I still want to know what they have against Pitbull and who the hell Pitbull is!

Couldn't it be just for the hell of it? They might not have anything against the guy. That's no reason not to do it anyway. Maybe they just like Alaska and want it to have some love. Or just did it to do it, just to see if they could.

How the blazes does that even work, anyway? How do you buy sole rights to sell a particular method of food preparation in a particular geographical area? More than that, how the hell did they manage to convince the other restaurants to sell their right to prepare in that method?

So for summonspam, what do you need besides a party of multiple wizards/sorcs/cleric?

Hirelings that also have summon spells, heh. I guess there's a few items with summon spells on them, too, if non-casters with the UMD to use 'em wanted to join in. Then like, pets or whatever.

Have no idea how useful a strategy it is once better AoE stuff gets thrown around, but when the worst of it's the occasional shaman thrown lightning bolt? It's just a tide of flesh rolling over everything. Is great

But this... it wasn't even intentional. Just a couple of Druids and my favored soul hireling, and there was like nine or ten critters on the player's side. If you were actually trying... every player can produce at least four (them, hireling, summon from both), so a good five party group would be twenty critters piling on everything, unless there's an upper limit I'm not aware of.

Do.. do the players get to cause that harried effect?

Managed to get a little random partying in... changes the level dynamic ridiculously, it does. Also, the snowball effect from summon capable casters putting out minions, plus their hirelings putting out minions, plus whatever you bring in, is kinda' hilarious. It's just strange when the player group actually outnumbers whatever enemy groups they run in to.

It is kinda' strange t'me, though. Something like sixty percent of the folks i've played with so far didn't use a hireling, and of those that did only a few used healers. This boggles my mind. Maybe s'just 'cause I'm still fairly low level. Maybe I just don't grok why anyone except a warforged would be using anything except a cleric, favored soul, or bard...

It might. Depends on dependencies and how large the flash drive is. Also might have to tweak some things or pick up a crack or something, but I'm pretty sure you could run Terraria off a flash if you really felt like it (maybe. Not sure how net or whatever reacts to being mobile) so I'm not sure what would be stopping Starbound from doing the same thing.
