no matter what line you get in at the store, it will be the slowest.
IFF you're in a hurry.

It's actually kind of amusing, there's been a number of times I've let more than one person cut in front me (I had full grocery load, they had like... much less.) and still came out the line before some folks that got in lines before me did.

When you're zen, the world zens with you.Hahaha, not really, but you don't notice the time passing quite as intensely, so the subjective effect is the same.

Carpet cleaners in general, iirc, and a rag. And maybe a vacuum/steam thingy, if you're getting fancy. Probably take a few passes. Former's what it took to get the stuff out of the back of my car, iirc.

Ooooh.

Yeah, you kinda' have to like... do stuff to the skin. If you don't want that to happen. And the stench of rot, like. It gets in to things. I could see that causing some problems.

Now I'm terribly confused. What about squirrels warrants a room evacuation? I mean... they're edible (don't eat 'em myself, but several folks I know do), and you can make a hat from the skins if you get a couple of 'em.

Are... are you playing DC:SS?

... went to the ER because he got bit by a squirrel? I... I mean, squirrels can be pretty vicious, really, and I guess if the bite was bad enough, then... maybe? I'unno. ER seems a bit excessive for a squirrel bite unless it's causing you to bleed out or... something.

Dang is Taco Bell the WORST fast food!
Yeeeup. And that's coming from someone that doesn't actually eat there. Most folks I know that have don't really have much good to say about the joint.

Which begs the question... why were you there? No means to cook own tacos?

Ah... instant transmission pretty much explicitly breaks FTL, neo. LB's number crunching earlier notwithstanding, that's pretty direct.

... what counts as a heavy slow? 'Cause my immediate thought was "Gangplank." Minor passive slow and a 25% on the ult, but nothing larger than that.

Did you try Nehrim?

Nope, and it's not gonna happen. I'm ready to chuck these disks at the wall.
Nooooo! Try Nehrim. It's just an installer and has given me, like, no trouble outside of a rare CTD (which was probably my crappy computer's fault, really.). Plus it just needs the base game (though having the rest doesn't exactly hurt).

Also make sure you've cleared out the .inis or whatev'. Documents/my games/oblivion on windows, generally. Not doing that before trying something new can, like, bugger stuff up. Though I figure you already know that...

Anyway, Nehrim's kinda' awesome. That's all I can really say on the subject, I think.

You do have the drone warfare and consistent infringement on privacy et al, though, among other things. Obama's honestly kind of a mixed bag. I'd wager how he's seen by history depends on how the next few folks react to some of the more odious stuff he's done. If we end up with a(n even more) hellish police state based on folks coming after bouncing off some of the stuff Obama's presided over, there might not be much good to say about 'im.

Other than "Better than Bush" anyway ::)

Haha! I used to really like that tower, but your spiel made me realize it's been a long time since I got there (can never remember which option to choose, bah) and the last time I had done it was before rares were implemented. Man, that place has to be a goddamn riot now!

But yeah, it's like every level of that place is one of the dreadfell levels stuck in an area about the size of an adventurer party ambush (smaller, actually, iirc) only with less cover. Only it's leveled to eastern heights and there's probably a pack of Gs running around. On every level. No vaults, though! Oh yeah, and the boss wall walks.

Man, in retrospect that place is kinda' brutal, innit? It always seemed to be cake even without stair abuse, but I can't recall why, haha. I'll have to go that route next time I reach that point in the game, just to experience again. Shoeimp's shoes aren't as great these days, anyway :P

Well, DF got the blood rain... I guess meat rain is the logical next step to this lack of logic.
Ehn, it's... not exactly illogical. Critters from the sky is a thing that happens. It'd be a fair occurrence for heavy weather planets, really.

Dunno if there'd be a point to doing it beyond amusement, though. Depends on if the bodies did damage on impact, or if some of them actually survived or whathaveyou.

The occasional meteor rain of fleshy beasts could also be interesting, yes. It's not like we don't get the occasional corpse rain of frogs or fish in real life, so it's not exactly far fetched or whatever to have it rain bodies from time to time. Could be a special feature of certain stronger weather worlds.
