I can only imagine the thrower's final words were, "WITNESS ME!"

Cilantro is cilantro in english, too -- you got it right. Probably one of those words english mugged some other language for, really.

... actually checking, well, yes. American english in particular mugged spanish for the word, specifically referring to coriander leaves. The more you know! and will shortly forget!

Finally hunted down what PiSK and co. was covering with Horny.

... ngl, though, it might just be the more developed processing techniques or somethin', but I like the PiSK/Nastazya cover quite a bit more than the original Mousse T/Inaya Day version. It ain't bad, by any means, but... it just ain't got the same kick, y'know? Vocals might be a bit flatter? I'unno. Inflections are definitely different in places. Think PiSK mostly replaces the weird bubble thing in the original with like dirty horn or whatever that is.

Weirdest thing about it is the original seems to have came out in '98 and I just... wasn't aware of it, when it's something 1998 Frumple probably should have encountered. Never heard the original before today, though.

E: Also I clearly need to catch up on the xylophone sceneyes i know that's actually a marimba+other stuff shush

Eyup.

Also in all seriousness, if you're looking to precision shoot (or just recreational in general), you want longarms of one sort or another. Handguns are fiddly, inaccurate pains in the ass (more likely to be literally on that front, too, if you're not handling it right), but a nice rifle or shotgun is a much better shooting experience, if you're interested at all in it. Least that's been my experience, heh.

... just to check, is there something going on with dry water that isn't immediately obvious? Literally all I remember about it is it's a fun thing to reference when someone says water is wet.

Ticking seats aren't clocks! Even if they're really big.

Why would anyone feel victimized by an inanimate object?
Sometimes they're able to do things to people! Or animate and deanimate, or transform from/into something, or... other stuff. CoQ's got a lot of odd edge cases in its mechanics interactions.

consult your local librarian
plz no, I'm not on the clock when I'm here

Yeah... I'm not really complaining about it, exactly, but it's also been raining basically daily where I'm at for like the last... month or something. Pretty close to straight. Think I've heard mention in passing by other folks it's killing crops/plants around here, just too much water for the things to handle.

Would you notice your expenses dropping by less than $19 a month? Or a better question, would you change your spending habits to pick brands that would save you less than $19 a month?
I actually would notice that, for what it's worth -- an extra 15-ish USD a month would better than double my general entertainment budget, which is something like twenty every other month or so (spent almost entirely on game sales; most of my entertainment preferences piggyback off the functionally necessary internet access).

I've already (mostly, anyway) dropped brand horseshit to the tune of that or better per month, though, so eh.

It's a kaleidoscope of multicolored blobs with sprites and sky snakes flitting around it, on a backdrop of varied colors including the mess people seem to call blue!

... visual consensus is a odd one, tbh, since the lived experience for the folks saying the agreed upon word may actually be wildly different. From what I understand, most folks' "blue" (nor their other colors, for that matter) isn't constantly moving around, ferex. Other folks (and especially non-humans!) have various sorts of color blindness or other non-<human baseline> visual states. Etc., etc., etc.

Color in general and the interactions between visual experience, consensus, and reality, in particular, just isn't actually uncontroversial, least as far as I've (heh) seen. Not difficult to live your life without ever actually noticing the frisson exists, but it definitely does.

e: also the word is "color", tell a friend, down with the extraneous U!

Yeh, dat's Warning Forever. Took some googling to remember the name, too, but it popped up eventually!

New personal purgatorial hell: Keeping an elderly with dementia and perinnial itching from disconnecting their vitals monitoring wires, for hours.

Today. Today was shit.

More seriously... it's not quite the same thing, but hey, close enough, right?
