Sometimes I wonder why I bother with fanfiction and related unpublished/net published stuff, and then I run into stuff like this. Endevor justified yet again, huzzah~

About five chapters from finishing it off. Good stuff, good stuff.

Worked for me... I'd upload it somewhere else, but I've no bloody idea how to do that on an ipad :-\

Gamera one was amusing, though.

... north Florida. Tristate area (Alabama, Georgia, Florida panhandle) in general, really, especially the more geographically southern parts.

Except the ones that have been inbreeding. Which composes basically the entire rural population of the panhandle.

I joke, only somewhat.

Now south Florida... Yeah. They either come from out of state or out of country, to a fairly large extent. North florida is an entirely different sort of beast. We're basically two states stuck in one, really.

But we all know North Floridians aren't really southerners, so I'm not sure if that's any good as evidence. (They seem to mostly be people from new england who got tired of the cold and WANT to be southerners, in my experience.)
Um, no. At least not the ones I deal with. We're more a part of Alabama than anything to do with the rest of Florida or the snow birds. Panhandle has some (and only some) of that in the larger cities and near the beaches, but that excludes most of the geography up here.

And aye, dho.

Kentuckian reporting. Y'all is definitely only plural.
Northern Floridian. It gets used for both down here, though more often plural than not.

First was a bit weak for me -- techno part too repetitive for my taste in slower techno (OCRemix has me spoiled, heh) and the swing inclusion just kinda' anemic -- but the second was pretty nice, though it could have stood to be about halved in length :P Still, will have to get around to checking out more.

I actually absolutely adore swing (great (great?) grandfather I never met was the drummer in a circus swing band!) and love it when folks tech (if not necessarily techno) up music styles, so I definitely like stuff like that.

Contribution: Peatbog Faeries -- Scots on the Rocks. They basically tech up Scottish folk. Seem to be fairly well known, but a thread search didn't show previous mention... anyway, definitely recommend 'em. They've got some good stuff -- I used "Still Drunk in the Morning" (Couldn't find a good link, bleh) as an alarm clock for a good year, year anna' half.

Then there's Bajo Fondo which... I'm not actually sure what kind of shape they're in nowadays (got ahold of a dozen or so of their songs back like, a decade ago, been lurking around my playlists ever since), but eh. Near as I can tell they're basically tango mixed with (club) techno. Some good stuff out of 'em.

DG, yes. De is deep elf.

Aye... shoulder spikes curve a bit, too, at least two of 'em. Also, it's blue. Zaku don't come in that particular shade :P The weapon load out is pretty different, too.

Zaku do come in more colors than green, but that particular shade of blue is mostly a Gouf thing in most of the series that Zaku play a part in. Gundam likes to color code a little, sometimes.

As for the horn, iirc at least one of Char's custom Zakus get that, too. It seems to be a Zeon commander type thing (which, military wise is a little silly -- it's sniper bait, basically -- but so is a lot of things in gundam so eh.) in a lot of cases. The genuine Zeon grunt suits usually don't have the horn.

25856
That's a Gouf :P E: Actually, it's probably a Gouf Custom, since that's the one from 08th.

Being fair, it was a badass gouf that kicked some protagonists around like tenpens, but it innit a Zaku, heh. Pretty close, though, they were apparently intended as the next step up. Kind of a squad leader or low rank officer/NCO level machine to the Zaku's standard infantryman.

So... you could say you made a small gouf goof. *badum tish*

E: Goufs were pretty sexy too, but they had a sillier name, weren't green, and were a bit more innuendo laden. Still great, far better than most silly gundams :P

Fairly pretty. Music wasn't as intensely sexy as the lighting demo, but still very solid. Movement seemed pretty fluid, though the heads feel somehow off-putting. Still. Is more than seen previously. Huzzah.

I'm pretty sure I remember them from the mid-late nineties, so, at least a decade and some change. They're pretty persistent.
