I vote for Borot to be self-destructed in every mission possible :P Keep a running tally!

These requests may not run counter to one another.

I've never actually used Borot for... anything. Not even to explode. In any of the SRWs I've played. Might be interesting!

Theme names require no knowledge or understanding of gameplay mechanics :P

Easier for us folks that haven't played (or played much, in my case) the game to contribute with that, heh.

That said~

Put my crew allocation vote down for min-max, i.e. whatever makes your ship the most combat capable :P

Pengui probably means recharging rods. Using a recharge scroll on a rod, that is. Knowledge bot!

I'd probably say sink some energy upgrades into the flagship if it'll let you. I've... already forgotten how soon it starts letting you do that. But yeah, a bit more EN for Nadesico, for delicious beam artillery. Probably just one or two, for now.

Never was particularly fond of the Aestivalises or Combattler, so I probably wouldn't suggest bothering with them much :P

I also completely forget if J lets you sink PP into piloting abilities or not. *goes and checks* Nope! Well then. No real suggestions for training, other than a general "Improve strengths, don't bother shoring up weaknesses" thing; i.e. Range/hit/defense/ability (in that order of preference, more or less) on Yurika. Except for hit, I guess. Anyone that doesn't have strike probably wants hit.

Pants help (though only help, they're not sufficient in themselves) keep the mosquitoes, fleas, chiggers, ticks, red bugs, wasps, leeches, bees, spiders, scorpions (though fortunately only small ones!), snakes, dogs, cats, poison ivy, poison oak, various sorts of thorns, ring worms, and... etc., so forth, so on... off the legs and feet. Mind you, they don't always manage, but some prevention is better than no prevention.

Now you silly people living in sufficiently warm areas that aren't swamps... man, hell if I know why you're wearing pants. Your local environment isn't actively attempting to consume and/or propagate in you.

Medical science is getting closer every day True. Eventually you will be able to give birth to a Jesus. Probably have to go to some other country, though.

26169
Yeah, reading through that article... it was actually a bit worse than True summarized, as the guy did pay the court fines in question; the only reason he had a warrant out for 'im was a clerical error. Someone fucked up their filing, person got stripped twice, at least once in front of detainees. Fellow files lawsuit, SCOTUS says "Oh well, too bad. Safety, you know?"

It's two separate issues (Bad filing, plainface 4th amendment violation Now writ down as constitutional, ahahaha), but damn. Just... damn. The trend continues.

Yesterday, Frumple finally got around to finding out how long you're supposed to bake potatoes.

Today, and every day extending into the future, is Baked Potato Day.

Protip: Baked potatoes are finger food.

Sweet mother of zeus. How in hell am I still alive?

... but yeah. Ancient lich is dead (24 HP, surrounded by 1s >_<, thank Ash for last second teleport), Mennas is dead... I think Crypt:5 is fairly safe now.

E: It was! Also absolute crap loot. Bah!

E2: Welp, time to go check out Zot. First enemy encountered: Tiamat! Plus draconian escort! WHEEEE*teleport*.

Then it's back into the abyss. Again. $#*(.

Weelpp. Dipped in to shoals to check for viability. 404 turns later, picked up barnacle rune. 61 turns after that, back in lair :-\

Was kind of underwhelming. Biggest issue was having to uncurse my gourmand amulet and swap in a controlled flight to pick up the rune itself, while under fire from a javilineer (who basically couldn't hurt me so yeaaah).

But... yeah. I like underwhelming. Gon go check out crypt now. Maybe I'll luck out with a randart rElec demon trident... did manage to nab a freezing one from shoals, which is... not terrible. Little more versatility in my brand.

E: Curse skulls Torment *fist shake*

Don't like going into shoals without some form of levitation... and literally all I've got is potions. And like... two of those. Total. In the entire dungeon (thus far explored, anyway). Abyss (And footaurs with frost/flaming bows/ammo) hasn't been very nice to my consumable stocks. I don't think anything in the place would be particularly dangerous at this point, but the threat of getting stuck on an island or drowning or whatev' is nasty. Could dip in to check and see, but... don't feel like I really have the tools I'd need to make shoals "safe."

Crypt is actually a fairly decent idea, thinking on it; if nothing else, Ash makes death curses a non-issue.

Probably enchant it up and swap when I load the game back up next, then. I've been sticking with the chainmail due to the rElec and +6 damage more than anything -- there's a +0 crystal plate sitting in a shop somewhere if I was seriously after AC uber alles; between the rest of my kit and a +5 prot ring, I've still got 36 AC which... isn't terrible, but yeah, swapping over would make it a lot better. The rElec loss is worrisome, though, especially given how often I've been running into storm dragons and electric eel hordes (8 on the screen at the same time, aiee). Got access in a couple of other weapons for it, but no polearms. Still, will give dungeon scan for it and then switch, I think.

Then back to the abyss, I guess. I've certainly got enough food to find the rune... hopefully, and it's not like the bloody place has bothered spawning anything (sufficiently) dangerous for the last few thousand turns I've been in the place. Though that vault thing mentioned was... annoying. I'd ran into a vault once, got abyss-shifted (or perhaps shafted) about a turn after opening the door to the bloody thing :-\
