It's a shame FF7 didn't have that.
Hey, bright side. It does now!

... sorta. More can than does, but anyway.

Yeah... fast forward coupled with an RPG you can rapid-fire your way through the battles (I.e. The confirm button doesn't open a menu in the field)? Grinding can suddenly bite your ass, because you finished like three hours ago and are now halfway through the game.

It makes certain games suddenly enjoyable, without the taint of outright cheating :P

Incidentally, does anyone know of any decent and meaty thaum2 LPs? Or ones involving it, anyway.
Have you seen forsaken1111's?
Wouldn't even have thought to look there. Will check it out a bit, but the PoS browser I'm mostly forced to use cuts off the right sixth or so of all the images :-\

And yeah, that 4096 thing is exactly what you're looking for. Almost managed to ninja ak :P

I know exactly what compelled me to finish it, many years after I first played it.

The fast forward button and PAR. As with many games, it's fairly enjoyable when you can just excise the annoying parts :P

Yeah, I've been following that one. Dire's LP style is fairly appealing to me (at least for minecraft, anyway), which is part of what was throwing me off the other stuff I've been finding. Beyond the ones I've been running into being fairly terrible for aforementioned and other reasons.

Delicious deon purple everywhere~

Incidentally, does anyone know of any decent and meaty thaum2 LPs? Or ones involving it, anyway. I've not been having much luck finding ones I can stand to watch. Someone nattering on for a good 15-20 minutes without doing anything is somewhat off-putting, and that seems to be a... common sort of weakness.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra is out!  Yet another series I have to catch up on.  Also, a parkour gym is opening in my area!  Life is good.
Legend of Korra? *googles*

Huh. There was a sequel thingy. Also, things learned: Kataang canon shipped (damn), new avatar apparently gets tiny harem, Aang gets awesomebeard. I can roll with this.

Should probably get around to watching the bits of th'first one I never saw, eventually.

Unknown to you, the coffee fairy* has been injecting you with small doses of coffee while you sleep. This time, it had a little extra.

*Haha, no, I'm joking. It's actually spiders.

Crawl, it would be difficult; there's notable issues with making roguelikes multiplayer. The best incarnation I've personally seen is ToMEnet, which is alright but very much a *band and a few (now dead, last I checked) MUD-type creations.

As for any way, well... of course. If you can code well enough and figure out how to do it :P

E: You might try CAO or CDO, though. It's not exactly multiplayer, but one or the other could spectate and ride along, so to speak.

Because Florida is a god-dammed dumbass.

Not really much else to say, here. Bloody state has some serious g'damn problems and no one major really trying to fix anything. The social failures are only half the story, really, if that. They're prefaced and supported by fairly horrific economic issues, as well :-\

We're just not doing very well down here, really. I really do want out, but that's still a few years away, realistically. Bleh.

And yeah, Florida pretty much did the same thing re:homosexual marriage, including the let's-shaft-the-unmarried bit, a few years back. From what I remember, though, it was a little different down here in that homosexual marriage was already unconstitutional -- at least twice over -- and all that really happened was civil unions and cohabitants just got screwed a bit. And by a bit, iirc, I mean something along the lines of the amendment giving businesses grounds to strip parts of insurance support from them, or something like that. S'been long enough I don't quite remember the details, but there was a pretty heavy economic issue (that was, of course, completely drowned out by the anti-homosexual aspect) involved that just kinda' slipped on through and fucked over (or at least gave the room for it) a fairly large number of heterosexual couples.

It was almost hilarious, really, in a really depressing way.

Sunday is the 1st day of the week because the power of the LORD compels you!
But--

That makes even less sense. The seventh day was the day of rest, not the first. You don't start your week with sabbath, you end it. Unless your numbering system goes 7 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 [...]. Which would just totally bugger with the mathematics systems involved.

When did we get this start with Sunday silliness, and why has no one told me in the last 2+ decades?

... well, anyway. No. Week starts with Monday, and I'm going to look at people who say otherwise like they're silly, until they offer a better reason for it.

It... Sunday is the first day of the week in the states? I... I've never noticed. Clarification edit: I've lived in the states my whole life. Always assumed it was Monday, because, y'know, weekend. Why in hell would we call a weekend day a week's beginning. This makes no sense.

... neither have frustrated me. Like, at all. My entire experience with pretty much both of those have been overwhelmingly net positive. Well, animal control, anyway. Also wood eating Aztec wall toucans, man. This shit doesn't have meaning :P
