So Virginia is basically advocating medical rape of women who want an abortion.
Yeah, that's about as fucking disgusting as I've seen in a fair bit. I actually hadn't realized thats what was required to do an ultrasound that early in a pregnancy (I don't know anyone that's had one done willingly that early, because honestly, what hell's the point? Mostly just a blob at that stage, from what I understand.), but with that bit added on... s'sick. Was bad enough before, but that's bloody frakking sick.

"What are Women For?"
Can someone break this one down for me, though? I have no idea what the hell point or statement it's trying to make.

The concept of people being for anything, regardless of gender, seems really g'damn weird to me. Existence before essence et al.

It might be more vague disbelief (i.e. wtf) than infinite anger. I know seeing that doesn't incite rage in me, but a sort of muddled bemusement.

Then a sort of idle attempt to remember the numbers on illiteracy.

At least the only person he killed was himself. -1 drunk driver, +1 world.

And I'm very much aware how viciously cold that is, yes. Still mean it. There's few acts short of murder that's quite as likely to get other people killed as DUI. I give thanks he only killed himself. Glad he'll never get another chance to do that, in all honesty. The sentiment extends to all drunk drivers.

Well, either someone installed it or fellow's got a flash drive with it on it, or something along those lines. It's... kinda' a thing you do, if you're using computers-not-your-own with regularity. Have a little suite of useful software on something portable.

That's considered blazing fast? O.o

The lowest speed I've ever got was 1.7MB/s
It's faster than 2.8K/s, whippersnapper.

I think it's kinda' the point that there already is one in north america -- the NAFTA (Mentioned in the OP :P). Which the US is part of. It's primarily trade, but it still counts.

Ah, other house residents are gone for the weekend. I have set the AC to 69F. Today starts with Nairobi Hop, one of the few pieces of rap music I can stand to listen to.

Today will be a good day. I can cackle freely.

Okay, yeah. It's a known thing, I guess, but surrender is kinda' ridiculous right now.

One fight, my paragon manages to scare off most of a major group, so th'lot of them retreats. I end up with two onslaughts, two dominators, two condors, and enforcer, a lasher, and a pair of broadsword and talon fighter wings all surrendering to me. That's a little silly~

... incidentally, I appear to be the largest fleet on the map now. At least until all this junk gets repaired and I sell it, anyway. E:I got 309,025 credits for 'em all~

Ah, sickness and high-ish level cognition. With any luck, you'll start hallucinating enough to make things fun but not enough to stop you. Remember to add a sickness disclaimer and minor apology for any particularly hilarious flawed work; it probably won't affect the grade to the better, but it's polite and occasionally nets a chance to correct mistakes. Many is the apology I've attached to assignments.

And laughing is good. Maniacal laughter is better, but disturbs any roommates/neighbors... unfortunately. It's very cathartic.

... few too many classes? Maybe go with one or two less next semester? Even classes that aren't difficult can be time consuming and if you load up, the stress will get to you.

But yeah, charge on through. Should have spring break coming up... what, few weeks? Some down time there if you keep up with everything.

Also, this talk of cathedral and whatnot mechas got me thinking: would it be wrong to 'shop the Kaaba to make a Mecca Mecha?
... no. No, it would not be wrong at all. Doit.

E: Metal Meta Mecca Mecha Macka'. Muchuu~

Ahahaha, the hunchback thing reminded me of something else hilarious
From Mabinogi, which has a plot/quest line that just hilariously mangles Hamlet. It's great, especially when you're playing a giant and bishie-Hamlet's eyes are directly on level with your crotch.

Anyway, yeah, the Hunchback giant anime thing would be a musical. Attacks would, indeed, be sung.

Random thought of the concept of Notre-Daum... or Dom, I guess.

Hunchback of Notre-Dame reimaged as a giant robot anime. I'd watch it.

Mweeheeheehee, I just had two onslaught battleships surrender to me (and my paragon) <3

And then I sold them.

... then went and bought an odyssey, because hell, why not?

War of aggression... if you're specifically looking at attempted conquest, sure, there's plenty of people in the world that haven't done that, specifically. Plenty of cultures and people weren't and aren't expansionistic. If you're looking for no violence at all, well, that's considerably more rare; you usually have border skirmishes and raids and so forth as kind of par for course.

But wars of aggression, especially in the sense that term's used nowadays is comparatively rare, from what I understand.
