Mostly mooks, yeah, but that's due strongly to the gundams' multiple mile thick plot armor. Think 08th's the only one I've personally seen that Zaku are pretty awesome in, but eh. I think they have decent showings in a few others, too. Zaku are great, but generally offscreen more than on. Insofar as fluff goes, they can usually pretty easily squash quite a few things, especially when they first show up in whatever series it is.

Or, to put it another way, the Zaku is basically what kicked the ever-loving out of conventional military (and managed to stomp fed mobile suits for a while, too) before the first gundam series started, and continued to be (or be the primary design inspiration for) the military workhorse of choice for a number of superpowers throughout gundam's history.

So basically they're awesome but author fiat screws them over in most of shows, with a few exceptions. Most importantly, they look hella' more awesome than the gundams themselves :P

is best Zaku.

But yeah. Zaku's one of the best mechs to come out of gundam, really. So much love.

12x giant bat damage is 12 :P

Which isn't exactly fear inspiring, heh.

Unseen horrors also have 10x the HP!

... which is to say a bit more than 20-50. Giant bat comparisons are kind of a "multiply by zero" scenario, heh.

Morrow. Tomorrow.

Also, there was a day? What does it entail?

Autoattack's probably most useful for polearm users, since it auto evokes the reach effect.

Everyone else, I've never really understood why to use it... bump attacks take the same number of key presses and offers more control. Am I missing something?

Of course, there's somewhat larger problems than savings involved with making police and prison systems for profit. It's just... it's not something you want to have happen. You make your system such that it wants more criminals and incarcerated, not less. That's not good, for some painfully obvious reasons.

P.S. The US's prison system says Hi. Maybe Britain can see if they can throw a larger percentage of their population in prison than we have. It's not causing any problems at all! One of these post script sentences is a blatant lie.

I got my final manuscript back for English.  They asked me if I wanted somebody to talk with though...

"Nevertheless, your manuscript is extraodinary.  A"

Why should I even bother with Engineering I clearly am a philosophical genius.
say something philosophical revolving around chickens that is 100% original.
If you ask any philosopher to say something 100% original, you'd be disappointed. For all of philosophy is built upon the foundations of earlier thought. If great men are small men standing on the shoulders of giants, then great philosophers are small thinkers riding giant chickens.
It's funny because it's true. Though... not always intentional. It's pretty much a gauranteed thing in philosophy that you'll have this awesome, incredibly impressive conceptual system... and then you'll start the researching, for support and whatnot, and find out at least three other people had the exact same idea, one or more of them probably from several hundred years ago.

What... what's happening in the picture? I'm mostly incapable of parsing tiles. And a fair chunk of it's just plain cut off for me :(

Bloody PoS iPad browser :-\

Th'dark sun elves are pretty great. Their halflings, too.

ToME 4's elves aren't too bad, either. One's somewhat close to the tree hugger stereotype (thalore -- being isolationists, they're the closest T4 has to a good side), but the rest are pretty delightful (one naga-mutated, one basically magic addicted -- and more or less cracked the world open at one point --another a mix between demon worshippers and "corrupters," which takes some lore background to explain...). Amusingly, t4's (imperialist slaver) halflings are nice, too~ They're particularly funny, because pretty much everything screwed up in the world is directly their fault. It's a nice inversion.

... and the Mongol orcs. And the eventual steampunk desert orcs.

But yeah /T4 fanboy tangent. Maybe. I really do like that game's lore :P

Rec build technic was simply flawless for me. Download, run, forget, took less than ten minutes.

Manually getting everything together and working took over two hours, multiple tutorials and carefully followed installation instructions, and a good two dozen assorted crashes. Then another hour and a half (many more crashes!) to realize I needed to force minecraft to not allocate more than 256 ram. Also had to strip out some things that just didn't bloody work, and I'm still getting the occasional annoying oddity with my current build (the technic build runs, again, flawlessly.).

So, yeah. There you go.

The dev builds are completely nonfunctional for me, though, which is why I spent a good four hours total beating the shit out of mods to get something more up to date functioning.
Because then you'd have to agonizingly download each of the 50 mods you want from their respective ad.fly links.
Also that. I now have an infinite hatred of whatever the hell adfly is, if for no reason than it took multiple reloads to get about a third of the stuff I wanted to start downloading. Violently, violently annoying.

Bah. M'like 5'7", 5'8". Somewhere in there. Might be 5'6". Tend to forget about five seconds after finding out during doctor visits.

But! If I flick my tail up, I gain a good foot and a half t'two feet for a mo'. Long hair love, dumdedoo.

Though it's not much of a rage thing. I wouldn't mind being shorter. Liked it better when I was. Is more useful, generally.

Except the reaching places thing, but eh. Climbing is good, too. More fun.

Re: The mask thing: It's pretty much a gundam thing. Not all of 'em, but pretty much most of them have at least one blonde masked dude, who is usually an antagonist (at least to begin with). Iirc, they also have a terrible habit of picking completely useless aliases that absolutely everyone sees through. I've seen SRW lampshade that a few times, though I forget if J does it. It's more a OG and Wing running gag than seed, and I don't think either of those show up in J (it's got seed and G, but I think that's it?).

Crueset's something of a one-off, though, iirc. Unlike char and zechs, Cruset's just plain batshit insane and never really does any good-guy side helping stuff. At least, I think. Pretty much my entire knowledge of seed comes from fanfiction, heh.

Also, it's a little bit more than just space racism -- there's some genetic engineering stuff going on at the base of it. Other SRWs that include that subplot also throw the enhanced evolution/psychic power thing (read:Newtypes)in there, but that's not involved in Seed and G, so I don't think it comes up much in J. It's actually kind of interesting; the fear on the part of naturals of being replaced vs. the space born's resource issues. Neat (if somewhat standard) sci-fi plot.

Yeah, bugger the cash.

Anyway OTP just means One True Pairing, or something along those lines. Indicates an assertion of romantic entanglement between the named. Pretty common term around fan fiction and fandom discussions, from what I understand. Next step after that is stuff like OT#, for polyamorous relationships -- the number being whatever number of characters involved.
