... color me confused, then. Guess I thought it was the 11th, my time. Anyway, it'd be... 28 hours, thereabouts. Little less, I think.

Still probably not going to try again, I'unno. Maybe it'll bite me later this afternoon. I didn't expect to have such thorough ennui toward crawl at the time when I offered to jump in :-\

Blehbleh. S'over in five hours, innit? S'not enough time for me to do much, meh, and don't really feel like playing anyway.

Didn't think I'd get around to playing much, but didn't think I'd play so little, either. That save-file buggery really threw me off :-\

Anyway, yeah. Worst personal showing of the tourneys so far. Probably sit the next one out unless I'm actually bitten by the crawl bug when it rolls around.

How do you people break so many of these?
How do we break them? Stepped on, slept on, sat on, crushed with chair, ran over by car(s), chewed to bits by dog, wires gnawed through by cat, wires gnawed to uselessness by self, wires twisted over long period until no longer function, fall apart for no discernible reason (outside of shoddy construction). I don't think I've lost any to fire yet. Maybe one or two sets lost to summer heat (Leave in car in Florida summer, lucky if not puddle). List goes on, really.

Usually they either get stepped on or crushed by a chair in a moment of inattention, often after they slide/get knocked off wherever they were; second most common cause is what Dutch did. Most (cheaparse) earbuds last about 3-4 months for me, occasionally a bit longer. Comes out to maybe $15-20 spent on earbuds yearly, as opposed to dropping $60+ on a single (large, somewhat clumsy) headphone set that'll last maybe 2-3 years, if lucky. Cost analysis is easy for me :P

Only the actually good (Read: $20 and way, way up) ones, not th'cheapo (Read: <5$) ones.

... and they break pretty easy for me, no matter the type or quality. Got a solid, fairly expensive (was over $60 USD, iirc) many years back. It lasted a good two or three years, sure, but I'd have saved thirty or forty bucks just buying cheap earbuds (<5$) and breaking a few a year :(

Earbuds are cheaper and sound better (at least to me, heh, but I'm not much of an audiophile...) than those cheap crap foam-covered-things headphones. Th'ones that don't actually cover the ears. Less sound escapes too, which is a bonus.

Plus earbuds are smaller and less obtrusive. That matters sometimes :-\

Anyway, earbud advocacy for the currency-limited complete. Away!

Cursory search for Super Robotnik reveals to me that there is apparently a Robotnikhotep.

I can't decide if horror or some sort of ancient-spirits-of-evil joke is more appropriate. E: Egg-ra the Everliving?

Anyway, Super Robotnik in one of the cartoon series, apparently. Doesn't seem to be in games. Kinda' makes sense, I guess; Robotnik's human, most of the rest of the cast, well, isn't.

It is not ok to call a 23 year old woman a prostitute and a slut and what not, but it is totally ok if she is a 30 year old woman's right activist/liberal media plant.
Welcome to American politics ::)

Seriously though, almost makes you wonder if RL 'imself, or someone backing him, started up that line about the age. Or just the "conservative media," I guess.

Yellow journalism... innit that the name for it?

Fair enough. Why is Megaman cosplaying as him, though?

... I most like between 50ish and mid-sixties. Seventy's bearable, but seventy-two is just warm enough to be somewhat uncomfortable. Sixty-five is my ideal temperature. I love caves and air conditioning.

E: Florida is my own personal temperature hell, except for a few weeks in winter.

Thin skinned other domicile residents gone for weekend. Frumple can set AC to 65 and be happy ♫

Delicious, blessed cool. No more hot. Just cool. For at least 36 hours.

My sanity, it seeps back into me.
