Holy shit, why are all the F2P Games so amazing for the most part nowadays.
Honey n'vinegar, brethren. The best (if perhaps not the most effective) way to get people to give you money is to do something impressive, and then make giving you that money as painless as possible, while giving them as few reasons not to as you can. Quality attracts financial quantity. Sometimes.

What you're seeing is a business model, one of several that's currently competing for a (still fairly) new market. One of my preferred business models, t'be honest :P

Anyway, in the process of downloading. Last time I tried (during the closed beta), the only computer I had access to couldn't run it. This'un's a bit more game capable, so... we'll see. Sometime tomorrow, when it finishes downloading.

Remind me again, will we be able to drain lakes and dam rivers?
... sink in the New World?

And along those lines... I forget if it was mentioned before, but lasting geographical changes in general? If you manage to make a volcano erupt with one colony, would there be a possibility of your next one starting under a veil of ash and brimstone or whathaveyou? Stuff like that, yeah.

That'd probably be enough to make you sick pretty much regardless of what you were drinking, if you downed it in a short enough period. S'somewhere between two and three two liter bottles, if my estimatin's close.

What the blazes is this supposed to mean? Usually I can sorta' puzzle out acronyms, or at least google 'em, but I've never seen that, context is nonexistent, and google thinks it's someone's name (in another language).

D-cell battery?
Nah, just the letter.

That said, I will not object to a superfluous use of D-cell batteries, so long as it makes things more interesting.

As to garlic-D, I have no idea what that is, but hell, throw it in the pot with the letters and the batteries. Maybe we can find someone we dislike enough to make them eat it.

Though now I'm suddenly terribly curious if you can blend a D-Cell sufficiently to turn it into a smoothie. I mean, I'm pretty sure drinking it would kill you, if you could, but I kinda' want to know if you can.

How does one power garlic? I was not informed it was conductive.
The answer to your question is that one adds a d and the enigma of powered garlic is solved.

Sudden and disturbingly strong craving for garlic bread.

There is no garlic bread in this house. I haven't had garlic bread in, like. Over a year. But I can almost taste it, and I hunger.

They tell me that sometimes cravings for food can be indicative of physiological necessities (I get an incredible craving for chocolate after surgeries, at least so far), but I'm not quite sure what garlic bread indicates. Perhaps a premonition of vampires?

I eat plenty of bread, though garlic is fairly lacking in this house (one of the other folks here is to garlic what I am to onion), so... I'unno. Guess I'll pick some up next time we go grocery shopping. I do like the stuff, at least when it's done primarily with powdered (or at least really, really fine) garlic.

Also someone has been knocking one someone's door, outside, for like, the last five or ten minutes. At 10 PM. Person, if they haven't come to the door yet, they're not flipping going to. Or if they do after you've been yammering on their door for the last quarter hour, they might be leading with a fist.

You have to correlate both brain size and brain to body size, as a bigger body necessarily requires a bigger brain.
... does it? Didn't some of the largest land based creatures our world has seen have rather impressively small brains?

Let... let's meet halfway, here. Dutchling, have you considered the wonders of hermaphroditism lately?

E: ... though in somewhat belated retrospect, perhaps such questions are better suited for a different thread, I'unno.

Mostly bad luck, yeah. I do think stun res is slightly less common than it used to be, but it's still pretty findable in the early game.

And yeah, imperialist slaver midgets. Halflings are pretty interesting in T4... probably up there with Darksun halflings for good midget riffs, I'd say. You can always RP yourself as a rebel or something, though!

... though I do sorta' wonder what the blazes you play if you're talking about moral problems with the races. All thalore all the time?

Sounds like you hate the internet :P, or at least a large part of it.
The mainstream part is important. Relatively unobtrusive ads I have less trouble with, and if it's done somewhat tastefully I don't mind letting stuff through adblock.

TV ads lost their sense of taste before I was fucking born. And it's indeed more than slightly troublesome that some of their shit is starting to infect the 'net, but I can avoid that crap or block it with little trouble, y'know? Harder when other people are addicted to the noisebox and somewhat hard of hearing, but... whatever.

Yes, I hate a great deal of the ad-supported portions of the internet. My fury towards them has not quite reached infinite and frothing, yet, but they're working at it.

Go ghoul. Innate 50% stun res :P

Could also try halfling, I guess. They get a stun removal talent, though it's admittedly their forth tier so it takes a bit to get it. Alright synergy with AB, too.
