guess, if that's too much of a squick factor (which... yeah, maybe.).

Honor, hahaha. I give out friendly a lot, generally to folks that just aren't being an arse. Silence for most of the game and a gg at the end will usually net that from me, but more is good, too.

I don't do PvP, though (or at least not very often), and I don't give out teamwork for vs. AI games, so... yeah. Friendly is about all I ever give out.

Contributing to the derail, pennies certainly make it easier to fleece people for a few extra cent. Kinda' makes me wonder how canada's economy's going to function without the $0.99 fleecing. The businesses up there must be panicking ::)

Hahaha, no. I'm not sharing.

But... bring ingredients and I'll provide a blender and a back yard. Or a small gratuity for milkshake access, also acceptable. I don't really have enough resources to be very generous with my luxuries :-\

I don't have a recipe handy, but back in high school me and a friend found out that mars bars make for pretty good milk shakes.
Huh. Stick a couple in with milk and ice cream or just milk?

23278
Things learned in the last few minutes:

One. It's apparently pretty easy to make milkshakes, at least if you have a blender.

Two. There is a blender in this house, albeit a small one.

Bit late to go wandering around this town (mostly because I probably couldn't find my way back here in the dark, which would be... awkward.), but tomorrow I do believe I'll be sinking some of my limited funds into ice cream, milk, and vanilla extract. Thinking on it, maybe get one of those neopolitan thingies and grab vanilla extract and both chocolate and strawberry syrup. Variety!

Haven't gone that far with the house rule you know Frumple.
Hahaha, Frumple has no idea how far you've gone with the house rules. I don't even know the non-house rules. For all I know combat-drop traitor baneblades is actually a thing Tau does in the codex. My gaming experience with WH40k is mostly limited to the video games (though the pre-DoW ones, too), heh.

there is only two different tau HQ, one in Crisis armor (there is only a broadside), and the ethereal.
House rules, man, house rules. There's no telling what the HQ unit is :P

Or where. Or when it shows up. It'd be just lovely to have a traitor baneblade or something come falling from the heavens. Tau makes friends sometimes.
