I sunk a few hours into V just a day or so ago. Not far into it, but I like the size of the battle fields~ It's not been that bad, so far. Definitely see how it was getting back to the III roots. Think that was the one that was trying to do that, anyway.

The other half of it is that I've sunk quite a few more hours into the recent(ish) King's Bounty games in the last week or so, which is like... HoMM in RPG mode, and quite nice. Not much else to say about things, heh.

Hope you can write with your other hand! Ahahahaha!

Seriously though talk to whoever's giving out the tests/report. There tends to be arrangements able to be made for extended time when it's medically necessary.

What... what is cerberus syndrome? Some horrified part of my mind is thinking it's where... things... suddenly spit in three.

And possibly start barking, I don't know. The thought alone is painful enough.

Laptop, starting up the process of filtering through OCRemix's first 1900 songs again. About two days (straight, no repeats~) worth of music! Gonna' take a bit, but it's worth it and an enjoyable process in and of itself~

Happy comes from hitting Syrup's Secret Stash. It was funky. Hee.

Bribing college students with food is honestly fairly effective. S'pretty common, too~

Anyway, don't have anything to add to things where I'm at. Most of the people running are at least managing to keep the alcoholism, narcotic peddling, or pedophilia out of public knowledge this time! At least that I've noticed in passing (which is a bit, since I'm currently housing with one of the town's former mayors but whatev'), in any case. S'pretty quiet this cycle. I think the illiterate dude's still on town council, but that's about the most unusual thing going on that I can remember at the moment.

Again, or is that the one that's already came up? Don't feel like wrasslin' with flash right now. Or actually listening to a politician speak*.

*I massively prefer transcripts. They tend to lessen the seething rage politicin' ramblings tend to incite in me :-\

General Discussion / Re: Voter ID required: do you support this?
« on: September 22, 2012, 12:53:09 pm »
Valid ID's enough. Just something that lets you be confirmed as a citizen and in the right area. Driver's license is usually fine. Photo ID and some mail or something (to show living address, i.e. make sure you're in the right place) would work, too.

Most of the recent bullshit I've seen regarding voter IDs is pretty much specifically (if not overtly stated as) being pushed to try to screw over chunks of the population. It's pretty damned detestable. Voting's already more of a pain in the arse than it needs to be, especially considering the rates of crap the barriers being throw up around it is nominally supposed to prevent.

I ordered more books. Goddammit. One of these days I'm going to crack and start mugging little old ladies for book money.
Fight the money-sucking physical media tyranny! Migrate to digital! Read free things! Bucketloads of them!

There's a lot of free things! More than you can read. By the time you're done with one work, at least one more of equal length and quality has been created and uploaded online! It's great, ahahaha!

Want something mobile, get an ebook reader or one of the cheaper android-type things. Just in books, it can pay for itself in a year or so in the amount you save vs. buying physical. Is good, yes.

I... I've yet to taste something marketed as an energy drink that didn't taste pretty horrible. Haven't exactly been sampling widely to find out (If I want energy that badly, I'll brew tea in a soda base), but still. Which taste good?

I don't do restaurant nachos, because there is always too much crap in them (olives? onions? green peppers? No thanks,) but I can eat (one and a half 16" subs OR 40 wings OR a 6pc bucket of chicken) AND about 4 32oz drinks without stopping, in about 20-30 minutes.  I am not particularly proud of this. :-[
There was a time (when I was even shorter than you are, now, MZ) when I could just about match that :-\

Eventually something about m'biology just said, "Nah." And that was that.

S'even getting so I can't drink as much, which is sad, too. Normally down four or five glasses of drink by the time I'm full on food, but it's getting where that's making me a lil'queasy. Which is sad, 'cause it's about the only way even remotely cut into profit margins (though you're not, much. Most drinks cost cents to pay for that $1+ glass, from what I understand. Markup is hilariously large.). S'getting to the point a lot of places are serving bottled water as default, which is... kinda' annoying. I can buy two or three gallons of water for what they charge for those damned useless things.

Hard to stop m'self from overeating when I'm eating out, too. Mostly because shit is so damned expensive compared to just cooking it I have t'eat everything I get. Unless I get a t'go box, which is what usually happens.

But buffets. Great gott in himmel. All you can eat anything that doesn't let you take some back with you. I get sick almost every time, and feel horrible when I don't because 7-10 bucks would feed me at home for like 3-5 days on the low end and I gots t'get the money's worth if I'm already participating in someone overpaying and this is one goddamn meal. Argh!

Seriously though, check with doctor, maybe. At least cut back on how much you eat, anyway. Don't go anywhere you can't get a to-go box (/doggy bag/whatever-lets-you-take-it-home) and use it after you eat like, half. Or less. Whatever's appropriate. I hit that point when I was younger where I suddenly couldn't eat as much, so... behavior patterns changed a bit! Leftovers are great, and good fodder for cooking into something else. E: It's like... warm it up, toss it in a bowl of rice! Or potatoes, vegetables, whatever your stable is. What is it? WHO CARES! THROW IT IN ANYWAY!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA

I tried to pace myself this time! It's really weird though since I don't have such urges to binge at home. Maybe the food at home sucks :P
Could be. I have no idea what your home-food is like, but restaurants tend to be mighty tasty and filling :D
Meeh. Sufficiently tasty and filling. Either me or someone else in the house can usually match, at the least, whatever they're able to pull out (though not with the time constrictions or conditions the restaurant chefs are working under). Restaurant just means not having to cook and clean, which is nice occasionally~

Well, riding a bike is like riding a bike; you never forget how.
Damned dirty lie. All it takes is a significant shift to your center of balance after a few years of not riding. Bloody back problems grumblemumble.

... how big is really big in this case? North american big or south american rainforest big?

Zeus spits, they turned soraka into a flipping na'vi satyr. Only genderflipped. What th'blazes is that bloody movie doing in league of legends?

Which... that'd be kinda' awesome, if they actually played up the whole debauchery bit. Probably won't. Oh well. Randy!Soraka coming to molest your trees. Poor Maokai.

And Vayne... maybe not the main skin, web. The rest of them, though...? That heart thing alone is just ahahaha [trying-too-hard.png].

I have noticed most of the really new splash arts coming in with the newest patch are... kinda' terrible, at least the ones I've actually noticed. Overly sexualized, maybe? I kinda' detest what they did to MF. But whatever, I guess.
