Gods fuck but TV evangelicals are apparently batshit insane.

They got some hella' balls on 'em, though. Been a while since I heard hypocrisy spat out so earnestly, and fallacies dealt out with so much fervor like so much candy. Not exactly a fallacy, but I heard, I think, three separate Godwins in a less than five minute period. I boggled. I genuinely boggled.

As always, I feel for the actually faithful when it's folks like that presenting their public face :-\

News reminded me about what had pissed me off momentarily a bit earlier.

So yeah. It had felt a bit, y'know, warm. It's November now, yeah, not supposed to be that. So I got up, checked the AC. AC read seventy-fucking-five Fahrenheit (~23C, I think). The heater wasn't on. So. Yeah. Turning the cold on in freaking november.

News said a high of 79F tomorrow. Bugger Florida with a superheated weather vane. I hate this state's weather with a passion.

Do you... do you heimerding people often? Even... even those you don't know well?*

Seriously though, I've been doing TT with Heimerdinger vs bots a bit, today. I'm trying to conceptualize how a human would do against the guy... I know they'd be more capable, I'm just not sure exactly how that capability would manifest so I can start trying to work counters into my play before slipping more PvP in there. Pretty sure they'd be more careful about dealing with the 'rets, but I'm not sure that's entirely a negative thing. Am wondering what the hell you do with Heim's E, though :-\

There's just... a lot of champs that the treeline pretty massively inflates their usefulness, because everything's smaller. The map's more cramped than dominion, it feels like, but built so there's somewhat less freedom of movement (and, of course, you still have to knock down towers, so you don't have quite as much freedom of objective). It seems to play pretty well with several of the yordles, Heimy and Poppy in particular, of the ones I've played there so far (Them and Ziggs is it, though. I did have a kennen do pretty good besides my Heimerding tidal wave.).

Minor!sad: Breaking in some new shoes. Semi-formal ones. Mon heel regrete. At time of taking the things off, am about another dozen yards in them from wearing a bloody hole into the back of my heel-thing.

I really, really don't like low-ish heeled shoes. Until they're well worn, they hurt. Mumblemutter limping now, gah.

Put on some weight and grow some hair and he could be both. Though that'd need an orientation change, too...

No. Delusional Belligerent Redneck is basically a level one commoner, subtyped vermin, size tiny.

24143
Eh. Not really. There's kind of a... paragon redneck, so to speak, that's less drunken idiot and more swampdweller that's, well. Can approach pretty decent. They're just, ah. A bit rare nowadays. Especially when you're away from the swamps and the mountains and suchlike.

Let's hope you're not failing a pattern recognition check with that plan, FK.

... I thought the trained bears on unicycles was the russian thing? They'd have AK-47s and everything, man, it'd be unstoppable. Assuming the bears could figure out how to fire the guns, anyway.

Nah, the screenshots were from one of the langrisser games (Langrisser II; Der Langrisser, technically, the SNES port of the genesis game, I think.) lea was using as an example. SF2's mostly the same art style as SF1, just prettier, heh.

No, no, get it right. The amount isn't limitless. It's just beyond the ability of a single human to consume in their lifetime, and probably growing faster than they can cut into the pie, so to speak.

But there's a limit. It's growing, and will continue to grow, but it's there. And there's technically physical limitations as to which point the sheer amount will cap off because it's ran out of places to put the infrastructure to store and/or create new material even if by that point we'd have fully functioning porn studios inside quarks or something and things would just be silly. But still not without limit!

Not sure if it's entirely limited to them, but PvP "arena worlds" or something along those lines (asteroids, whatever) have already been stated as an intended feature. There's no telling if it'll mean PvP will extend to less formalized areas, though.

So building destructibility may either not be a thing or only be a thing in specific areas. Won't know until we hear something more specific or they release something, I guess :P

Interesting little piece on the budget whaznummy. Why is often more interesting than what, I guess.

I'm mostly just twiddling my thumbs at this point. Did the whole early voting thing earlier this week. Wished to hell there were third party candidates worth voting for in races besides the presidential, but outside some local stuff, nothing on the ballot. I do detest being in a winner-takes-all state :-\ Not that there's much option for places in the states that aren't, so far as I know, but still.
